The amount of ETH-based ICO is increased day by day. With this speed, at the next bull run, ETH will easily break 2000 mark.
But with all of these regulations and so many unclear laws, we hardly get 2017 bull run again in this year.

I think Ethereum will break 2,000$ mark a year or two from now because as what we can see in its graph, Ethereum has declined to 300$ last April when i thought it will break the 1,000$ resistance last February. Since then, ethereum goes to a constant up and down pattern which seems to last for a while. So maybe a year after or two, ethereum will break the 2,000$ mark.
This will probably happen for a long time, now the ETH price is just over $ 500. and to about $ 800 they turn around, so it's hard to increase to $ 2,500 as you would expect. It may take a year.

lol yeah right because of all the crypto coins are always following the value of bitcoins. though i dont think that bitcoin will reach 25k first in order for the eth to rise up to 2k usd . etheriums value is still pretty small , which means it does not need a lot of pump from bitcoin in order for its value to increase that much. maybe 15k and above is all we need for bitcoin , so that other coins could also reach their peak value.

not all ico's are under the etherium platform because there were also ico's that has been under the waves platform. scam ico's can also affect the demand for cryptos , thats why it there is a posibility that their value cant always increase

I think, when this year will not be got fud news to death of cryptocurrencies, ethereum could easy hit two thousand dollars to end of the year. So actually the dev team behind ethereum are working on different things.

I think once the proof of stake is successfully implemented the price should be headed north towards breaking its previous ATH. There is also sharding and plasma to look out for which should have a positive effect on the price. The end of the year would be a nice time to wait till.
If this year Ethereum will make at least x2 of the current value, it will be a big breakthrough!
