Again, they never even responded to our inquiries for units  ... . . So I'd look at other units as well.

... I will use your post as guideline, I don't want to jump to conclusions but seems, apart from Ebang, that my choices are between Innosilicon T3-39/43 and Bitmain S15.

Thanks again for your time guys!

Do not forget about the Whatsminers made by microBT. One excellent distributor of them is Pangolinminer.com. Very efficient and so far very few reports of problems with the M10-31 and 33T versions. Those who had issues were promptly taken care of by Pango. Their newest are the M20's running 48T, 58T and 72T but unfortunately a fairly long lead time for them.

To tell the truth, given the reported reliability and support history of the previous Ebang miners I would not touch them with a 10-foot pole...

if it's not scam, then  it's a rip off at best case scenario, you going to pay 3100$ for a 44th miner ?

i understand you are in EU zone, so power price is well over 5 cents , you are looking at 1.5 years to roi.

let alone the bad quality these guys are known for.

please do some math before jumping in like that.

First of all, thank you for the answer, I have been years out of anything which can be called ''forum'' and I almost forgot how pleasant is to have the possibility to share experience and opinions with the other online.

Actually i would be to naive to buy at that price from them. Even if Ebang E11 ++ ''seems'' to have and efficiency around 50 J/TH.

My current price of electricity is 0,075 $/kWh for the first year starting from June 2019, so for me the efficiency rate of the hardware is the most important thing at the moment.

McGordy.

No one knows if these units ever shipped to anyone or if there will actually be a delivery on them. I would be checking with Ebang before anything, if for no other reason than to confirm you would have warranty for that gear if purchased through a reseller. Next how did you find these resellers you checked with? if you've never done business with them I would hold off and do more research on them before sending cash. During the last run there were "reseller" popping up every day looking super legit, ripping people off.

Mikeywith makes a great point about the price you were quoted as well. You would be much better off buying any of the current gear out there, even with the pre-order wait times. Check out this list for some gear you might want to take a look at.

Current list of Competitive Hardware

So it's clear that I have to do more research about the manufacturers in this sector, and actually the best thing is try to buy directly from them as i understood.

All my doubts are given by the fact i always worked as a middle-man and ''sales manager'' when i used to own my smallish company, but from what i can learn day by day this sector seems to be poor from what concerns the ''entrepreneurial ethics''.

I will use your post as guideline, I don't want to jump to conclusions but seems, apart from Ebang, that my choices are between Innosilicon T3-39/43 and Bitmain S15.

Hey guys,

i asked to three resellers (about actually i don't have warranties on the fact that they're are more or less legit) to quote me a price of a number of 50 units.
Just one of them answered me with this:

Quote
We will be happy to delivery of 50 pieces Ebang E11++ 44TH/S Bitcoin miner & PSU to your address in ######.

Normal price: 50 x  € 2950 = €  147.500
Insured Express shipping with Track & Trace: € 5.000
Total: 152.500

Discounted price: 50 x € 2750 = € 137.500
Insured shipping with Track & Trace: Free
Total: € 137.500

We expect to send these miners the first week of April to ######, the miners will first arrive in the Netherlands, we pay all customs duties, after verifying all miners, we will send the miners to your country within 24 hours.

Does that price can be considered as legit?

The aforementioned reseller is: https://miners.nl

The other two, from which i haven't received an answer yet, are: https://miningwholesale.eu and https://bitech-mining.com

Does someone already have done deals with one of them?

I thought I would check in on the site nothing has changed from what I can tell pricewise. I couldn't find anything on anyone having received any of these units, I did email them to see if there had been any shipped or if there were any reviews of the products. There ++ model would be competitive in cost/TH to the S15  (excluding coupons) and likely be sold out as well, if they could produce some proof this series has shipped and works.

A few notes are:

That the E11 and E11+ are sold out, and the it appears the "+" model had a MOQ of 50 units. These units have a ship date of March 31st. (All models say this generically in the details.)
The ++ is still in stock and has a shipping date of April 30th as advertised in the title.

Nope. I lost track of this unit since zero reply, and only was interested in since it "should" be more efficient than the T3 coming. I don't even know if they delivered on their Jan release either as web shows March now.

We just like to have options for clients but still vetting is very important. I won't get on a soap box here about getting PR out for products but looks like S15 (reliability?), T15, m10 31T are best till the T3 is released. Which I think you have mostly covered in your mine.

Nothing. Mind you i stopped hunting down manufacturers for product. If they cant be bothered to out in some effort for sales or community PR, then I'll do the same.

So i went with a manufacturer that delivers, and couldnt be happier atm.

Did you ever get more than a form letter generic response?

Just checked in with the site and here is where they stand. Looks like shipping has been moved back unless there is already a batch of pre-orders for January, but I must admit I haven't been following them.

3 series of Miner all shipping February 28 in the title - Generic details say the 15th. I put them all here for now, as opposed to a different thread for every+ they ad. If the miners turn out to be fundamental different in some way then maybe they need their own thread.

E11      -> 30TH/S w/ PSU 1110$  65W/TH

E11+    -> 37TH/S w/ PSU 1517$  55W/TH

E11++  -> 44TH/S w/PSU  2024$  45W/TH

Unfortunately they have so little information I'm not sure what they are doing to achieve the different hashrates/efficiencies. That's the only thing that really changes from page to page. I have emailed them for some information about that as well as the PSU they are including.

I also couldn't find anything about a MOQ, I put 1 in the cart just fine, but I didn't bother to create an account to move beyond that. The total and quantities did show properly for 1 unit.

Theyre not allowing any pre-orders either for the next batch, so it appears to be pointless for them to even have these products listed on their site. Who knows if anyone outside of the great wall receives them.
