You have made the best decision for your baby through bitcoin investment at early stage. This is what most parent don't know or think of. Setting up an investment for your children when they are young to prepare a better future for them. But first, since it's bitcoins, will you have the mind to hold on for a very long time before your child grows up? Secondly, you have to also train your child on bitcoin trading as he  is growing up. It will help build his knowledge on bitcoin so he can make good trading.

this is an interesting solution!I hadn't thought about it before. It will be cool if you continue to invest in the future of your child by systematically replenishing accounts and not only in cryptocurrency, then your child may have good capital by the age of majority that he can spend for his own benefit.

Few days back, I came across a post encouraging people to use the money well wishers gives to newly born babies and mothers as a gift  to invest in bitcoin for the baby,  then I was pregnant, just delivered 3rd of march. My baby and I has made up to $50 if converted just 10days after giving birth.  I am definitely going to use the money to invest in bitcoin this year for my baby so that in the next 18 years my baby will be proud of the decision I took for him.

Im so glad I discovered this platform this year, I believe I am going to achieve a lot from this forum

Below are lovely pictures of my cutie, my bundle of joy.🥰

A million hearty cheers to you for safe delivery and the joy of motherhood.its an amazing future plan you have mapped out for your child.interestingly, cryptocurrency can be an exciting investment opportunity.the returns on investment with BTC will far outweigh the interest gains on kiddies savings account in a bank for that long.you therefore have the responsibility to nurture and grow this asset for this child until he/ she comes of age then the wallet is transferred.you would still have to school the child growing up to become financially literate;to understand how skills like money management, budgeting and investment can be used to make effective financial decisions so as to avoid waste.having said that,it's also important to understand the risks you could face like price swings, fraud and lack of crypto insurance.but in all, every type of investment involves some level of risks.there are predictions of increase in the value and price of bitcoin in the near future.a good step you have taken as one could only wish the best for you

Bitcoin price in the next 18 years as to her stipulated time of selling the investment; before then, Bitcoin price would have really shown a high increment in price depending on her decision; she could really sell if the price goes so high and still buy it back more if it drops. That could also add to her holdings before ahe turns 18 years old.
Saving is a good habit that should be highly encouraged that is why I am happy that a mother is considering the future of her child. Most mothers like spending on clothing and other things but OP is just exceptional.

Her investment lifespan is eighteen years and as bitcoiners, we believe that the price would have increased to a substantial amount. But it is also important to inform the OP that Bitcoin is unpredictable so that she wouldn't be disappointed if the price doesn't get to the price she expects. I am also encouraging Op to still buy more bitcoin for her child through small personal savings, $50 is a good start but adding more might bring greater profitability. Congratulations.

If you are married and have children, you will realize that saving and taking care of children will be the top priority, parents will no longer have the habit of spending on unnecessary things but will focus all on their child's future.

Using bitcoin for savings instead of fiat is a welcome decision but I think the OP needs more knowledge. Because bitcoin is very volatile and 18 years is very long, if OP has no knowledge, I am afraid they will panic sell their bitcoins and not reach their goal. Knowledge is the only thing that can help them.

first, congrats on the birth of your baby, and I hope he is healthy and becomes a dutiful child to his parents, family, and those around him in the future.
It's a good decision to hold bitcoins for a very long period of time. all you need to do after that is store those private keys as best you can. because one of the hurdles in holding bitcoin long-term is its private keys. other than that, you might be able to add to those assets little by little. I think the risk of the investment you make is not big. besides that, the potential is also good. This can be very useful for your child when he grows up, and the bitcoin price has become very high. it would be a very useful gift for him.

First of all congratulations on your safe delivery indeed it's a thing of joy to be able to bring more lives into this world, I party and hope you find the strength, grace, and resources needed for taking good care of the baby.

I believe the move that you have made is very good, an early investment if well taken care of could result in a bountiful result. Now that you have been able to invest $50 I'm sure that with time you will still have some spare cash which you could also add to the investment and by that, you could even increase the result of your investment.
I will also advise that you take a look at how to securely store your coins since you're going for a long-term investment,  you can also use a cold wallet if you're unable to afford a hardware wallet.

If I'm not mistaken, I think you are the only one who is actually doing it and everyone seems happy to see your progress in the future, we hope no one can stop you from doing it and you will be successful with your baby.

Most people who made such decisions where they put lots of effort into investing in bitcoins with motivations are successful last time I heard is the guy who gave up buying cigarettes just to save his money to buy bitcoins and it pays well for him since he actually managed to witness the great bull run so far.

This is the first time I've seen something so wonderful, the question is, will you strive to save this much bitcoin for your child till he gets 18? Will you be able to preserve it for that long? The timing is just too long, and maintaining money is difficult, but if you manage to do so, you will have accomplished an incredible feat. At this time, you should learn more about bitcoin it will really be of help to you in this amazing journey.

