I think it could be possible and attainable that Philippines can become a drug free country.  But of coursethose who wanted to have a good business or income will still find a way to sell drugs.  Just like any other country, Philippines should be vigilant in punishing those people who will caught selling illegal drugs.  Like in China and Indonesia where people who caught having illegal drugs were punished by death penalty.

I agree that the Philippines is more safer for ordinary people than before. The only not safe is the drug lord and pusher. The local government now is converting the hospital to rehabilitation and I'm against it. The innocent people suffers more, I dont believe that the addicts are victims.

Well i don't think any country who's already exposed to massive drug addiction would be drug free in a couple of years. With what the philippine president is doing right now, he may well be able to reduce drug addiction but not entirely eradicate it. He's doing a pretty good job so far though, considering all the opposition he's been getting locally and internationally

I don't see anything wrong with this, this should be implemented everywhere, well maybe not killing but put them in the mine to mine everyday for the rest of their lives and eliminate the drug lords. For this world to be better, some people need to die.

Yes indeed. Not 100% that the drug menace maybe eliminated but for  an astonishing reduction of supply and with efforts of police I can say "good job". They sacrifice thier lives for saving the citizens especially the youth, now people really feel the changed.

It won't work. Look at the drug wars in Mexico and central America. A lot more people dealing drugs kill each other. It's a much more dangerous game over there. Has the possibility of getting murder stop it? No. there's a lot of money to be made.

I could see a militia being created in response to this war.

its already working.

Expect to have more pinoys actually. He recently asked TelCo companies to set up free wifi zones to public places in the country. This will give the rest of the pinoys to have access on the internet for free and might just clam here aiming to accumulate more btc.  Grin

Free WiFi is OK. But to browse the internet, you need a smartphone or a laptop. Is he having any plans to distribute laptops for free? He can import used and discarded laptops from the US.

Probably not possible as of now. he despises US in fact he wants the US troops out of the Philippines and establish alliance to China and perhaps Russia
He figured US can't help the current war on drugs as CHR wants to investigate him.

Hmf ? about the drugs, I am not sure if it is really going to be completely free. Although the campaign to stop drugs is really aggressive. Still, they cannot monitor all people if there is a transaction in drugs. Maybe they will annihilate drugs but not completely.

No in terms of WiFi problems in the Philippines. I think they should focus first on making our internet speed faster and cheaper and prioritize first those who are paying to have an internet connection before establishing free WiFi zones which will just add to the peers that consume SLOW internet due to lack of towers for distribution of signal to different places in our country.

Wifi isn't their first priority.

The administration is winning the war on drugs. they may not completely wipe them out,  the ones that will circulate will just be a tiny percentage of how much it is before Duterte.

Well thats good for the country because people now a day are enjoying in surfing in the internet not by just earning the money but because they know what is real happening now in the world. They are not blind now unlike in 19s which people are educated and open minded person.
The idea of the world news in 30 articles is a flawed, it's a form of entertainment. They are blind now like in the 19s, they just have more entertainment to watch. It's a good development, people don't want boring lives. An informed public could be dangerous, if people knew everything their leaders were doing they'd probably make a revolution.

I don't see any evidence of it being effective. Drug users go to online website to order their shit, it gets delivered to their home. I don't think this policy can stop that practice. You also seem to think that there is no corruption in your government  Cheesy

No I guess you are cons or anti-duterte because you see only hus foul mouthed against western countries. But we saw root about this issue. The yellow army is behind this what I mean is the Liberal Party. Because they know that Duterte is a bullheadedness person so it is easy to stabbed him from the back. I wish the God guides him.

He may not completely eradicate drugs but sure it won't be vulgar enough that even kids can just get out of their house and buy meth like its just a bag candy of candy in a  thrift store

Duterte should do something to create jobs so that the pinoys dont have to come on this forum and spam for pennies.

President of the Philippines decided to cleanse our nation of this shit. And rightly so. It's time to do it.
thats right time to clean and make this country safe from drug addicts i just hope the president will live longer so he can pursue to his will everything now is moving smoothly people is already trusting the government and the goal of being a drug free country cant be achieved right away but it can be possible just needed some more time.

He just kill all people who are involved in drug. You don't solve problems just to murder all who don't fit you ideally country in his eyes. A country without drugs don't exist it will always be part of the world.
