His companies were growing and falling in value long before all this new hype with cryptocurrency, which is so interesting for everyone again because of its rise in price. Its role in the popularization of cryptocurrency is difficult to overestimate and cannot be underestimated. It's one thing how you personally feel about him and his companies, their products and so on. Another thing is that this guy was one of the first large billionaires to publicly support and bought bitcoin himself. It was very timely and important for the market, so please, fans of criticism. Better to do something of comparable benefit yourself first.

How would supporting crypto boost his companies? When he announced that Tesla bought Bitcoin, his shares fell 5%, because investors didn't like such risky move. And it's not like paying with Bitcoin or Dogecoin for his products is going to get him more sales, people who would use crypto would otherwise use fiat if they couldn't, so crypto is not netting him new customers.
Elon is into crypto mostly for the memes and because he realizes how bad the inflation is becoming.

Well I don't really know his plans, if he believes in crypto he wouldn't compare a coin with no use case like doge to bitcoin which is really strange, well i think he did the shilling so as to benefit from it, maybe he might have invested in it when it was low, then hype the token it pumped then he made profits, he is a business man and his interest will always be at making profit, or maybe he has a deal with the owner of doge. I think I saw a recent post on Twitter stating SpaceX accepting doge as means of Payment, all this is just to pump the price of doge.

And even if you ignore his Tweets, you can't ignore that he appeared on SNL, which is known to be a stage for pure comedy, making fun of dogecoin.
I mean, the guy asks him, is it just a hustle, and he laughs and says yes, it's a hustle. And he laughs again.
So what does this tell you? He knows what it is. Just hope others know what it is too.

For me Elon is just the same as McAfee and probably would end up like him in crypto space.
Now I see some meme post about people lose something because of following him.
If doge wouldn't recover then I guess Musk would really lose it and would really become like McAfee on crypto.
People would start to lose interest and trust on him then after that every tweet/post or comment that he would say would also be a big thing in here.

Nope they are not the same Mcafee hype so many shitcoins and many people lost a lot of money from his doings compare to elon where he really pump up the Doge coins and make those holders earn a lot of money from holding it for long time. Although many lose due to buying it from FOMO but I can still say that they are far from each other if we really compare them. Although I will agree with you if you think his main intention is to earn from it, we shouldn't get surprise about it since Elon is businessman and he will do whatever it takes just to gain a profit on all of his investment.

Watching the lately spot about Musk appearing on live tv this weekend for showing what all the hype is about and if he will actually have a mention of his favorite cryptocurrency doge, it seems the media are jumping all over this appearance.

What are your thoughts about this North American appearance and what do you think he will do or say about doge or even bitcoin?
I think since Miley Cyrus is the musical guest he will have her dress up as a dog and call her doge.
She likes cats and had dressed up as them on stage during her concerts, so you never know what these two crazy people will do on this episode.

To be honest, I'm not against him; in fact, I admire how, through his shilling system, he is supporting others in pumping this doge or bitcoin. Those who have remained trapped at ATH disagree, claiming that he is simply playing with the market which is their fault in the first place for not having good entries or positions. Everyone has an agenda; his initial goal was doge; people believed in and invested in doge in the hopes of profiting from the promotion he'd been doing for the past few months. Now that his plan has been revealed, this is it; SpaceX accepts Dogecoin as payment to launch ‘DOGE-1 mission to the Moon’ next year
IMO, He's not doing it for Tesla or SpaceX because those businesses have already accomplished great things without cryptocurrency. Elon Musk is doing this to aid cryptocurrency's massive adoption around the world by initiating this type of operation.
Having seen this announcement one day after the show and the price tanked by 25% back down to $0.42 from when it was $0.69 prior to the "It's a hustle!" debacle, this news actually drove it up on hope for this coin back up to $0.60.IMO, He's not doing it for Tesla or SpaceX because those businesses have already accomplished great things without cryptocurrency. Then you have this news about spacex sending it to the moon.
Also today there was a twitter post by yours truly asking if his company should start accepting doge for a car.
That made it jump nearer to it's all-time high once more.
I find it all meme worthy and just sit back, relax and enjoy the movie to see how it ends!

I think what you say could be true, but possibly wrong. because the character of the leadership of a large company is that if possible, turning the money into investment is something that must be done. so he could see compared to investments in foreign exchange and see bitcoin as more profitable, of course he could choose bitcoin.he has also provided an opportunity for all who want to buy Tesla to use bitcoin, of course this is a clever thought to do, because he doesn't have to be difficult to find bitcoins from brokers who clearly need more funds. but by providing direct opportunities with payments using bitcoin there are benefits that must be paid when you have to buy.
so I am confident that he will hold on to it when indeed the price of bitcoin remains profitable. naturally when it is profitable it will be released and wait again when the price corrects to buy again.

Right, and also I don't think that we have to be cynical about the genuine interest of Elon towards crypto just to boost his companies name, remember that Tesla and Spacex is a name before Elon took an interest to cryptocurrency.

Elon Musk is a cult figure for some of the smartest people on the planet. So what he's doing with the Dogecoin baffles me.
I mean, they say the Internet doesn't recognize any form of hierarchy, but I think Musk has delusions of god-like grandeur.
Elon is a public figure, he has millions of fans from all over the world. He has a knack for finance, which is the fun created by Doge. I admire him more than Miley Cyrus from "SNL". His powers saved the lives of countless unemployed people from Doge. Without delusion, he does many things to help others and for his own benefit.I mean, they say the Internet doesn't recognize any form of hierarchy, but I think Musk has delusions of god-like grandeur.

The most interesting thing is that Dogecoin has no reason for growth, except for the manipulation from Elon Musk. Dodgecoin does not contain any technology. This is exclusively a game of roulette, where Elon Musk will win, and most people will lose their funds. I assure you.
Now he posted that a cargo will be sent to the Moon and the payment was made with Doge. Big deal. You could pay it with Litecoin as well. The manipulation schemes go on to pump the price.
I sold all my Dogecoins to BTC and I'm out of this bad movie, my time is too valuable to waste it on this joke.
For some people who do just trust up these current events or trend then its up to their choice but be sure on not to forget those risk management that you do have.

Dogecoin is a perfect example of a manipulated market. The coin has skyrocketed under the influence of just a few tweets, which have no fundamental support. Investors and traders who have no basic knowledge are the only ones who have participated in this manipulated pump. This is totally social media influence and I don't believe such types of pumping signal. Maybe he is attention seeker or trying to show how to regulate/manipulate crypto market.
I have heard several times about doge manipulation just because of this tweet from Elon Musk, of course this is a big influence not only on investors who don't know the basics but there are lots of whales inside who keep doing this, so even novice investors will go in there to buy. because the pumps are so high every day but aren't you tempted to see the doge at such a high pump? Or do you just see it?Doge does not have basic support but many people like him to the point that it is $ 0.5 from the lowest price so all of that will focus on the doge especially influenced by Elon Musk's social media.