Even though you are already happy about the birth of your child, I think it is not necessary to display a photo of your baby in full because this is a public space for fear that the photo will be misused by irresponsible people.

I think it's great that you are so confident about investing in bitcoin for your child's future, but you have to think about the risks and other kinds of hurdles however normally the need for a baby is very great unless you can cover that need from other income and when it grows up.

I think OP realizes that $50 invested will not make a child a millionaire in the future. Of course, any child needs more than $50 (even taking into account the future price growth of btc), and relying only on this amount would be naive. This can be regarded more as a pleasant bonus.

In almost 20 years, these $50 can increase many times over, and if you constantly add to this figure, then as a result you can get a very good bonus by the 18th birthday.

Of course, there are risks, but $50 now, is it such an impressive amount, the loss of which will be fatal?

First of all congratulations to you for having the most beautiful gift in your life and can feel how much happy you must be at this time.It is really good thought to save for your children at an early age so they have something with them when they grow up to aid them financially. We give them lot of gifts but these things are on which we should focus more along with the gifts.By the time he will be 18 the btc will surely be in very profitable stage if everything goes in favour as can't say anything with surety but yes it's right decision you have made as a parent.

First of all, learn to use the image icon on the dashboard, but I will so much appreciate you for your efforts toward your newly born baby, it's a pleasure to have a caring mother like you on this forum,  it shows that you want the best for your child, but can you hold the coin for more than 15 to 16 years?
Because that is the best time to present the present to your child and for your child to know about bitcoin investment early it will help him expensively in the future.

If you are going to hodl for next 18 years then damn consider your kid as rich amongst his teen friends at the time. That’s gonna be blessings for your child for sure. However, please note that you should be very alert while hodling considering it’s huge Timeline  up ahead. Usually pees get fade up with the hodling due to circumstances such as high prices where greed wakes up while on the other than when bitcoin drops a lot then it’s about loosing fiat valuation thus making it uncomfortable while hodling. Just make sure you use cold storage and Never look back at it. Congratulations for your birth and hope your kid sees best days of crypto in the future after 18 years.
Back in the day it was quite common to do something similar to this but with gold, but due to many circumstances this custom has been lost around the world, and it would be nice if now people saved bitcoin instead, as without a doubt over such a long period of time it should become incredibly valuable.

Still holding bitcoin for that long will be a problem, since after such a long time it is likely that recovering those coins will be difficult unless the OP kept on top of things during all of those years.

Of course your initiative is very nice. But you need to see if the money you invest in Bitcoin is the money you need. Because you have said that you will keep your invested money until your child turns 18. I don't know if that will be possible, I don't even know if you have the patience to hold on for so long. But if you are investing your nessesary money there, I would say you are wrong.Because taking care of your baby is more important now than 18 years from now. So first fulfill your family needs then invest extra money here and keep for your child till 18 years. Remember that for this investment money, your family should never be short of money.

Congratulations on the birth of your little one. You are a great parent & your baby is very lucky to have a caring, responsible parent. Planning for your child's future should make you proud, you are doing it all for them. I tip my hat to you.

Try to keep adding to the money you have converted to bitcoin. We all know that in 18 years bitcoin will be worth a lot more than it is now. You are doing the right thing, well done.
I just wish more people did that for themselves as well. We all know that if you have a baby and start putting in money into bitcoin until they are 18, by the time they are 18 that money will worth a ton of value and you would have a very rich kid, you would be doing something amazing for the kid and you need to never cash that out of course, and there is a goal, 18 years old, when they are a grown up basically and can run on their own feet.

However, when it comes to saving money for 18 years just for yourself, for your retirement and old age, not many people do it and I do not have any clue why they do not do it. I think they should be able to do that as well and they are missing a chance.

Honestly, it's a good idea, and I've seen many people do this. But the thing is, it's a very long period of time, and during that time, we will be very easily tempted by the price of bitcoin or will panic when bitcoin plunges every time bear season comes. Accumulating bitcoin during the bear season and selling during the bull season, a period of only 3 to 4 years that many people have not done, 18 years is indeed a much more arduous journey.

I love this idea and will talk to my wife about saving bitcoins for my 2 kids. But what worries me, as I said, is it's too hard to hold on for long, it's really too hard.

Congratulations on the birth of your baby.

It is a good decision to use bitcoin as an investment for your baby because later when he grows up, he can use bitcoin for his own needs.

But it's not going to be easy to keep hold of your bitcoins for 18 years but I know you can do it for your baby. And you will try harder so you can have more bitcoins. You and your baby are very lucky to have bitcoin as your investment and make sure your baby gets the best for his life.

congratulations on the birth of your daughter, very happy indeed, is this your first child?
investing is the same as saving, but the question is your target until the child is 18 years old, I'm sure there will be many obstacles along the way, I hope you are consistent with your goals, btw 50 $ is a pretty big value in my country to give to someone baby
once again good luck to you
