I cant say that I'm addicted gambler, I always able to control myself in both money and time whenever I'm gambling. I gamble just because I like to play it without any worries of losing my money because I always set my own gambling limit so it will not affect my finances. I reduced my gambling activity because there are many other things in IRL that I have to take care of since several months ago.
That is the best approach, but it is difficult to always be able to control yourself. I also try to set my limits but sometimes I start tilting and start placing crazy bets. Especially if I am in a losing streak, I always want to recover that money as quickly as possible. Only thing that helps for me, is limit the balance I have on the sites to avoid that I would loose too much.
It is a very good technique, but you can play every day, what you have to do is risk management, that is, if you have money totally willing to lose, you can divide it into days, for example if you have 100USD willing to lose, you can play 5 times a week making the maximum bet per day of 20USD and I think that this way is the safest thing you can do and that is how you do what you like the most. The strategy that says about playing less is also good, but I think it's too harsh, and if it affects the player emotionally, I think it's too radical and too strong.
Ofcourse that is a good strategy. Dividing the amount into equal days but that is where the self control lacks for many gamblers.
Many gamblers play as long as they have balance in their gambling accounts and end up losing it all.
Not everyone really has the self control to maintain their balance and limit themselves from gambling.
