I was one of in doubt when Pres. Duterte said, he will eliminate drugs in three to six months, but he hadn't said anything how he can do that, just a promise.

It's only just a propaganda to win an election. You would hear that same kind of promises from the politicians over and over again. Almost all past presidents made the promise that the country will have a better economy if you voted them but look the Philippines is still a poor country.

Pres. Duterte should clean the Customs first because this is where the majority of shipment of drugs from other countries came from. It's a common knowledge the Customs is the most corrupt agency in the Philippines and this is one of the reasons why drugs can easily be ship to the country

Its a common knowledge that in the world of politics that all branches of it is corrupt.

Is it safe to travel to Philipine in this time? As police seem very easy to kill anyone without a question ask now.
Before I booked Cebu tiket already but I finnal cancel it at the end due I'm not feel safe,
Any suggest?

It's very safe to travel to the Philippines especially to Cebu, as long as you did not do anything wrong or illegal. Only some parts of Mindanao is not advisable to travel.
You don't have to be worry to travel, and if you are not familiar with the place it's much better if you have Filipino friend to accompany you

About the news you heard, the police killing some people are all drugs suspects or connected to illegal drugs because of Pres. Duterte's mission to stop illegal drugs.

I'm not certain. But I'm hoping. We just need to support our President. He's doing everything he can for the next generation.
But if the next President won't continue to go after those drug dealers, users, suppliers, and lords, I think everything will be put into waste.

this is not going to work. Take a gander at the medication wars in Mexico and focal America. Significantly more individuals managing drugs slaughter each other. It's a substantially more perilous diversion over yonder. Has the likelihood of getting murder stop it? No. there's a great deal of cash to be made. I could see a civilian army being made in light of this war.

but some people thinks, as a matter of fact It's difficult to make a nation a medication free as long as their still client who will relinquish their life just to offer or utilize It perhaps not in our present age but rather I trust the present president doing his best to mindful the young people of the nation about the impacts of medications I supposes its a decent move in light of the fact that if offspring of today will know about the consquence of utilizing drugs then we can expect a medication free Philippines tomorrow.

The philippines is a country where drugs are everywhere even in the prison cells here. there are a lot of crimes about drugs that needs to be solved but it looks like the people doesn’t want it to be solved because even thou our president is solving it, the people opposes it.

Drugs is the number one problem here in the phillipines as of now phillipines is not drug free because its hard to destroy the main source of drugs i think Chinese,Taiwanese is the founder of drugs...and drugs is very harmful to our lives
There are a lot of problems in the Philippines and definitely, drugs are one of the big things that should be dealt with because it could affect everyone especially the new generation of kids. It shouldn't be seen by people that could probably copy them in a sense because they see it.

He can do it for sure because he is hardworking or making effort on his campaign. I wish for the best of him. Even if he is rudeness or bull headness sometimes. Atleast he is sincere all the time.

He's serious about his job. And I feel how much he loves the Philippines. I know how hard it is for him to eradicate totally the drugs because most of the druglords are the one who has higher position in the military or in the government. This will be a long way journey for him, 6 years in position is not enough. I hope there will be a chance that it may extend his term.

Well, they are definitely going underground more now. I also don't like what's happening. Such a shame that he's getting chummy with China which is where majority of the drugs going into the country is coming from. China saying it'll fund rehabilitation clinics here would be like the British taking opium addicts to wean them off.

I don't think that the Chinese government is deliberately trying to flood Philippines with drugs. Although many of the drug lords in the region are of Chinese origin, they don't have any direct connections with the Chinese government. Another point to note here is that a majority of the drugs flowing in to the Philippines are coming from the countries such as Myanmar, Thailand, and Cambodia.

It won't work. Look at the drug wars in Mexico and central America. A lot more people dealing drugs kill each other. It's a much more dangerous game over there. Has the possibility of getting murder stop it? No. there's a lot of money to be made.

I could see a militia being created in response to this war.
its already working and he is doing a great job.  President duterte, really hate drugs, and honestly he’s very strict, even smoke cigarettes in the public areas are banned in the ph.  he can do what he said, for now He eradicate all drug sindicate and some of the drug lord in the philippines. This campaign will be helpful specially to those people who suffering to addiction. And correction, they all do it for the sake of the protection and development of the society.

I really hope that it would work. 6 years for the President's term may not be sufficient to totally eradicate the problem of illlegal drugs, but if they can grestly weaken it and the next incoming leader (future presidents) would continue his legacy, then it might actually be possible. It's just a shame that the previous administrations didn't do anything about it so I think they should be held liable as well.

I am really surprised by the actions of the president of the Philippines, the distribution of free medicine to the people will provide medicine for the whole people, help people quickly recover from illness, and further this action can help the president get the trust and love of the people.

This guy is doing a great job, i hope more and more countries will learn from him.
Who's him? Duterte? Yes, He is doing a great job, but there is also a lot of innocent person dying because killing those drug addicts, the best way to have a drug free nation, he needs to build a big rehabilitation center for them, and take some medication for them to stop using drugs. Killing can also kill innocent people, what if a person already wants to change? but he killed already? That is not a good idea I think.
Rehabilitation doesn't work at all if it did there wouldn't be a lot of drug addicts on the streets at all times, the best way to tackle the drug problem is to be aggressive because the drug dealers are an aggressive people as well. They need to stop the inflow from the source and that's exactly Eustis they are doing.

Didn't he legalize homicides if the victim was a drug user/dealer? I'm not sure if that's reality or myth but if it is true that's pretty fucked up. Given the fact that "drug" encompass all kind of substances from cannabis to heroin.
