It is no surprise that he is looking for another developer. His MO is to contract with someone asking for something specific and then once they start the work he piles on adding a bunch of new stuff saying it was all part of their deal and then refuses to pay.

I believe the creator has run into problems with his software dev.
He's now looking for a new one.
I wonder why?
I see he's on his other thread that was started (after his initial thread received a scam alert) stating that lots of people are making lots of money after his coin went from 0.0034 a week ago to 0.00005 today.
I wonder where he studied math?

This guy claims to have been working on this project for two years and now this?
After looking over this guys past, my guess is he woke up one morning last month looking for his latest scam.  Then he threw this together quickly fabricating a fake team with fake names, hoping to make a fast buck, and then leave everyone hanging. It looks like it backfired.
Now he's claiming to be mining on solar, but he shows he is mining from the back room of a store someplace. I find that hard to believe.
I'm beginning to think this guy lies more than he tells the truth.

It appears the Troy Reid's crypto coin DIYT coin is in yet another delay of some type. Apparently he is having more problems with his block chain which is taking days / weeks to repair.
It also looks like all the current miners have to download yet another wallet because that too is full of bugs. The source code still remains hidden so who knows what tricks are being played.
I have never seen so many problems with any other coin launch as this one and I don't have much confidence that it will ever become stable enough to become viable.

yeah, i remember this thread. actually, ive seen some of the videos posted in the first link when you searched his name. and he is really that person.
so maybe he realised that his move to post his full name was very wrong because his dirt comes out.  and boasting to have a clean record! lol
didnt know that he totally deleted his thread. so im assuming his project is about to eat the dust very soon.
his website is still up btw...

He is certainly a one of a kind person... that's for sure  (I am not sure the planet could bear 2 of that kind)

Here is a screenshot of his bitching and moaning about BitcoinTalk over at Cryptotalk

https://i.postimg.cc/vHxvB8tw/I606.png

Then after that he wonders why people hate his guts and he call them trolls for disagreeing with him.

That in itself should start to paint you a good idea of the character...
Unreal. Being harassed on You tube is normal? I don't believe anyone would harass him. Call him out on his lies perhaps.
How many You Tube creators have an entire website with hundreds of people warning others about the creator? I can't think of one.
True, Bitcoin is a forum to talk all about altcoins. That includes exposing those that are scammers trying to do people wrong. I guess he's just not happy when  he was exposed for the scammer he is.

I am hearing that the block chain for DIY Tube Coin is going to be replaced with a new block chain?
The guy has already reset the block chain once and he keeps making people download new wallets?
Apparently there are so many holes in the code that have to replace it?

Does anyone have information on this? The founder and CEO of DIYTube, Troy Reid seems to be missing in action and several of his threads are deleted.
None of this sounds promising.
I read someplace that he's not calling a "reset" this time, he's calling it a "fork."
Nice play on words.
Whatever he wants to call it. I'm calling it a "scam."
It appears that anytime things are not working in his favor, he resets, ignoring the whitepaper.
You are right. Total silence on this forum. I think that he knows he's been exposed, so he's moved on to a new mark.

I noticed this too. Not sure what the deal is but interested to find out.
It's weird. It was a very active thread, lot's of imput, then a scam alert and poof. He closed the thread down after deleting some of his posts.

After he doxxed himself and invited people to check out his squeaky clean background is when it went bad.
If he would have checked, the first seach result for his name is him and a convicted pedophile hanging out at his trailer...

You'd think a self proclaimed SEO expert would have checked this out first.. Wink

If I was part of that team I would't want my name associated with him. A sure fire way to wreck a career. But then again I would never sign up with him in the first place. To cagey for me.

Which one of you trolls started a thread saying his "team" quit?

Actually, although he claimed to have a team, he's the only one that listed his full name. One had his first name only, and I asked the creator several times to list the names of others he claimed that were in his team.
The rest were all pretend names.
I'm surprised he thought he could pull off such a scam.
I believe he was acting alone now.

I suppose if he was a respectable person he could come to this thread and point out anything being said that isn't true?

Unbelievable.
I noticed he made a post over on the "Will Crypto Boom Again" thread.
Not one mention of his coin anywhere and it looks like he changed his nic because he only has one post.
Why would someone change their nic?
I'd like to know for certain if this project has tanked. I thought about asking there, but I didn't want to go off topic.

What's his new name?

Also...

He added "Community" after "DYI Tube".
Thanks for that post. He claims he's not giving up, yet he closed down his thread.
Something doesn't add up.
I did read on another forum where he's bashing this forum to pieces.
I'm beginning to wonder if he blames others for his failures. He bashed You Tube for his failure, and now he's posting there again.
If I owned this forum, I wouldn't allow him back, to be honest. The man seems to be nothing but trouble.
I like this forum, and someday if I launch my own coin, I think this forum would be a great asset with the amount of traffic it has.
I don't get it. I'm just trying to figure out if his coin was a scam. It appears it was.

I did a Google search on Troy Reid and wow did a lot of stuff come back. It seems this guy is into all kinds of shenanigans.

It looks like he started out as some bum getting evicted from some place. I can't tell if it was an apartment or if this guy parked a camper trailer in somebody's parking lot. Looks like he was squatting and he had to find some place to haul his home. Apparently he found some elderly couple and they let him park it on their land.  There is a lot of history on this guy.
Have you seen his Bedhini wheels?  Roll Eyes

Is that his free energy device that he claims could run his whole house but only uses it to rejuvenate old junk yard scrap batteries? The same guy that says what a great deal his coin is and anyone buying it will get an instant ROI? The same guy that has so much faith in DIYCoin that he would rather mine it at loss instead of buying it for .0032 USD per coin?

Looks like he is back to posting on YouTube again. Funny thing though, he didn't post his own video on his platform. I really wonder what is going on with that guy.

What I don't get is the guy rails against his perceived injustice of YouTube and how great his video site is, and yet he doesn't bother to first post his videos on his own platform? I heard him say that DIY Tube video was going to be the world's greatest video platform of all time but forgets to put his videos there? I don't know. Sounds like the guy is a few cards short of a deck.

I just watched a video he made on You Tube.
What boggles my mind, is, this entire project was started because he claimed that You Tube did him wrong. So why would he be back there making videos? Did he lose faith in his own DYI Tube and his coin?
This coin has dropped to 0.0034 the last I checked.
He is trying to explain on his video the value of someone buying up the coins at such a low price, claiming that if someone buys them all, then the value will go up to 0.10 right away, Is he trying to scam people that don't know better?
I hope he will at least post here and explain the status of his coin and his project, rather than leave everyone hanging.
