Many are now wondering what to do to prevent such situations from happening again.
This situation is unquestionable, it would be nice to keep trying as much as possible. although there are several obstacles due to the pandemic. If we are able to overcome this with the effort put in, I think we will all have a good pandemic season.
I believe the government is looking for the best solution to overcome this pandemic.

I think our economy after COVID-19 Is slowly recovering If our Government they gonna do a better plans on how to recover our economy. Look at our economy now many companies are bankrupt many people lose their job and they desperate to have a job I wish after this pandemic our country and economy are slowly recovered
Despite the economic improvements after the pandemic, I think it will be a good start for everyone choosing business in the critical world. because this is driven when the pandemic conditions hit many people move to invest.
Even so, after this pandemic, people have lost their jobs and some have even been fired because they are unable to pay workers due to the reduced supply of consumers.

If there's a complete cure for covid 19 in the mere future, the economy will soon rise again because right now due to pandemic the production rate of all products has been reduced that lead to lack of supply that cause a huge drop on our economy, and if the restrictions(social distancing, quarantine, lockdown and etc..) have been lifted the shortage of production rate will again increased due to increased in man power.
As for the banks I think they won't face any problem on that because they can easily change Fiat to digital or vise versa due to the help of the government and the society itself.
I think that we should not hope for a complete cure from covid-19 in the near future, because this is a question of mass vaccination, and this is purely organizational and technically difficult to solve in the next few months on a large scale, and it also depends on the conditions in the state itself, how the population is distributed.

Much better to have a complete cure as it will fasten the recovery, your point is valid but people sacrifices are already heavy, so having the cure will

give them good hope to continue surviving, Government in the other hand are capable of budgeting the country's fund in order to implement the cure

to each citizen that they have, the quicker they do the better as confidence to go out and start everything as how normally been done will be seen in

each part of the country.

With the ever-increasing need for social distancing, people are recurring to online payments and e-commerce sites. The longer it takes to find a cure for the disease, the faster our world will change economically. During the pandemic, people will be using credit/debit cards more than physical cash itself. It's no wonder since physical cash is known to carry germs and bacteria with them.

Now, imagine an scenario where the cure for COVID-19 have been found while people are directly attached to the online world. The economy might never be the same as before, since people will start to value intangible items over tangible ones more thoroughly. A world where everything is digitized or "tokenized" seems to be the economy of the future. By then, each country will have its own CBDC living alongside traditional cryptocurrencies we know and love today. China might be the first country to launch a CBDC, followed by the US and several other countries. The launch of government-backed digital currencies wasn't a subject that heavily touched by world leader before the pandemic. Now that coronavirus encourages social distancing, things will accelerate quite a bit in the development of CBDCs for the whole world to use.

How do you think the economy will be after COVID-19's demise? Will it gradually recover? Or will it stay the same? Will central banks collapse to a point where only people transact with decentralized cryptocurrencies in the free world? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Smiley

Covid-19 is still spreading all over the world. For this reason, economy can't run properly. Some country can't perform well for their fragile economy system. Nothing to do but we have ti cope up with this. Vaccine is still in human trial and still we are hoping for the best to see the world in a new form like before. Then the economy will run properly and the world will recover soon to go back with the previous consequence. So it can be said that after covid-19, economy will be fully recovered for consequent surge of previous flow.

Exactly. There needs to be a vaccine or cure before we can talk about the recovery of the economy in the mainstream world. Without healthy workers, a nation's economy cannot be restored to its former glory. Unfortunately, governments are desperate in these times of turmoil. This will lead them towards making many decisions that will affect many people worldwide. As long as chaos persists, the economy won't be going anywhere. If the damage is very deep, the economy might never stand on its ground again. Luckily, crypto and Blockchain tech come to the rescue as they prove to be a viable alternative against the current monetary system. Bitcoin has already been proven to be quite resilient in times of need. If the mainstream economy collapses, the decentralized economy will continue to live on its own. Still though, everything revolves around Fiat currencies. Without Fiat on the top, crypto will have a hard time being an independent type of currency for the whole mainstream world to enjoy.

