I assume you could always say "I am from nation A and live in nation B" if you have to, but there is no reason to fool a casino, it's just VPN usage to remove the possibility of getting tracked, hence even if anything bad happens and casino doesn't pay up, I do not put too much money into it. At no point in time, I ever have money in any casino that would make me upset if I lose it all together, they could block all of my profits or deposits and I would be fine.

I take that risk because the other risk of me being tracked is bigger problem for me, I just dislike it that much. Same experience to me. We have multiple accounts on different e-commerce platform and social media accounts and all of them receives 500+ message per day each about inquiry of customers for there purchased. Missing them to reply for about 1hr will result to negative rating on my shop. in my opinion, casinos need to train their employees in the support department, for example, the ideal would be the following:

the casino would hire 5 support employees who had programming knowledge, how a casino works from the code, games and frequent problems and then the casino would submit these employees to training that would consist of: knowing everything about the casino, casino TOS , fees and time of withdrawal, deposits... everything!
