As much as I want to promote Bitcoin on social media with my friends, I take care of myself because of the cases about $5 wrench attacks. It's okay to promote it to your actual friends but sometimes, you need to put boundary on whom you're going to tell it because you don't know some of the friends on your social media have been tracking your move and might go against you and will come by to take your Bitcoin. Take it for these examples:

That's why its important to consider the welfare of people which we want to teach since by having that they might prone to any risk its because bitcoin is hot money for criminals and they might be an easy target for them especially if they are not properly guided well after they learn about bitcoin or crypto. At my place its really complicated since I think I am the only one know about it since I never heard bitcoin discussed here so I choose to be silent since I don't want to create any noise that I have bitcoin. Also not planning to introduce this to them since I don't know what will be their take about it and also don't want to create some negative impression from them knowing unknowledgeable people always be so skeptical on new information's they have heard.
There are times that we're proud to be holding it for so long but you'll have that realization when you've seen news like those that I've linked. It's just best to be silent and choose the people you'll talk too about Bitcoin but if it's with finances, maybe some little bit of casual talk that one may mention Bitcoin about it. While it's true that people that have lack idea about what Bitcoin is, mostly are negative and skeptic on it.

It's all evolving, I mean in the beginning , nobody wants bitcoin and I think everything started in 2017 when we have a bullish run up to almost $20k and everyone though, hmm, we can make money out of it.

And so criminals whether online or offline has a field day hunting those bitcoin enthusiast, rob them or their hard earn Bitcoin. That's why it's no longer to talk about Bitcoin in public to non-coiners as someone might be eaves dropping and then will follow you at home and uses that $5 wrench attack as we are now in their radar.
And if we're going to analyze it, before it was the non Bitcoiners think that Bitcoin is just for the criminals. Going on to the present time, we are realizing that the bitcoin holders are afraid of the criminals(who's not?) and who knows that those that have been skeptic about BTC before are one of us how.

My country has a more complicated situation. Anti-Bitcoin are common among individuals over 35. Bitcoin is distrusted by this group, which is rooted in established banking systems. This is why awareness is so important.

Indeed, education is powerful. Misunderstanding and ignorance fuel most anti-Bitcoin attitudes. To educate those who are unfamiliar, especially the elderly, is my goal. Its about simplifying Bitcoin's terminology. After understanding Bitcoin, many see it as an opportunity.

Its about applying Bitcoin's benefits to their daily life, not just bombarding them with facts. Even the most doubters soften when I do so. While risk is always present, the potential returns for individual investors and the society are significant. Sharing knowledge benefits everyone and is a Bitcoin enthusiast's duty.
Because they're being taught in traditional way, they only know tangible assets e.g. fiat, land, real estate, gold, or anything that you can see has a physical appearance. What about stock? it's promoted by the country and government, especially it already exist since long time.

While Bitcoin? it's fairy new, intangible asset, and the most of country doesn't promote it, some even say it's illegal and haram.

Well, it will depend on the environment or the country itself. I notice that in my country there is no one who is anti-Bitcoin; maybe there are persons with malicious intentions towards bitcoin holders, but the thing is, is it enough to be afraid? For me, no, if I want, I will spread awareness about bitcoin or introduce it to the crowd whenever there is a chance, because why not? Its good to share this kind of opportunity with others, and it will benefit us who are currently holders or investors of bitcoin, because more investors added equals the price movement will be greater, and it will give us more windows of opportunity to earn. I don't want to gatekeep those who want to learn about bitcoin, so I will not be afraid of such things. Yes,  there is a risk, but I think it will be worth it. Of course, I will not flex and reveal my assets to avoid being targeted with malicious intentions.

