I can't find anything that would back up that pack of Marlboro costs 3$ at Moldova, but I can find multiple links for that it costs around 1.50$
If I would be him, I would probably sell them for this price as well, if people buys them, but I wouldn't lie about that how much I pay for them.

I don't understand why it's important to know how much he pays for a pack/carton. He sells a product for which I need to pay a lot more here and he makes a profit doing it, who cares how much he really pays? If you don't want to buy through him, buy it somewhere else.

I wouldn't care if he had a relative that owned a distribution business and he was selling the ones that were 'lost' every now and then. I live in NY where cigarettes are...
A) $13 per pack - Although to be fair I work in NJ where they are ONLY $8 per pack and I rarely buy in NY.
B) FSC's which are the standard in the entire US now.
In an act of admission bordering on stupidity, I will admit that if someone was standing in front of me with a carton of NON FSC's I would actually be willing to pay a PREMIUM over the NJ price for them so to be able to buy them at what amounts to almost half off is nothing short of a unicorn pooping a rainbow and the pot of gold landing directly in front of me.
The only things that would change my mind about becoming a customer of only for as long as I smoke and he sells would be if I either got ripped off, which does not seem to be the case here at all, or if when they arrive they are stale (yes cigarettes can and DO go bad).

Not as big as you might think, Marlboros are $3 per pack (retail price) in Moldova.
But I think they are really about 1.50$ at Moldova, as you can see from those links.
