GREAT NEWS!

We reached a new loss from ATH record!

Who purchased BET fantasy tokens 23 September 2019 lost 50%! Cheesy

All-Time-High (ATH) Price
$ 0.149 (23 Sep 2019)
Ƀ 0.0000149 (23 Sep 2019)
Ξ 0.000716 (23 Sep 2019)
From ATH: -50.0%

Source: https://cryptorank.io/currencies/eos-bet-token/price-chart

This is huge!

You DO realize that anyone buying any coin on ATH is on the loss? The hint should be within the concept of the whole acronym. If this is the only fud you got left, you are doing pretty poorly.
Are you mentally ill?

After an ATH was hit, the next ATH can be hit if the price increases further and so on!

But this fantasy token lost 50% of its purchase price after an ATH was hit and this confirms that something shady is going on behind the scenes!  Cheesy

Since, it is a gambling platform and the chain is used for gambling I don't see any reason to use it anything other than gambling itself (and of course investment) but if you want to you can still use it.

The best part of the chain is that its totally out of teams hands, there is no trust required by any parties because it literally automatically decides the outcome and you don't have to trust the team to pay you somehow, it will be paid no matter what automatically as well and your wallet will have the money right away if you win. That is why we talked about how decentralized this website is for longest time, I mean in any other place even if its a huge place, you have to trust the casino owners, here you don't have to, its all open source and decentralized.

Question: How is the amount of BET that you get calculated if you deposit an altcoin like ETH? Do you even get any BET tokens at all? Is that an EOS specific thing?

I like the fact that the bettor can be the house. I've also seen potentially some guerilla marketing campaigns done by EOSBet on this forum to try to attract more people.

1.5% house edge on dice isn't really that attractive given that major casinos all only have 1%, though.

You don't get BET by just depositing, you need to wager. Play in the casino. For every 20 EOS, you get about 1BET. Keep playing the more EOS the more BET you will get. Or better yet buy some in NEWdex or Binance DEX, its where its listed. Not sure if bettor becomes the house here, there is no banker's bull in EOSBET but you get dividends for holding BETs.

You can, basically you send the tx to the same account as the interface does with the memo in the same way the interface does. I've done it before (only for Dice though)
Thank you,

I just tried and yes we can play the dice game directly from EOS wallet. It's easy! Sent minimum 0.05 EOS to account eosbetdice11 with memo xx--
xx is the "roll under" so it should be 02-96;
-- is referral, for example -user1234- if he is your referral. *CMIIW (just guessing, since I couldn't find documentations)

I tried with memo 96-- and it worked!

If we take into account that prices in the market at this time are low, having accumulated EOS will be beneficial, even having Bitcoin on the platform may be better, the updates they have made and worked to provide a better service, I think the value of them will increase in the near future, I have personally bought some of the tokens, I guess the team will take into account the effort by the players who believe in their project and in the future they can give them some VIP memberships.

With the recent drops on bitcoin we once again saw the importance of passive income, you may think dividends are not passive incomes but they are in fact passive incomes that create a good amount of return for your investment constantly instead of letting you hope that one day you will make money.

At one hand you can buy coins right now because they are low but at the same time you can buy bet tokens, get dividends in eos and maybe keep hoping that eos would go up that way, you would both have bet tokens that might increase in value, have eos that might increase in value plus you would get dividends which means extra money. I am not saying this is a better method than buy bitcoin and hodl, that is your own decision but its always great to have some sort of alternative if you ever feel like changing sides.

@EOSBet or anyone,
I think I have read somewhere stated that players can interact with EOSBet smart contract without using the site's interface. Is this correct?
Let's say simply send a transaction to the eosbetdice11 with [x-number] EOS and [y-text] memo.
Where can I find the source about this topic? Thanks.

You can, basically you send the tx to the same account as the interface does with the memo in the same way the interface does. I've done it before (only for Dice though), don't know about the other games, but my guess it's the same for every game since it's 100% on-chain the smart contract does not see a difference. Every transaction send (in the right format) to the contract is a bet for the contract and acts accordingly.

I can't believe this discussion is continuing. Guys you are talking about two different things. Most of the casinos are off-chain like stake and primedice and all other big ones, dudes run it like you put your money in the casino, bet and leave. Only satoshidice when it first started made it with on bet chain. Sure you can use seeding but that doesn't mean its on the blockchain that just means it gets help.

Right now eosbet is doing amazing stuff with multiple places you can buy and sell bet token maybe we should focus on that, how many places do you really know that you can be part owner of a casino and not even care about the team, it is technically powering people and that worth a lot, investors could own %50+ of the tokens available which means more than the team that built it itself.

It is not even 44% in this instance, they probably get some dividends.
My bad!

The cents you get as dividend will of course compensate the 50% investment loss! Roll Eyes

Well it's still the most fair fair out there. Non of the other ones I've seen have open sourced their code, I have not seen any statistic analysis of any other casino, but this one. Even a code review by Hacken was done.

I think EOSBet goes a long way in terms of being trustworthy compare to others. Also a lot of other blockchain casino's are not actually on-chain. They only use the blockchain for deposit/withdraw, but the games are off-chain. Also a lot of blockchain casino's have no license to be a casino, while EOSBet does has that license. Never seen 1 other casino that ticks every box of the above mentioned except EOSBet.

Can you give me some examples of these casinos, most of i've seen are publicly on the chain. Then again i might have not visited some smaller ones.

Rather not promote other casino's here, but lets turn this around, can you give me an example of a casino that does check all boxes?

What? You don't want to give out any fake blockchain casinos that are not in blockchain,
because you don't want to promote them, even though they wouldn't be in a same league or a competition.
But you do want me give actual promotion in this thread for the true competition? How does this make sense?

I think some healthy competition isn't all that bad to be honest, but if you know one and don't want to post here, I respect that. My point was I'm convinced there isn't any, so you couldn't even if you wanted to  Tongue

It is not even 44% in this instance, they probably get some dividends. Sure, they might be down but think about it this way, if you buy bitcoin and the price drops, you lost as much as the price drop, if you buy bet token and price drops, you lose price drop minus dividend payment you received.

GP tries to not focus on the dividend part of the deal, his two approach has been "price dropped!!" and "any proof anyone got dividends", both of which are quite silly, price drops in almost all first day of trading, if you look at it from I don't know second or third day then you will see that its not doing that bad plus gets dividends. The "proof of anyone got dividends" is even more silly, the blockchain is literally public, he could check himself but he wants people to show that they own that address and nobody would want to be DOX'd like that just because GP asked for it.

Are you sure you know what on-chain and off-chain means? Most of the huge casinos like primedice/stake/windice/wolf.bet and all the ones you can think of (the very first starting with just-dice) all have been off-chain, on-chain is no longer something that exists and people do not use it, back in the day there was satoshidice which was the first one and that made some noise but at the end of the deal there was really no more on-chain gambling after just-dice started.

On-chain means you send money to blockchain and it comes back as a win with your money or lose and keeps your money, off-chain is the one we send deposits to casinos and we gamble and gamble and gamble but then withdraw, which means there is no waiting for the bets since they are off-chain.

Yes I know what on-chain and off-chain means and EOSBet is 100% on-chain. Which if you ask me is a good thing. Some might not care, but I think enough people do. Specially since back in the old days the blockchains (BTC, ETH ect.) available could not deliver a good user experience when they were 100% on-chain, because they are simply too slow. The EOS blockchain however is almost instant there has a good chance to convey people into using a 100% decentralized casino on-chain without giving in on the UX.
