Hi
A nice project!
I'm not quite sure what Stackmint is? What do you mean with takes a photo of a banknote? ^^
I've got a few questions: You mentioned "nodes" on your site? Are they working like MASTERNODES and you'll get rewards for them? If yes... are there any plans how many Ellcrys are needed for that?
I'm already registered. Do I receive the extra 5% private sale bonus, if I send money now or do I have to wait till pre-ICO starts?
The bonuses for pre sale and official sale seems to be the same. Is this correct?
What happens if I contribute now e.g. 1 ETH @1200$ = 12000 ELL and price of ETH starts to rise again e.g. to 1500$. Are there any compansations planed in this case?
Thanks in advance!

StackMint is a new coin generation scheme for Ellcrys. It will allow people from anywhere in the world "exchange" their national banknotes for new coin using their mobile devices. We believe this is a fair method of distributing new coins to people who have no access to specialised hardware for mining. Please read this
post for more information.

You will receive the extra 5% sign up bonus for all your contributions during all token sale events. You also receive an additional 5%
bonus if you participate in the private sale.

Yes. This bonuses are the same.

ELL allocations are calculated based on the price of ETH at the time the contribution was detected. No further updates/compensation is made based on ETH price change.
Hi, thanks for your answer... but I'm still clueless or just dumb ^^
So what happens exactly, if I scan a bank note and more important... why should I scan it? What is the actual purpose of it?
So I scan a bank note and get ELL in return. The nodes verify the note. But now I still have the bank note in my pocket and ELL as well.
Please enlighten me
Why should people participate in later Pre-ICO stages if they could get the same bonus in main sale?
> So what happens exactly, if I scan a bank note and more important... why should I scan it? What is the actual purpose of it?
You would typically scan it with a mobile device that has a wallet app that supports the StackMint protocol. Please read this
article for more detailed description of how it would work. I have also explained in previous posts.
As stated in my last post, the purpose is to allow fair distribution of the platform's token supply to everyone and not just to those who can afford mining machines. To create a new coin, miners and general public work together. Miners provide the compute resources to process banknotes provided by the general public and split the reward. This is will allow people in developed and under-developed parts of the world participate. It is also possible to use this process to generate some randomness which will come in handy for certain components of the platform; Details of this will be released in future technical publications.
> So I scan a bank note and get ELL in return. The nodes verify the note. But now I still have the bank note in my pocket and ELL as well.
The purpose is not to destroy your fiat wealth, so you will still have your bank note in your pocket and can buy whatever you want. However you
have exchanged something with the Ellcrys platform -- The uniqueness of that banknote is the cost. It is like you have "sold the soul" of that banknote to the
network. You will only be able to scan a banknote just once.
> Why should people participate in later Pre-ICO stages if they could get the same bonus in main sale?
Good question. The price is much cheaper in later Pre-ICO stages. We get this particular question a lot and are reviewing the bonuses based on feedback. If we come to a conclusion that will affect the bonuses, we will make an announcement.
