Musk is just for Tesla and SpaceX. He has concerns over Bitcoin because of the greenhouse emissions emitted when mining Bitcoin. I think that is why he like DOGECOIN. Musk will not support Bitcoin for sure.
did he said anything to confirm this statement? I always thought he's just joking and trolling about Dogecoin. I still think he's not serious about it. he might have invested in dogecoin but for him throwing some million dollars is not a big deal. and this was a good investment for him considering if he invested in dogecoin at right time.

What do you think? Is it possible for us to predict or guess the Elon Mask's next step? If it was possible, then obviously he is not the elon mask you know. He is the person whose thoughts are impossible to know. Now if you ask us what Elon's plan is with Bitcoin and Crypto, he is just doing all the things to get attention and boost his products like Tesla and SpaceX. Well, what I think is that it's not about only Tesla or Spacex, he is all about running and planning for profit. When he believes it is time to profit from crypto, he comes and begins his games with crypto and market manipulation. With cryptocurrency, he achieves two goals: he becomes controversial and generates buzz for his product; what we call "negative marketing" is a form of marketing. That's my overall opinion. Thank you.

I guess Elon Musk is a entrepreneur who is not shy of taking risks. He has been in crypto as he know there is something going on in crypto space that can actually help him make good profits. But yes if some one like him promotes crypto, it gives a lot of confidence to common investors.

-  All I know is that Elon Musk is a rich man and also an influential businessman in the business world.
He is a very popular person, and no matter what crypto token he endorses, even if it has no value in the market, he will surely be able to increase the value in the market even if it is temporary.

Because I remembered when he just posted a short message on dogecoin, the price of dogecoin suddenly pumped up in the market, and even the Shiba Inu did the same.

It means that if other tokens can increase the value and have many community investors, how much more can Tesla and SpaceX.

I don't think one affects the other in any way. Yes, Elon Musk is a proponent of bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, but he also considers his finances, investors, and shareholders, just like any other CEO or a business owner. Personally, I don't see any competing interests or anything similar here. Everything makes sense and is clear. Well, it is only healthy to be envious when he succeeds in doing both.

this man clearly earned his popularity, because such people will not pump the DOGE coin so often, we don't know much, but we can definitely assume that he benefited from all this.
He got more than he expected from a meme coin. Now he has not made much progress with it. He is a renowned businessman. Because of his various businesses, he may not be able to give proper time to all businesses. Maybe his crypto business is at an insignificant stage compared to other businesses.

Although we don't know any plans for his doge coin. Hopefully something will happen but of course after the bull market goes through.

He clearly scammed people with his influence if you ask me, this is not what leaders do to their followers. Only Lord knows the people he informed before he literally pumps doge and manipulates his way out. He does that too to Bitcoin but that was easy for him because of the bull run, I dare him now to try those stupid memes on his Twitter handle to see if he will be able to do that this time around.

Now that we have a bear market, most people who are new to the market will by now have learned their lessons, this is the period you will know the strong and the real diamonds hands and not the typical ones that were shouting strong hands in a bull market time.
actually an elon will not be able to prove that he will be able to give encouragement to the doge if he does this now, because the market is bearish. So I don't believe in Elon's ability to be able to give doge improvements. as an entrepreneur he is smart to take advantage of the trust of many people through his tweets to be able to give encouragement to the doge, but when the market is still possible to be manipulated.
as an entrepreneur he knows the situation and will do what he thinks will benefit him and he will not do anything when indeed he himself would not be able to do it.

This is another proof that market is definitely somehow manipulated
I don't think Elon Musk has enough time between designing stuff at SpaceX/Tesla/Starlink/Boring Company/that neurallink or whetever its called, and media appearences to manipulate the market even rudimentarily.

@idrisalomagold
The bitcoin price is definitely manipulated. If you just look at the price before then after the announcement by Powell during his speech about inflation in the US. It dropped $400 within less than 10 minutes and he hasn't even finished speaking yet.

Wouldn't you call that building of an empire?
He will just like the Romans but will be based on Mars instead. Grin

He did it understanding the people's mind. We can't term this to be a scam, because he didn't mention or suggested anyone to follow him. He just did of his own and hyped the market. Just because he's popular the market got manipulated. By the time people made big money as well as lost big. So, it is simply their luck.

Now people are well aware of these kind of Influencers. Recently he made some tweets and nothing drove the market. Because, people are well aware and doesn't want to fall for his tweets. Following influencers profits, if the investment is being made at the right time. It is high risk than just investing.

