Lazy investors that are chasing the profits and solely believe that crypto's are "rich-quick scheme" are the ones that must do this. They never do research when they are investing to an ICO or into coins that are being shilled by somebody to them.
The crypto market is full of coins that are totally worthless and gives no value to their investor, DYOR about the market and they must also open their minds about trading.

You are right, most people in crypto hardly do their due diligence, they also depend on peoples opinion to buy or invest into cryptos and when they lose their money, they will say crypto is scam.

Lately I have realized most people call crypto currency fraud because they chase green candles , news online before buying tokens.

The proper steps to take is to get the news, verify the source and Do Your Own Research
Then no one would fall into scam icos

Agree. In any kinds of investment, investors will have to do an extensive research. In crypto, the importance of doing our own research even doubles, as crypto is a new investment and technology arena.
On your last point, I also want to add that if we want to help crypto to flourish healthily, a proper DYOR will make people trust us, because the more investors are critical, the less scam ICOs will be. It's just a natural selection, in which bad ICOs will eventually perish, IMHO.

Could not agree with you more. A lot of people just want to get rich in an instant without doing anything. People should do their part also.

There are several reason why one should do his own research, first it helps you get a good grasp of what you are investing in,whether it suits your investment profile, secondly it helps you chose the projects that are likely to succeed, thirdly, it helps you eliminate the scam projects.

And also doing of research ensures that such a person does not end up in loss or pain or agony of bearish market
We need to make a lot of things right by doing research
It helps in Airdrop participation
It helps in bounty participation’s
It helps in day trading
And investments too

Agreed, but that is easier said than done. It's easier to do it in groups, because more people usually bring more wisdom together. It's very hard to do research on your own, there is so little time while crypto moves very quickly and demands a lot of daily energy to be put into it.

I think you are right, it’s not just about putting a team together for crypto research purposes
The problem is; it is difficult to handle man as an individual
And it will be difficult to control such group of profit minded people

Let’s individually make the researches

They did not have a clue about that, the majority of those people are called crypto as a scam were following FOMO and they have been getting trapped by the market itself. They have zero knowledge but they are trying to earn a huge money as fast as they can but they didn't even use their brain before try to start their journey at this market

Sometime, the green market is a trap of big sharks make to entice others to go into the market and they will exit when many people are cheated by growth. So, trading or investing on ICO all need the carefully research, let's not follow anyone, because maybe the introducer can be a big shark

Many people call crypto fraud, ponzi scheme, get-rich-quick syndrome, and whatever other names they call it because they know little or nothing about the market. It is important that you make researches for yourself and enlighten yourself with the right information and not just go about with the ideas of a random person. Also, make your own researches before you make your investments, this cannot be overly emphasized on.

Big factor is also the volume in the market, due to low volume most of the coins have lost value same is the case with icos most of them are failed to raise decent funds, it is really a tough time even the best researched and quality projects are not able to raise target funds, i hope this dry and dull phase will soon be over and market will be rich with volume soon.

Thank your for creating this topic, some people are just lazy to invest just a little time on researching on an ICO before investing time and money, No one is an island of knowledge of course, but before you take whatever anyone brings on the table, do your own research.  Trust me it's worth it. It will safe you time and stress on the long run.

The major step I always take is a proper research in the cryptos I intended to invest on of course there are so many of them out there, with due diligence and proper researches via google and other online sources I always have an edge in selecting the right token that has a prospect and the potential to pump for a longer period.

It is natural if they were buying an altcoin due to a upcoming news(or it still a rumor), and sell once the news is coming to this world.

Doing your own research is a must.  Far too many times, I see people just asking "which coins should i buy?" and then just dive in without any research.  This is not wise and could be a financial disaster.  Do your homework before buying anything, especially cryptocurrencies.

Yes you are right but I also believe doing research is not all about just icos and tokens
Even bounty hunters need to make researches before embarking on any project, it is not easy to market and make posts on social media’s or signature campaigns, so not only money can be wasted
Even time is a lot of money

So bounty hunters, make your research and support the right project

"Do your own research" is the best possible approach. I want to add that since bitcointalk is one of the best possible sources of information a good trick to know is to use google search inside bitcointalk.
For that you add the site name at the end of the query, like google for best legit ico 2018 site:bitcointalk.org
