Elon Musk had the ability to manipulate the market and he still has it. But just not that powerful anymore as it seems. His tweets were very affective on Bitcoin and the market before. But I don't see that the price gets affected by it much anymore. That's good news too! Finally, investors will be more relieved about their investments.

Haha, just like I said in the previous post, Elon Musk really has the ability to manipulate the bitcoin market, just follow him at least for the moment. But this wouldn't last long; they started to hate him.
At least if you go short, you also have some money. In this market, the more you panic, the more you lose money.

Not can Elon Musk just manipulate the market, but his influence transcends from every investor which ultimately controls the prices of either the stock or the cryptocurrency market.

I remember, Elon Musk tweeted about his support on DogeCoin and its price skyrocketed. When Elon also expressed his opinion about BTC, its price decreased. His influence in the market controls the decision of most investors since they believe in his motive.

He really had the ability to manipulate the market. But it looks like hasn't now. His single tweet was enough to change things in the market. But I realized something that his tweets are not effective anymore. It's really good news, guys.  Cheesy  We'll finally be starting to be relieved. Investors have been complaining about him continually.
This is Elon Musk's latest tweet about the meme coin and nothing happened to the price of the meme coin https://twitter.com/elonmusk/status/1410529698497630212.  people no longer want to believe in Elon, buying a meme coin (shitcoin) promoted by Elon will only make you lose.  Elon effect has dimmed Cheesy
That's true. Yesterday his tweets hasn't made big change in the market. Once after the tweet there is sudden rise in the market, but the same fell in a short time period and still there is growth with baby doge. By the time if there had manipulation from the respective team behind the coin there could've been some bullish trend. Anyhow it is a good news that one isn't able to simply drive the market as they want. Another thing his tweet on doge hasn't made any move forward.

In fact, not only Elon had such power.
Remember, at one time Justin Sun managed to understand well the price of his Tron coin thanks to the most interesting tweets,
then there was a correction, and justin himself got into several awkward situations, and it stopped working. Elon Musk is now in a similar position.

In general, I think that people like Elon Musk are needed to voice this or that information of major players. Elon Musk himself is more like the actor who plays the role. Indeed, after his statements about BTC, many realized that he was not an independent player and that it was not safe to believe his words. But as we can see, the stake is placed on media personalities, because they have a large number of followers who trust them and spread their information.

Today Twitter is trending with the Birthday Wishes to Elon Musk. The ATH value of Bitcoin reached once after Elon Musk entered the market. His entry itself a big game changer in the market and more holders profited out of it before he made the consecutive support to dogecoin. Now once again for the large volume buying some negative things were taken into discussion. Once again he'll pump it once after the purchase.

I'm not sure who is to blame in this situation. I think this is a win-to-win situation because both the pope and his followers have the same desire for profit. But what is different may be the impact of the rising pattern which seem to be manipulation by the whale. So drop more of your money in the first place then earn more when others start increasing their demand. I'm sure you know what someone mean by announcing "I bought $1 million xxxcoin today and want to buy more in the future".
Yes, the desire to manipulate prices does exist. But I think it's not sustainable on long run, because many people who followed celebrities like Musk in the past have already lost too much money due to the market's fluctuations, what compromises the reputation of the popular individual advertising he bought nice amounts of any coins.
People who followed Musk recently aren't going to keep doing this, otherwise they are fools who like to lose money, while feeling pleasure in being sheep of someone else. Clever guys who try to manipulate the market may think they are going to be benefited, although the reality can be quite the opposite. Nobody likes manipulators besides their own sheep.

It's like a saying mentioned in a thread's title at gambling section: "It takes years to build a reputation and seconds to break it".

Profits that are very risky for followers if they take steps to follow the words of whales like Elon.  There are many wiser steps in taking advantage not only through such means.  If the investment climate continues to be filled with price manipulation, it will not be good, there will be many who suffer losses and there will only be 1 winner.  When manipulation occurs, the earliest momentum will gain profit.  Life always gives such choices in the end.

You can do everything if you do have the money and its indeed true that popularity and influence would just a bonus and this is why we should be mindful on how to take those shills and calls that he do in the market.
Exactly, the power and influence that money brings has been sought after for centuries and for another centuries to come. If we are mindful of this shills, I think you might be able to make some money or profit out of it remember that no matter how much your dislike the trend in the market, getting in that trend is going to be the best decision to do since trends can make money.

Who is to blame here?  Whales or followers.  They continue to create a market towards a zero sum game.

Both sides are into profits, they just wanted to create impacts and they really good in working with influencers like Musk,

in the other side knowing Tesla owner's characterisitcs which by far always wanted to gain money,

it's on the hands of those followers and people who loves riding with the market. Your money depends from how you play with your trading / investment strategy.

People are too FOMO what Elon Musk says that it will affect the market very quickly. Elon Musk can say anything whether he want to make a profit or just having fun but the irresistible reaction in the market from other whale has increased the number of FOMO people in the market. This could mean that Elon Musk and other whale could take the decentralized nature of crypto out of people's mind I assume. As for who is to blame, I think it all depend on the perception of each of us.

your sentence is wrong because Elon is not manipulating the market but manipulating the minds of investors who are in the crypto market
But the good news is, over time, Elon's tweets have started to be ignored

crypto investors think it's just a childish tweet that has no stand
Elon is just an ordinary person with a lot of Twitter followers Cheesy

As far as what I am seeing every time he is tweeting about cryptocurrency and his diamond hands, the market is having a difficult situation and that's why I am agreeing in this thread that Elon Musk has really the ability to manipulate the market but on the thing that manipulating the bitcoin market? I doubt it because there are so many big whales in cryptocurrency wherein he can not easily make the market dumps.
Not just Elon but any social personality can influence the market, after all, that is what a social influencer is meant to do. Earlier whales were doing the same thing but not with their fame but through sheer capital they were manipulating the market.

Elon's words were like a virus that immediately spread to the market.  Even on June 25 yesterday, only tweeting about Shiba Inu in 24 hours the market went up on the coin.  Yes, the power of whales is unavoidable.  Who is to blame here?  Whales or followers.  They continue to create a market towards a zero sum game.
The thing that terrifies me the most is that Elon, although among the richest, is not even using his money to manipulate the market. He just makes a few tweets and people get crazy which makes me feel like no matter how large the crypto market is, there is a certain distrust among us traders towards cryptocurrency and the market is hollow inside while the market cap might promise a lot.

According to experts, Musk's influence on the cryptocurrency market is far from over as Bitcoin's fate is still tied to the Tesla CEO's tweet.
These experts are none but self-proclaimed idiots who believe that they know more than others. I don't know how suddenly everything has come on the shoulders of Tesla to carry bitcoins while everything was moving swiftly earlier without even the intervention of Tesla in the market of cryptocurrencies. I know if tesla accepts bitcoins surely it helps the price but it should not be visualized in a way that if Tesla doesn't accept Bitcoins, suddenly the market will close and bitcoins will due. The fate of bitcoins can never be decided by a single person or company. Banks failed to stop crypto so I don't have a reason to believe tesla can do that.

Yes Elon Musk has been able to manipulate the dogecoin market and up to an extent, even the bitcoin market, but if you dive deep and look out for the reason, it is us traders who follow him so blindly that whatever he says, we react exactly how he wants us to react.
