I had that type of situation with my family. That is why I stop gambling time to time nowadays, and when I do, I gamble with very low amounts.

I think many people have the same experience as you, especially when they win big money.
They will think the same and play gambling more than before because they see how fast they can make money from gambling.
If they can not control themselves, it is just a matter of time to see they will lose all of the money and the worst scenario is they can become addicted to gambling.
You are lucky to have family that always supports and helps you anytime you need them to know what they should do to help you.

IIRC, duelbits was interested to do new raffle after that time but seems that they are focusing more on the site development/improvement first before they can give us another big event.

Sure, you are not the only one who experienced it. I experienced it several times in the past

It is not a big deal obviously as long as it is still under our own control and we still enjoy it although sometimes we regret what we did

By the way, time flies so fast. Just noticed that duelbits has just passed a year (+1 week) since they came to this forum in September last year. Hope duelbits will bring us more surprises and features in the future and I hope there will be a big event at the end of the year to celebrate Christmas and New Year like what they did last year with the raffle.

I do believe that these "everyone can win" type of stuff are very important for a casino. The amount is obviously small but the thing I care about is not the amount but the fact that you end up winning something. That feeling of being a winner is very important and this is why many people end up gambling, sure the profit you make while gambling is a great feeling but at the same time being the winner is even more important to me.

I could gamble with fake money and win a lot and would be super excited about it as well, the only thing I win is fake money and yet I am still happy because I won something. These prizes that even a small gambler like me can win is a new thing because most places do marketing based on whales like wagering competitions, this is much better because it actually gives people a chance to win something even if they are not super rich.

Actually, I've been participating on these contests before, that's not long ago, I was really active and trying to get some of the prize from the pool, sometimes I am lucky to be one of the winners, sometimes not. I paused participating since there were new faces that participated that just always winning together with those "old" guys that are really good on it, and my recent tries aren't that lucky, so I decided to paused even funding myself in gambling. I want to play again tho, because I enjoy everything about it.