Given that we're still in a period of uncertainty, anything could happen in the following months. The more the pandemic lasts, the deeper the economy will sink. What matters is people's health more than anything else. Once there's immunity against COVID-19, then it'll be easy to go back to normal. Let's hope that pharmaceutic companies develop a safe and effective vaccine to shorten the lifespan of COVID-19 in the mainstream world. Just my thoughts Grin

Economy after covid-19 will go to be great.
Since covid-19 came, many people find it difficult to carry out their activities well as usual due to the lockdown on ground. Many countries economy was collapsed because of the virus that is taking citizens life in the country. Many lost their their job because of the pandemic which the government are happy about what is going on in the country. With the announcement by the government concerning the damages the covid-19 has caused during the pandemic show the government will do everything possible to make the economy great again.

Masks are not that expensive. The cheapest ones are available from $0.20 onwards. So there is no truth in claiming that people are not buying masks, because they can't afford it. On top of that, a lot of governmental and non-governmental agencies are providing masks for free. Loss of jobs has been a major issue during this pandemic. But then, job losses happen all the time (although on a much smaller scale), and we need to be always prepared for it. We need to build up our savings, when we have the job.
not using masks today is just an excuse because you don't want to wear them (mask) anymore..  In many countries, the focus of the government is on how to revive the jobs that have been lost due to this "PANDEMIC".  Until the end of this year, we will not see a normal economy (like before COVID-19) because the public careless of the spread of COVID-19 has increased..

A person should still have a healthy body to work. If you understand the conditions when COVID comes, then the most affected are workers who have dropped out of work. They are forced to be unemployed because the economic conditions of many companies have experienced a drastic decline.

This labor force slowly began to feel economic difficulties, so slowly began to need money and chose to eat instead of buying masks.

Exactly. If there's no health, there's no economy. But, mainstream governments don't see it this way. They prefer to sacrifice millions of lives in exchange of keeping the economy alive. Rest assured that this negligent decision will further deepen the crisis in the mainstream world. Until governments start taking action against COVID-19 by performing a "lockdown", things will not get better. Of course, critics will say that the "lockdown" will harm the economy. But I say that people's health is much more important than the economy. Without healthy people, there won't be any economy whatsoever. Given that governments have been reluctant to enable a "lockdown", COVID-19's duration in the mainstream world will be greatly extended.

After a vaccine is found, we're going to have to wait a while for COVID-19 to disappear from the face of this Earth. Only then, the economy will be restored to the way it was prior to the pandemic. In the bright side, COVID-19 will allow us to embrace the latest technologies for our daily lives. Remote jobs (telework), telemedicine, and virtual conferences have become the norm during the pandemic. It'll be the new normal even after the demise of COVID-19 in the mainstream world. As with any pandemic, the economy will go down the drain at a fast pace. After that, everything will recover at a slow and steady phase. No matter what happens with the economy during and after COVID-19, Fiat and crypto will be here to stay for many generations. Just my opinion Smiley

What do you really mean by home industry?
In developing countries, many small and medium businesses are done from home such as the snack industry, the garment industry, the detergent making industry, the handicraft industry, the street food stalls, the cooking equipment manufacturing. Usually small and medium industries are not affected by the recession. But it is different when the corona pandemic occurs with the lockdown hitting the demand line reaching the street vendor sector.

In this corona condition, all parties are affected, but the most affected are the poor people who can only rely on direct government cash assistance and a helping hand from generous people. While the health industry is indeed the vanguard in the war against the corona pandemic, but the health sector is the sector that receives the most attention from the government and also volunteers at this time given the importance of this line to cover the dark episode of the pandemic.