This is also a superb way of raising the curiosity of a none Bitcoin ethusiast. When Items like shirts, cups, stickers, etc contains Bitcoin logo, and it's present in major parts of your house/environment, it would certainly raise questions from the people around. Sometimes, it might happen that the none Bitcoin ethusiast isn't the social type, but when he/she continues to see something that isn't familiar, then curiosity is certain.
I actually agree with an idea like this, but at the time.
And for now it seems like this idea has risks for those who use it, because currently everyone, all criminals and all groups know about Bitcoin, and also know that Bitcoin is very valuable or you could say digital gold. And bad people, even not bad people, can become bad when they see a Bitcoin symbol or picture somewhere or something that someone is using because they will think you have a lot of Bitcoins and they want to commit a crime by taking your Bitcoins. And maybe by kidnapping just to get a private wallet or other means, just to get Bitcoin.
So in my opinion, something like that is best avoided even though it is a great way to introduce Bitcoin, but for security and convenience it is best not to do it.
Should we then consider the subject of Bitcoin as a secret topic to be discussed only within a closed group?

The fear of being haunted by anti Bitcoiners or kidnappers or hackers is always there, but somehow, if we were to find ourselves in an environment where we feel the persons around could do good with the knowledge, mostly to either be as an extra source of income or as a means of payment for their international transactions or as a means to invest in the future, then we shouldn't fail to share the knowledge and educate such persons.

Creating the awareness of bitcoin is a thing of choice and not every bitcoin enthusiast will love to follow the idea, as some will say creating awareness sounds risky and you have to be careful, with the stories we see online sometimes by people who got hacked and scammed is enough reason to stay careful when creating bitcoin awareness, bitcoin has gained ground in the crypto world so anyone who wants to invest in crypto will first hear about bitcoin cause bitcoin is so popular. Secondly the people you're talking about are they willing to invest or you just want to create the awareness, several people will learn and refuse to put it into practice and if creating bitcoin awareness to such people then you're wasting your time. Let's be realistic, if you own an organization or a private school then it will be easy to create such awareness, as an bitcoin enthusiast you can start from your employees and students, with this idea it will be easy and it sounds less risky.
The idea with physical items sounds too risky, just imagine I wore a shirt that has bitcoin logo three times or more, people will definitely suspect and with such you're giving room for scammers or robbers mostly if your environment is not safe and it doesn't sound funny, if talking about physical items then it's better to keep bitcoin knowledge to yourself to avoid risk.

Ways we can promote the use of bitcoin as individuals
The purpose of using this two methods helps to raise the curiosity of none Bitcoin enthusiast (NBE). These two methods are clearly indirect ways of promoting Bitcoin

1. Social media
2. Our physical items

There are pros and cons to this two method you listed but before I begin I want to support your initiatives of promoting bitcoin in the best way we can in our locality. Bitcoin isn't a new invention anymore as people already know about Bitcoin but percentages of people that know about bitcoin aren't using it as a currency because of many reasons but we won't be going into the reasons for this discussion but we can encourage the use of Bitcoin by providing people a means to ise Bitcoin provided why aren't breaking any laws of our country.

For the two method, I'll prefer the physical store approaches than the social media. Social media will reach a wider range of audience but we'll be attracting only those that sees bitcoin as an assets to be used as store of wealth or to multiply wealth. There's nothing wrong in that but we need more people that'll give Bitcoin physical utility so accepting Bitcoin at our physics shops will help with that.

Quote
In conclusion
The promotion of Bitcoin should be strongly encouraged among Bitcoin community individuals. This would certainly help Bitcoin get to the grass root, both in rural and urban regions. These are clearly my opinion.
What do you guys think about Bitcoin promotion and other ways we can promote Bitcoin in our community?.

We all have to contribute to the growth of Bitcoin in its utility features, the little we can do will go a very long way. We're in a decentralized environment so everyone has to put hands together to achieve our aim but we shouldn't go against the governments of our nations to avoid jail time or huge fines.

Sure, Bitcoin can handle P2P transfers, but it's so much more. Imagine a world where artists get paid directly by fans, cutting out the middlemen. Imagine a global marketplace where anyone, anywhere, can trade goods and services without borders or limitations. That's the power of Bitcoin – it opens up a whole new landscape of possibilities.

Let's be honest, the "overnight riches" crowd is always going to be there. But instead of chasing fleeting profits, let's talk about the long-term potential. Bitcoin's like a sturdy oak, not a fly-by-night weed. It's about building wealth gradually, responsibly, and with a clear understanding of the risks involved.

