It is clear that the position of such an influential person resonates and arouses great interest among many small investors, but often there is a strong impression that Musk deliberately manipulates the market, which is punishable in traditional markets.
Well, the difference is when you talk about how "euro sucks" there is nothing that authorities can do, even dollar is probably fine but let's keep it guaranteed, if you tweet "Zimbabwe dollar sucks" nothing is going to happen to you anyway. Hell you can tweet about GME because everyone does and as long as you are not owner of gamestop or the CEO then that is going to be fine as well.However dude tweeted about his own company, he joked about each stock being worth 420 dollars (4/20 weed day) and the price of the stock went up a ton during that period, now it is much higher than that but at the time it wasn't at 420 so it was an illegal thing. Simple fact that you can talk about euro, talk about Canadian dollar, talk about other stocks but you can't talk or joke about your own company, that is just not allowed and it does make sense to me as well.
