since i am indian and in india there is no practical way to spent btc  . but i am using btc to spent at purse.io to purchase some gift card and purchase items .
I think any country as long as they accept the worldwide shipping you can get the goods from anywhere and pay with bitcoin, but the problem is the cost of shipping is very expensive

That is the reason why i never buy anything online with my bitcoins because the price of the thing is way less then the shipping fees and that stops me everytime i want to buy something using my bitcoins.
Until we see more physical shops accepting bitcoin as payment, we would be limited to online shops where the shipping fees sometimes are more expensive than the actual product. That's the reality with bitcoin right now. We might have to wait a few more years before we see more shops accept bitcoin. For that to happen, bitcoin must have stability and faster transaction processes. Those are the minimum basic requirement to attract others to use and support bitcoin as currency.

Yes I spend it whenever I need money in case of emergencies, I sell it and convert it to fiat currency, and sometimes I also spend it on gambling and for mobile top ups using bitrefill.com

Never needed to convert my bitcoins to fiat or never got such emergencies that could compel me to do that, but i also use bitrefill.com to top up my mobile and run my 4g internet with that, and that is a really big help for me as i'm a student and all i have are just bitcoins.
That is good for you that you never encounter any emergency cases, but me if i have good value of bitcoin i prefer to exchange it to fiat because every month i need extra money for my utility bills.
You have no choice man because you need to pay your utility bills, investment will only come when you can afford to do it as if not and you will enter in it, you might have a big problem in the future if bitcoin will not succeed.

Bitcoin is already successful, don't you see the growth of bitcoin in past few years? And it will be more higher in value in future so I don't think there is anything to worry about it.

yeah, i think maximum people are convert their bitcoin in fiat and then use it for online shopping but i am sure that we will use bitcoin for direct shopping in near future and then i hope bitcoin will be more get popularity than other crypto currency .

That is what we are going to do if we have bitcoin of course we are going to sell it and going to spend it for real. Me either, I'm using bitcoin for buying my mobile load  and I have discount when I'm buying mobile loads with the use of bitcoin. And that is very convenient for me, I don't have to go to physical store just for buying load.

I think for a lot of people it's not the point that you could use your money to buy Bitcoin and then buy other stuff. To most that I've tried to convince to use Bitcoin, they always say, why not just buy the stuff and avoid the middle man.
[/quote]

Exactly. With bitcoin no one will get you your money back. Look at what happened to bitfinex each person will have to forfeit 36% of their holdings. If this happens to a bank you are not losing a dime. Bitcoin for the general public is not safe and will take a long long time to get the publics trust. Bitcoin to the general person is very complicated.  They would rater just use a credit card. Credit cards take on the risk. I hope you don't put your life savings in Bitcoin.

I think for the delivery of goods from abroad will require quite a long time? of course we can not use it in everyday life?
I really want to buy goods instantly and pay for it with bitcoin. and may occasionally buy at online shop

As of now  that is commonly happening since bitcoin couldnt spend  in all countries into physical stores or some merchants. Some may exchange it to fiat so that they could buy goods  and other necessities and wants. As we see that bitcoin has a bright future maybe it would be possible to buy goods directly by using bitcoin itself.
It is not actually a problem with us in a country where bitcoin is not that popular as we can easily cash out to a respective banks so we can still spend our money on that way, in the future when bitcoin are more popular smaller country will also follow the bigger country and we can spend efficiently then.

Yes and even if at this if I am not able to spend my coins directly, I really won't mind in selling it and transferring to my bank account as its more convenient for me to that.
If converting the bitcoins into cash, and spending those cash into something is considered spending the coins, then yes.
I spend my bitcoins in real life. Otherwise, I don't. I usually spend them on food and paying bills though and I just save the remaining few and when they accumulate enough, I buy things that I want just so I could relieve myself from stressful days.

the Important thing is bitcoin gives us very safety and security and we can hold our own money. and this is the most comfortable thing for me.
same here, as you said thats not a problem. we can easily exhange our bitcoins in cash

I would most definitely spend bitcoins in my daily real life if there was an outlet to spend them where I live. Embarrassed
you should try to motivate your neighbors and friends to use and buy bitcoin and hope you will very soon find an opportunity to use bitcoin in your daily life as other people use it

Try to be a congressman in your place then try to pass a bill haha. Lol i know that one sounds really crazy but yeah i guess that is also a best way to promote bitcoin in your place. Well in my  case i have small loading business that was directly both from bitcoin. So in this way i was able to promote bitcoin

LOL yeah that would be easier if you have supporter in the league.  Anyway if you intend to persuade people to use bitcoin, you should find another people in your area that usee bitcoin too.  That way there is always a confirmation in everything  you said.  And it is more efffective that doing it alone.

This is a common method for a lot or people especially in my country I think I can define more than 90 percent of bitcoins is always selling their BTC and transferring into their bank account. in this time to doing that is very easy in my minds

Yes its very easy and very convenient but I feel that fees are high as whenever I transfer it from localbitcoins they charge 2% fees which is too high if you are selling high amount of coins.
