The president did not order to kill those drug addicts and users. They are lots of drug users are already in rehab and trying to get a new life. The president may be very strict but it is for his fellow men and for his country.

i think base on my own understanding, there are much more victims of drug addicts and pushers in the philippines, and the president didnt actually order the murder of the drug addicts. don't base it always in mainstream media.. learn to research too

there is a point if we need to explore more deeply about the truth that conveyed by the media will be drug abuse in the Philippines.
basically we also have to tolerate if an act of limiting this goal for good will certainly have impacts on the other side as well.
this is a business that deserves to be appreciated despite the need for improvement of the system used.

Yes, He is doing a great job, but there is also a lot of innocent person dying because killing those drug addicts, the best way to have a drug free nation, he needs to build a big rehabilitation center for them, and take some medication for them to stop using drugs. Killing can also kill innocent people, what if a person already wants to change? but he killed already? That is not a good idea I think.

drug isn't lost our country but is just reduced and does not kill the users and the drug pushes the solution to lose the drugs.infact,those who have been accused of being killed or imprisoned .in the presence of the president many have changed because of fear they will die or culprit somehow reduced its users especially shabu.

Actually, I am from Philippines. It is true that the new president in our country is very strict. Even smoking cigarettes is banned from our country now. I guess it is really progressing well and his leadership is very effective as well.

I applaud the president of the Philippines for his initative on the drug campaign however I still have concerns on the scope and the limitstion of this war as there are casualties left and right and this means that they would just be a footbote and a collateral damage.

I think president duterte will not succeed to his wat againts drugs, because as I look to it, I see only those who are users are getting caught or being put to death, but those who are selling or the main producers of drugs are still on going. And those who are making drugs and selling it to the Filipinos are working in the government or working as an official, how can you eliminate those who are working to make you country a better place,

i can't really say that philippines is already drug free, because drugs is a very big problem that cannot be remove totally but can be lessen, i mean, there's still big drug dealers in the phillipines, but kudos to the President of the phillippines for doing his very best to fight drugs!

in Philippines drugs completely prohibited but few persons doing smuggling on drugs. they have to encouraging students, youth especially. but that country president try to prohibiting totally. present they have to working on drugs and alcohol. president tries to stop all bad activities and drugs. many people killing and trying to doing thefting also like that people punished here.

Yes he might be brutal in things like that but still many presidents tried to stop drugs and other lawlessness but none really achieved more than the president of the Philippines right at this moment achieved. He is a president who truly loves his people and wants to change this corrupt nation.

Drug addiction is a world wide problem, it's hard to kill it because a big organized group of influential people are handling it. It's hard for the President to end this problem because a lot of big people are under it.