There's no scam happened and you couldnt really just simply make out those claims since Elon wasnt really able to steal money from people but somewhat it did really make out some manipulative actions which causes for people to lose up their investment.

Well, its just normal that he would really make out some boosting up in regarding with his businesses or companies via some tweets but he never forces out people to follow on what he do
and since we know on how social media words then it is really just dumb that people do really throw up some blame whenever they do have some investment losses
without even trying to realize that it was their own fault on the first place.

That's just a marketing play I suppose. It gives people the thought "wow they're the future" and gives them an illusion that Elon is interested in the same things they are interested in. Musk is just a good businessman. I don't think that he has a lot of time to study the crypto market and get involved in it.

He might not have the time but Elon has the space to accommodate Blockchain enthusiasts, I believe the doge coin he was Shilling some months ago may have not be his idea, someone may have suggested that for him, he doesn't have time for diggings or DYOR in details. Some of his comments on doge coin scales more than bitcoin proves that he doesn't no shit about bitcoin, he is just a man who employee good guys with big IQ and talent to run his business, that's exactly how he successfully run Tesla and the launch of spaceX, he doesn't know how that shit work, people work for him.

You should begin to be skeptical on what Elon was really doing when he was shilling dogecoin. He knew what he was doing. Also, he has divorced from 3 wives who might have gotten a large share of his assets. He will be needing some extra money hehehehe and do not underestimate human greed.

Also, Elon has a large following in social media and he loves to troll. How can he profit from this? Shill a coin traded in an unregulated market where the SEC cannot give him legal problems. Elon is a cold blooded profiteer.

He could just easily create his own coin or token and just shill it to his massive amount of followers on all media platforms if he was in the quest for profits.
But he is not and just only loathes the attention he garners from giving attention to anything he wants to.
And this inturn brings more attention and thus profits to his own companies.

So if he was to do anything with cryptocurrenies than it wouldn't be to make any money out of it.
He obviously has enough coming in from the other companies he owns.

He could've create his own coin easily, yes, but I think that won't garner any much support from the public and investors because his intentions would be too clear if he would do that as he is already known as a crypto whale. Might be good for him if he just keeps on trolling on what specific coin or token he is into, just like how vocal he is on what he is hodling currently. Other than that, who knows what is his true intentions Grin

Elon uses cryptos as capitalization tool, it's simple as that. He has the power to manipulate markets and he already prove it. And if he need cash for his projects he can sell he recently bumped coins  Cheesy

Is a smart move, and is a way to capitalize big projects... No one say it was cheap or easy to create an electric car, or create space ships or artificial neural links. The money should come from some where, and not all comes from cryptos, this is just another income source.
True, he is just using crypto to get bigger profits for other purposes. Its financial strength can move these relative markets, so market manipulation is always possible by individuals or groups of deep-pocketed whales. It seemed easy how he created the hype, but things were different now. People are educated on losses, so we'll see the Elon Musk hype no longer strong enough to move the market any time soon.

Elon Musk has sure had a lot to say about cryptocurrencies over the years. And some of it has been quite promotional, so much so that it would be easy to see how someone would think Musk was offering investment advice but he just say that crypto is safe to invest, he never say invest in crypto that's the business logic....think about it friends Huh Huh Huh
So far he has emphasized how big the prospects are when investing in crypto, but he also asserts that he has never invited others to follow his steps to invest in crypto, even though Elon Musk has often tweeted that has an impact on crypto hype but he always reminds the risk there is, I personally see that Elon Musk is like an ordinary person who is just looking for profit in crypto, but because he is the richest person in the world, of course, influences others to follow him, even though we have realized that every investment what we do is our own responsibility regardless of who we follow.

Yeah but the difference between this individual and all the rest is that he knows how to garner alot of attention and utilize it towards his own benefit and that of his empire:

Let's not kid ourselves any longer, all his companies combined are essentially an empire!

Watching the lately spot about Musk appearing on live tv this weekend for showing what all the hype is about and if he will actually have a mention of his favorite cryptocurrency doge, it seems the media are jumping all over this appearance.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nWWzszskgmA

What are your thoughts about this North American appearance and what do you think he will do or say about doge or even bitcoin?
I think since Miley Cyrus is the musical guest he will have her dress up as a dog and call her doge. Cheesy
She likes cats and had dressed up as them on stage during her concerts, so you never know what these two crazy people will do on this episode.

Just another individual who wants to use his influence and make money out of it! Just like other prominent financial people who make negative comments for bitcoin but bought during the times they FUD!

This is another proof that market is definitely somehow manipulated
