Is there anyway to offer dynamic pricing based on market prices of bitcoins (in USD).

MyBitcoin's merchant API supports this.

I have a number of stores with good page rankings as well.  I would LOVE to accept bitcoin on them and start appealing to the bitcoin market.  You don't have to give me a btc award either.  Heck I'll donate to the cause of awarding people for getting places to accept bitcoin.

What I DO need, however, is someone to offer me a little guidance in setting up a bitcoin payment module.  Is there anyway to offer dynamic pricing based on market prices of bitcoins (in USD).  I sell some large expensive goods that there isn't a huge margin on (and I would like to offer bitcoin people a better deal than they would find in USD normally).  In fact a lot of places have minimum advertised price agreements, but it doesn't aply to bitcoin so I COULD offer some incredible prices.

I'm just trying to figure out either A) I have to go in and manually edit prices fairly often based on the market or B) have something that changes the prices for me and allows me to sell bitcoins back for USD after I make a sale (I can do the selling manually).

I currently use zencart and CRE loaded, although I also use 3Dcart (proprietary) for other sites.

Can anyone help?  A PM would be very helpful.

Every saint has a past. Every sinner has a future.
I will try to convince the owner of http://accessfirefox.org/ to accept BitCoin donations - he's a good friend of mine and I help him out with technical issues for his site. The site focuses on accessibility features and add-ons for Firefox - the owner himself is visually impaired, yet still managed to build that site!

If there is still a bounty for convincing sites to accept bitcoins, I will donate it to AccessFirefox or ask it to be donated directly to AccessFirefox.

Unfortunately the site has a pagerank of 0, so no bounty. Still, thanks for your effort.

Nope, it has Pagerank of 6.

Oops, sorry! I have used some other website than usual (because http://www.prchecker.info/check_page_rank.php was down) to check the pagerank - I thought they were all using the same reference. Apologies man, I shall transfer the bounty straight away.

I come bearing terrible news. CoinCard, the anchor that tied Bitcoin to reality for normal people, has shut down (the PayPal part anyway). See here. Sad

You'll have to rethink your pitch if you considered making CoinCard a part of it.

I've just paid out to chmod775 and ploum. I think I'm going to withdraw my pledge at this time.

I'd actually prefer to be part of a bounty that would pay out to the organization which began accepting Bitcoin, rather than the individual that brought it to their attention. If anyone starts such a thing, let me know.

I will try and convince epicmealtime dot com to accept btc for their merchandise, they don't seem to have a PR score, but still, they have so much visibility lately that it would be good.

I will try my best @ shinjiru.com! This is a big hoster in malaysia which offers anonymous hosting. Bitcoin would be perfect! Edit: Pagerank is 5!

That's great. Just keep in mind this is not eligible for the 125 BTC because it is not a physical good.

If this is still going on, I'll have a ton of sign ups. Working on a mass donations platform. Bitcoin is the beginning of a renaissance. Revolution rhetoric is stale and unproductive. We're going to reclaim, restore, and rebuild.