Encouraging the use of Bitcoin is a task that many avoid due to the risks involved. By promoting Bitcoin you might reveal yourself as an investor and attract potential hackers. This increased visibility can expose you to more cybersecurity threats, so it's wise to be cautious when promoting cryptocurrencies especially Bitcoin. Some people prefer to keep their cryptocurrency holdings private for security and privacy reasons, avoiding the limelight and potential risks.

In some countries where security is less, alot of person might end up being target by thief's and somany other criminals out there. That's why sometimes, it's advisable to only inform people closer to you who don't know about Bitcoin.

Don't educate uninterested people about this since instead of getting a lot of positive feedback about what you are doing people might get a wrong impression about what you do and you might be called running a scam on your place. So don't push to hard to market this since bitcoin doesn't actually need that. Don't waste your effort to those people who have zero knowledge about it since they are actually not a great target.

But focus to those people who have interest about crypto but they have less knowledge since for sure they are worthy to teach more about bitcoin and other cryptocurrency. For sure as bitcoin gaining a lot of success the news will just come to them so just wait for people to come and approach you that they want to learn about it since from that they are more eligible to receive the information about bitcoin.

Bitcoin doesn't need any introduction now as most of us are aware of Bitcoin but rather we need to find suitable reason for people to adopt to Bitcoin and i remember during early days I used to pitch people by showcasing then the benefits of Bitcoin as P2P transfer without third part and without higher charges but now there are much better options availing market for P2P transfer hence it should be a mix approach of investment cum P2P transfer method but now people are more profit oriented and looking for something which can make hem rich overnight hence it would be a bit of challenge to get new users onboard as they are just keep on profits.

It was back then that bitcoin needs awareness because the news of bitcoin is everywhere especially in countries that government didn't legalize cryptocurrency, a lot of them will know about it, but you should also know that it is a choice for people to make if they are willing to learn and adopt it or not. This is why you don't need to introduce bitcoin to everyone you see but to only your family and friends that show interest in it. Bitcoin can also be promoted in a charitable way by showing love to people in need. Bitcoin is now promoting itself as you can see the news with SEC and bitcoin ETF approval, only that has done a lot in promoting bitcoin. You are free to do what you like to promote bitcoin in your own way.

Promoting BTC to non-coiners is kinda dangerous, I don't think you need to push people. Only if they ask you to explain to them how to buy it or stuff like that.
why do you think that promoting Bitcoin to new people in crypto is dangerous? Who else we should promote it to? what you saying doesn't make any sense unless you have some strong points to support it.
Promoting Bitcoin to non-crypto folks is the only promotion we need. because people who know about crypto or Bitcoin don't need our awareness. they are already aware.
and no there is no danger in promoting Bitcoin at all.. it can be too exciting for them sometimes. it is also risky. but properly telling them about Bitcoin and educating them about the risks can solve all these problems.

1. Social media
Social media has been a huge contributor to Bitcoin. Current Information keeps running every seconds which keeps the Bitcoin community updated. The regular/consistent posting of Bitcoin related matters on a personal social space is a great way of getting the attention of others. In a space of one year, your neighbour who happens to be a friend on your social space would be force to ask about the BTC logo.

2. Our physical items

Both of them are terrible ideas.

If you promote Bitcoin in your personal account, it will gather a lot people in online. While the second one will gather a lot people in offline, so you're completely lose your privacy as everyone know you're Bitcoin holder.

Why it's bad to be known as Bitcoin holder? they will think you're rich and they will beg your for money, if not they will mad and say bad thing about you. This also increase a chance you will be target by $5 wrench attack.

There is definitely a possibility that someone who sees me might get curious but there is also a huge possibility that other people would just ignore the logo and then we have another possibility someone who is already well aware of what bitcoin is sees me wearing a shirt with a bitcoin logo or walking around with a cup with a bitcoin logo in it and attempts to put me in danger by stealing let’s say my phone which is ideally where i would have my wallets on

For me personally i just am not comfortable with parading myself around people who might have ill intentions towards me or my money

I agree with you, never advertise you have anything, we live in a world where people kill for a cigarette...
People who want to know will do their research.

I agree, but not just because of that. I don't think that your close friends will kill you for your Bitcoin (but I can't deny, that it's possible, the chances are just low). But you're just gonna bother people you know and look like some member of the cult if you'll try to push it to them.