Some countries and some companies will survive but most of the countries will have a recession, these countries are those coming from third world countries and those with very high numbers of infected.
After the corona ends, the form of the economy cannot be ascertained considering the predicted end of a pandemic. Because after all the pandemic is a burden on the state budget. Therefore many countries have begun to reopen their economies even though the corona pandemic fire has not yet ended. The longer the lockdown, the longer the market is closed, and the longer the activity ban is imposed, the passion and ability to consume will decrease. even though in the midst of the global supply chain breaking up, domestic consumption is the only mainstay of the government to turn the economy.

With this strategy, the government also hinted that economic reopening is not all back to where it was before the pandemic took place but there are a series of regulations that must be obeyed and the government surrenders to the community, following regulations in the hope of survivors or ignoring regulations with choices ending in death.

Illness has accelerated the closure of some businesses, and fear of unemployment has become the trendiest topic of the year. However, some industries have bucked the trend of growth during this epidemic. Vaccine companies, and detergent manufacturers have received a lot of money. Even water softeners have seen sales increase with the quarantine policy. In fact, part of it is stockpiling. The best known advertisement for water softener is probably the ancient Chinese secret detergent. The demand for it increased significantly during the epidemic. https://www.mdhist.com/plebeian/4010/

I don't think that vaccine will have any impact. Yesterday I was watching the statement from Dr. Robert Redfield, who is the head of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. He was saying that a vaccine won't be available to the general population before the third quarter of next year. So what are we going to do for the next 12 months? I believe that most of the countries and territories will be able to achieve herd immunity, long before any of the vaccines become available at the market.

Probably. If we reach heard immunity, then a vaccine could wait. The important thing is to minimize COVID-19's impact in the mainstream economy. Once the disease weakens, we can expect the economy to go back on track. The recovery will be certain, albeit at a slow and steady pace. Right now, we're living in a period of uncertainty as there's no proven cure or treatment against the novel coronavirus disease. With many people dying, we cannot expect the economy to keep moving forward. On the contrary, it'll continue to decline until it becomes worse than "The Great Depression". The US has been the severely-impacted country in the world by COVID-19. With the USD being the reserve currency of the world, the decaying American economy affects other countries as well. Crypto's unprecedented rise, has raised the attention of governments and central banks alike. It's today where many countries around the world have announced the launch of CBDCs of their own. In a post-COVID world, the economy will be completely "digitized" leaving physical cash out of the equation. Everything will go back to normal but not exactly the way it was before the dreaded coronavirus disease.

Nonetheless, time will tell us how our economy will behave after COVID-19. The longer the disease takes to fade into oblivion, the longer it'll take for our economy to recover. If the economy gets severely impacted by the pandemic, it might get to a point where there's no recovery whatsoever. Let's hope that the vaccine or herd immunity comes first in order to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Just my opinion Smiley

After the economic collapse of the covid-19 period. There will be a lot of fast growing businesses. The introduction of vaccines will mark the end of the pandemic.

Yes as the economy is hurting many companies are closing down their companies in which case many people will become unemployed to lay off workers. Lack of adequate work will lead them to financial crisis which will lead to many difficult situations to survive including their livelihood it is not possible to stop the spread of the epidemic until the vaccine is available.

The effects of the epidemic are not over yet In that case Economy after COVID-19 is difficult to say at what stage the economy will go after COVID-19. The effects will not end until the vaccine is available control is actually increasing again. The virus is re-emerging in China after the virus the economy will improve a little but everything is starting anew to open everything.
Agree, vaccine is the key to all of the economy crisis. Some are now stable but once another pandemic that is biologically related to COVID appeared, it will be another chaos. As long as there is a global economy crisis, it will not go back to the stable economy.

I think it will be a VERY long recovery as COVID-19 has triggered the largest global economic crisis in decades. So many businesses depend on each other in the modern economy and so many of them suffer + so many money has been printed, which will trigger further inflation, so it will take years to return to a normal economic environment. This is positive to Bitcoin, though, taking into account its deflationary economic model and censorship-resistance.

It'll be hard for an economy recover until vaccine with perfect trials have been made.
