Perhaps for convenience, I will soon make the election in electronic form, but there may also be fraud with voices. While people are greedy for power and more money, they will forge the results of voting.

Evoting is coming. Evoting is already started to takes place in private institutions.
With people busy with themselves, they don't have time to waste a couple of hours just to caste a vote.

Personally, i think e-voting isn't such a bad idea. It will happen some time in the future so why not try it now. E-voting in my perspective has a more simpler and convenient way to vote, we can vote without all the hassle on going to the polling place. Although im not sure how the security works in voting online, it is still worth a try, since we are constantly improving by the use of technologies.

Voting sucks. Maybe we should try other forms of voting. Maybe using crypto will be the first step of this. In my opinion, creators may put complex game theory to discourage bribery. The hell with it, I think the whole concept of leadership is flawed. We don't need leaders to make our lives better. We are our own leaders, we just need set of rules and cooperation. Think about this, a school of fish has no leader but they maneuver in near perfect motion.

Blockchain technology for elections? Sounds good but I would always stay with the usual paper elections, this is more reliable to me though it takes time and it has a lot of paper works.

I think in the future, the path to E-Voting is certainly the way to go! I'm thinking of the improvements it might bring: quicker results, less paperwork, less people needed on site, huge improvements for people living in areas with bad infrastructure, where it might take a few hours to drive to the polls.

Problem is, we are still seeing so many issues with the reliability of such systems! In general, the USA have ruined the reputation of E-voting imho, because they had crappy voting machines for decades now, that didn't work as intended (first came to my attention during Bush v. Gore in 2000). And there were several stories of alleged voting machine during the 2016 election as well.

At the same time, I think the US are probably a bad example and give E-voting a worse reputation than deserved. I think that examples in Europe are probably the way to go: smaller countries, easier to administer and overview. If E-voting goes well there, I think the tech might be rolled out globally in a decade or two. But lets not rush things either - don't want Democracy to be killed by some easily hackable machines.

I think e-voting will not be safe.I don't understand how the e-vote system will work.Just see the movie "Man of the Year" and you'll understand what I mean.

I think e-voting works in Estonia(?) and was tested in few countries (Finland, France, Netherlands?). I'm just imagining... Each citizen will receive z-address (wallet and privite key can be generated only by goverment) and in the election weak each citizen will receive 1 coin and according to who they want to elect, they send this coin to the specific t-address (transparent). So that way everyone can see how much votes the candidate has but noone can tell who voted him. This is my simple idea that can be improved in many ways.
Thank you for movie recommendation Smiley

The reason they are developing more the technology. Time will come when we don't need to go to selected precincts to vote instead we will be facing our own PCs to do the voting without cheating. Blockchain offers a lot of opportunities, but it needs to be used correctly. There may be some issues about this but I don't think that it will be used in a actual election if it is not really finished.

Today I saw a video how hard it is to make voting system online instead of paper votes (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w3_0x6oaDmI) (I mean votes for president, goverment elections). Like it can be easily manipulated and anonymity is a big problem. But as I'm deeping into cryptocurrencies I think that Zcash and it's forks like Hush - I think the technology it provides is the solution. Blockchain, decentralized, fully anonymous (z transactions). What do you guys think?
