Your government made BTC illegal. You don't want them to blame you once the authorities caught them. Only way they can hide it is if they know how to use tools for anonymity which is another lecture to do but you can't be sure how careless they may be.

They are unemployed and my guess is that they don't have something to invest. This should be the first to solve first, its a long way but one at a time before introducing them to BTC.

If I were OP, I wouldn't recommend my friends invest in bitcoin because they need a steady source of income right now, and bitcoin can't help them do that. How can someone without a job invest in bitcoin? The savings will also be exhausted if we use it and don't have any additional sources. Not to mention the investment is very risky, there is no guarantee they will be profitable and out of unemployment.
OP, moreover, it's not wise to give investment advice to others. Have you ever thought if the investment fails, what will happen to your friendship after that?

First of all I am the only person in my area who has a basic understanding of Bitcoin. That is, in the region where I live, no one but me knows about Bitcoin.
I doubt that’s the case, it could be you’re the only one among your friends that is interested in bitcoin. There’s a lot of content about bitcoin on social media and it’s hard to see anyone who hasn’t heard about crypto these days.

Then they don't want to believe me when I tell them all about bitcoin they believe me. And I assure them if we all get involved in Bitcoin maybe our unemployment will go away. Because there are enough ways to earn money with Bitcoin.
That’s because your story sounds too good to be true, are there really many ways to earn money with bitcoin?

Out of all my friends two of my friends have some savings and when I told them about the investment they became very interested in investing but I didn't tell them only the positive aspects of the investment I told them the negative aspects. And I know the rest of my friends would also be interested in learning about Bitcoin but I just don't know how to start teaching them about it. Because bitcoin crypto currency is completely illegal in my country. So how can I help my friends in this regard?

Hope you guys can give me proper feedback on this and help me move forward in helping them.
I think you should be completely honest with your friends, you shouldn’t tell them the good stuff and refuse to tell them the risks involved in bitcoin investments.  Right now, you’re giving them a false impression of what bitcoin is, and they may believe bitcoin is a get rich quick scheme.

How does an unemployed person think about investing? while they also need money in their savings that they have to use for their needs. sorry, but that just sounds irrelevant. although I know that investment can be done by anyone. but at least those who do are those who have income even if they are not financially strong.
although Bitcoin might be good for them to invest in, it's better to get them to build a business with their savings. and after earning, you can invite them to invest in Bitcoin with the profits from their business.

I agree with the OP that in many countries Bitcoin poses a good opportunity to make a living. Citizens from these countries can join signature campaigns for a living because their rewards equal the average income in their homeland, not to talk about other potential sources of income. For instance, a few years ago a friend I made here in the forum and who lived in a developing country was able to build his house with the income he gained in a few months.

I don't know where you live or penalties that could be imposed on you if cryptocurrencies are illegal in your country. I'm also a law-abiding citizen, but where rules are unreasonable, I guess that you'll have to choose.

With so much info around, why do you even feel a need to educate your friends about Bitcoin, let alone in the country where crypto is completely illegal? But, if if you really want to help them, share them 5 Resources to teach Average Joe about Bitcoin which is a decent start.

Great source of info! I'll propose to translate this topic in the AOBT when we finish the translations currently ongoing.

Even if you explain them all the dangers of investin in bitcoin, I would still avoid doing that. Trust me, if something happens and they lose money, they will probably blame you and will easily forget all the warnings. I learned that lesson the hard way long time ago and now I don't talk anyonme about investing.

It is my experience also that it is better not to do that: if you give some advice and your friends lose money, they'll blame on you; but even if they win, many won't thank you either. Not to talk about the risk you run if Bitcoin is illegal in your country. Live your life and don't worry so much about others.

How did you learn bitcoin, and where did you learn its basics? Use that method and pass it on to your friends, I think it's simple and can work for both of you. But will you give investment advice and want to guide them to invest in bitcoin with their savings? If that's your intention, then I don't think it's a good idea because, as you said, they are unemployed, and someone with no steady income shouldn't invest in bitcoin even if it's savings. Have you thought about the consequences if their investment fails and what happens when they are unemployed and have no savings left? You should encourage them to find a paying job before thinking about investing, bitcoin cannot get them out of unemployment by investing.

I thank you for creating this thread to complete your post and activities of the day. This is not needed. You need the forum to guide you to teach your friend. This is ridiculous. Who taught you and how did you come to know bitcoin. Some of lies when you people are lieing at least make it factual. You said you are the only one knows bitcoin in your locality. I take that one as a very big lie. In this 2023, all the Communities, villages in the globe people have gotten the awareness of bitcoin.
You can even teach them the way you come to know about bitcoin. So there is no need for the forum to teach to teach them.

This is true if your profession is related on programming or anything that will get you a job related to Bitcoin. But if all of your profession doesn't fit on Bitcoin or crypto in general then you really need to find a way to get your normal job because Bitcoin is not a salary making machine in contrary to what is currently running to your mind.

Out of all my friends two of my friends have some savings and when I told them about the investment they became very interested in investing but I didn't tell them only the positive aspects of the investment I told them the negative aspects. I really feel the danger on what’s coming based on your story. You are attracting them to invest due to their unemployment and the tendency for them to chase profit is very high. They might ended up investing on shitcoins once they have more knowledge on crypto since you are looking for a source of income and not knowledge.

There's no harm to put savings on Bitcoin but relying on it as main source of income is a terrible decision to be made. You really need to find a decent job then invest on Bitcoin. The age of faucet free money is already gone since Bitcoin price is already high.

What a humble statement. Smiley How can you be so sure that no one but you knows about bitcoin in your region?

