when can we expect a paid firmware?

The paid update is going to need to have extensive "QA" performed on it since the impact of it failing will be large. I do not want to rush it out the door.

I will update as soon as I can.

Thank you,

Jason

Jason,
Sorry for the delay.  I had POOL 0 and POOL 2 DEAD POOL 1 was working in that situation.  You're welcome.  Will update the new version.  Again Thank you for the firmware.

I just want to say great work here Efudd.  I am stable at 675 now for 2 days with fans at 75% running at 69oC.  I did want to point out one thing about your "10 minute" mining..  If pool 0 is dead, my miner keeps mining for you, doesn't come back after the first 10 mins.  Not sure if you knew about it or not.  Thanks again for your hard work.

zx10r07 - In your scenario, was pool0 working and then went offline? Or were you just using pool1 or pool2 and did not expect pool0 to work?

Thank you,

Jason

Ok, I've reproduced this and I know what is happening. I'll work on fixing this, but for now, it can be worked around by not having a dead pool0.

Thank you for reporting it.

Jason

Alright, this is fixed in version 2.0d, which is live now.

Thank you again for reporting this.

zr10r07 - Ah, crap. Someone else had a similar issue, but they had a "unique" way of handling pool management and I could not readily discern the cause or directly reproduce it. I will test this later today and releases a "d" version when I can reproduce and fix it.

Thank you,

Jason

Really appreciate your hard work.   I messaged you regarding the unlocked version I received.  As far as batch 1 z9.   I tried a little research of my own by taking the control board from my 750 hashing batch one mini and placing it on the batch 2 mini and the same issue existed where the hashing would go to zero after some time and could only handle 650 at times.  So not sure what they really changed with batch 2 as I assumed all config were stored on the control board.

Thanks

I responded to your PM re: unlock/Z9. My understanding, and note I never had a Z9 batch2+ myself - my 12 were all batch1, is that the Batch2s had a hardware change.  From the pictures I saw, my best guess is 2 VRMs (voltage regulation modules) were removed which limited the power distribution ability to the boards. Again, just a wild guess.

Hey guys. Just for making things clear. Z9 mini Batch 1 and 2 hashing boards look basically the same to me. I can provide photos of both batches boards front and back.

fliperone, that'd be awesome.

Thank you.

I have one of each batch which I can get pics of also to compare  The batch 2s are easily determined by the screw in the center of the fan batch 1 and 3 don't have it. Batch 1 firmware on all 3 giving 16+k on batch 1, 15k on batch 2, and 16+ on the batch 3 running 731,687,731 for the freq

Folk,

I should have the mini variant out soon. I have the majority of it ready, I just need to get it tested.

Thank you!
