We can pay for uber rides with bitcoin?!?! How do we do that? You have to set up your payment method prior to the ride... I didn't know bitcoin was an option!

And how about earning opportunities for a few people to earn millions, rather than millions of people earning a fe BTC, any ideas?

I hope to see this too.  It is sort of a catch 22, we won't see wages in bitcoins until we have wider adoption, but paying in bitcoins would make for wider adoption.  It seems to be getting some nice media attention with the  Greece thing, so you never know what is on the horizon.
This is my hope for the outcome of the Greek situation. They can't really buy BTC because they can't really get their hands on cash. Thief best option is to accept BTC for payment of goods and services, which will in turn enter the ecosystem when spent.
We still need a huge injection of BTC into Greece in the first place. Too bad TBF is useless as it is corrupt and bankrupt. They could have sparked a revolution.

Sounds like a good idea, I think there was a subreddit that had you do jobs for btc as well. Maybe combine them together and get a twitter rally going?

I forgot to mention that https://www.bitwage.co/ offers this option to many. Although it's only for stable payrolls in developed countries...

Great find there i didn't know there was already something like that out, look like bitwage is a pretty cool tool for payrolls, so mostly likely for companies that want to go decentralized with their payrolls this would be a great choice.

On the seller side, it’s business as usual. Revenue is earned and withdrawn in US dollars. The option to withdraw revenue in Bitcoin is currently not available on Fiverr.

it would be pretty interesting to see that happen, more bitcoin interested people will be posting on fiverr.

how hard can it be to offer the option of Bitcoin withdrawals/payments?

Not really hard, we have BitPay.
And people just set their address for WD to their wallet.

If we can get just these 4 to do Bitcoin payouts for contractors, it will give access to millions worldwide to earning BTC. Anyone with a house, a car or able to work will be able to #EarnBitcoin.
This is a great idea, and I can imagine that

The payment processors are already in contact with these companies and have been offering the option to receive Bitcoin payments... how hard can it be to offer the option of Bitcoin withdrawals/payments?
It's not that hard, because we have BitPay  Wink

Breaking traditions, the false trustworthyness of the banking system and change closed minds who stopped in time is pretty hard Wink But we'll get there soon.

It is already easy to spend BTC. It is becoming easier to buy and sell BTC.

To close the cycle and have a real Bitcoin economy we really need some way for millions of people to be able to earn BTC.

Thankfully there is a simple way to achieve that:

https://www.fiverr.com/   millions of gigs, already takes Bitcoin for funding (via Coinbase)

https://www.uber.com    Over 1 million drivers worldwide      (works with Braintree/Paypal)

https://www.airbnb.com/  34.000 cities, over 1 million listings (works with Braintree/Paypal)

https://www.freelancer.com/  15 million users. 8 million projects. (works with Paypal)

If we can get just these 4 to do Bitcoin payouts for contractors, it will give access to millions worldwide to earning BTC. Anyone with a house, a car or able to work will be able to #EarnBitcoin.