The maximum number of friends I hang out with are unemployed. They are not uneducated they are all well educated in their respective positions but due to lack of adequate facilities they are unable to find any employment. When we walk together I talk to them about Bitcoin but they tell me that they have only heard about Bitcoin on various social media and they think that if anyone is involved in Bitcoin, the administration of our country will arrest them. Because it is through this kind of news that they are aware of Bitcoin. But when I tell them that I have a rough understanding of Bitcoin. Then they don't want to believe me when I tell them all about bitcoin they believe me. And I assure them if we all get involved in Bitcoin maybe our unemployment will go away. If your friends were really interested in bitcoin, they would have found the correct and truthful information themselves a long time ago. We are alive in the digital age - what problems can there be? Then they would not be under the false misinformation of the mass media about btc.

It is extremely naive to believe that unemployment will disappear if everyone starts get involved in bitcoin. You are greatly mistaken. In the BTC-community there are not only those who have earned with the help of bitcoin, but also those who have lost. As in any business, you also need to work hard here, but if you don’t try to change anything, then your friends will remain unemployed.

Out of all my friends two of my friends have some savings and when I told them about the investment they became very interested in investing but I didn't tell them only the positive aspects of the investment I told them the negative aspects. The best example is a visual example. If you show what heights are achievable thanks to btc, then this will surely interest their curiosity and then they themselves will come to you with a request to tell you how you did it. That's it at this moment, you will start helping your friends. And empty talk not fixed (not proven) by anything will only lead to nothing.

If you want to invest in bitcoin to earn some money you are going to have a very hard time. Bitcoin prices are volatile and will stay this way for some more years. The only way is to work like normal and safe a small amount every month in bitcoin. Everything else is basically gambling and will fail on most cases.
Stil, there are some jobs for your friends also in the crypto world, if they have coding skills.

I don't think that in the whole area only a single person knows about Bitcoin. The Bitcoin isn't a new thing anymore because nowadays, many people are aware of the thing, but some people like to keep it as a secret rather than sharing information about it to others. I have seen many people in my area who are into Bitcoin trading, but most of them somehow, make up stories to show that they have no knowledge about the crypto-currency.

I must warn you if the Bitcoin is not legal or allowed in your country than promoting it to others are educating them about it can be a legally challenging task for you. It's always better to share them the online sources so that they can learn about the thing on their own because in this date and time there are so much material about Bitcoin present in the form of texts, and videos available free of cost. If you still want to promote the awareness of Bitcoin in your community then the best option is the guide them about this forum because they will learn so many things about Bitcoin when they start reading the posts of the forum.

Do not guide others to invest in Bitcoin because if anything goes wrong then all of them will blame you for that. It's always a wise thing to just share the information and let them to decide. In this day even if someone faces a loss then the person will point the finger towards the one who encouraged them to invest in the thing. Although, I can understand that you're trying to help those friends, but I still recommend you to help them with information only and let them to decide whether they want to invest in Bitcoin or not. If they are still willing to invest in it then you should guide them the safest way to invest into the cryptocurrency. That's more than enough a friend can do for them, and they'll appreciate your efforts if they get profits from the investment.

I don't think that's a good idea. Unemployed people are easy targets for the casinos and even though bitcoin itself has nothing to do with gambling, these people may see it like a get rich quick scheme. If they think they'll get rich investing in bitcoin then they will make some wrong doings like investing in shitcoins, day trading etc. Because they will realize that bitcoin isn't risky enough and you need to take more risks to make more money. Since they have no jobs, they will take the maximum risk and that's a recipe for a disaster.

I always thought that if a person is looking for a job, he will be glad to accept any offers. Your friends, as you speak, are very cautious and skeptical of your words. But I always wondered where it says on the forum that we are trying hard to teach and persuade people to invest, especially people who are far from crypto. Why are so many people taking on the role of teachers to supposedly help their friends? Want to help? Give them money; moreover, if you can give some examples, as you write, about the many ways to earn Bitcoins, I will be grateful.
I'm not against you, OP, but if a person is a doctor, for example, and he forces you to go and get a medical specialty, how will you react? Some are simply not interested; you should not be intrusive; bitcoin does not need advertising; as you can see, it has been very independent and sufficient for many years.

But when I tell them that I have a rough understanding of Bitcoin.

I don't know your country but as for me to be a good law abiding citizen it's better you don't involve yourself to what your country didn't encourage to avoid violating their regulations. But if you must go further to teach them about bitcoin, you don't have to go above your limits or only teaching them about security aspect and usefulness, it must not only be the investment aspect.
Then secondly, investing in bitcoin doesn't guaranteed a total turnaround of becoming rich or wealth over night. Know too well that if they venture into bitcoin it could take about 1 year or more to get stabilized since the market is too volatile.

What make you think you are the only person that have knowledge and use bitcoin, since Bitcoinbosa privacy incline asset and movement, its hard to know those using it or having basic knowledge about Bitcoin.

So sincerely you cant be 100% sure that you are the only one that knows and use Bitcoin in your region/area, may be gou are the first to exposed your Bitcoin involvement and making public awareness.

I wont condemn your attempt to focus their attention on the earning aspect to you friends because, this type of starting point only lead to frustrationwhen they expectation to make money quickly from Bitcoin doesn't come on time.

But then Bitcoin is the freedom to financial problem only if you have the basic knowledge about bitcoin and it usability, and also how to securely own and store your bitcoin.

It's easy, bitcoin is self-thought and since they have access to the internet and smartphones, they can have access to online tools that could help them and also you can introduce the forum to them and let them learn on their own.
