Good to hear. I also just upped my power by about 20 times, and was wondering about the long payout queue, while at 95GH I was never in it for more than a few blocks, but now I am seeing waits of as much as .4BTC above payout threshold. If I raise the threshold a bit will this reduce the time between payouts? Or will it be just the same, and I'll still be paid out once I hit the .4 or .5 bitcoin mark as I have recently, regardless of the threshhold (assuming I set it to less than that amount of BTC)?
If you raise the threshold then it will take longer for you to hit the threshold, but your position in the queue will be lower whenever you do hit it.
If you set your threshold so that you expect to hit the threshold every ~7 days, you will probably never have to wait more than a block or two for the payout once you enter the queue.
If you set your threshold so that you expect to hit the threshold every ~12 hours, you could easily find yourself at the bottom of a long queue and have to wait another 12-24 hours to actually receive your payout, after hitting your threshold.
Higher threshold = lower variance for payouts (front of queue; you will always be first in line)
Lower threshold = higher variance for payouts (bottom of queue; you will start at the end of the line and have to wait to move up)
