It looks like Elon Musk is the part that Bitcoin is missing and everyone is waiting for. See how quickly people were in a hurry to part with their bitcoins by sending them to the above-mentioned wallet. Imagine what would happen if Elon Musk wrote on his Twitter "Buy Bitcoin, I believed." And he will throw off a couple of screenshots from any exchange. This is to create an instant FOMO effect and then to the moon Grin.
Humans are so much greedy because those Twitter handles the hackers made  used where not Bitcoin fans; only some few ones. Personally I won't believe this tweet from Barak Obama because he's not among the bitcoiners but thousands quickly believed in these tweets. Let's not be greedy as hackers and scammers are mostly doublers.

Moreover, even after such hacks and deceiving people through the distribution of coins, hackers do not stop continuing to hack the YouTube channels of crypto enthusiasts.
As a result, people instantly forget about such a global hacking of Twitter, and continue to send money to YouTube hackers. It's incredible.

What's really surprising is that so famous and tech-savvy people like Musk, Gates and Bezos are not able to protect their twitter accounts. They look like silly newbies.

What nonsense. The hackers gained access not in a trivial way, but through Twitter's internal security service. The accounts of such public people are always reliably protected, this is obvious.

Big job for Twitter to protect big accounts. because this is the reputation stakes of twitter. especially if it is connected to crypto such as bitcoin. This is obviously very worrying because it can be used for criminal acts
It would be suspiciously strange if Elon Musk suddenly asked to drop a couple of bitcoins on his wallet)) Nevertheless, you should always put two-factor authentication and then your data will be reliably protected. But not a fact)

It turns out that bitcoin scammers have expanded to Twitter by hacking accounts of influencers who have high credibility and misusing the Twitter account. Of course, there are some people who will simply believe it, because this is a new model for the theft of money.

his account was also compromized? lol jesus whos account is safe in twitter?

Until now, there are still many cases of Twitter accounts being hacked, which means that all Twitter account owners cannot guarantee that the password is safe.
and it's not just twitter that's unsafe, even other social media isn't safe either

Its easy way to scam peoples twitter should care about it ..

They collected almost 13 bitcoins in a short time.
...

I didn't know what was the number of coins they get, but 13btc was cheap... and i mean it was cheap because a hack like that could cost us a World War. So, is good to know they handle the attack like noobs.

The real culprit behind this was  a 17 year old and his friends from Florida and now they the under custody of police. Grin Grin

Is hard to believe this... Would be nice if you could post the source for the next time.

Is the security of the account of someone who has grown up in that world still weak? I am also surprised by the number of hacks, especially those that are targeted are large exchanges. how can that easily happen they should provide a high level of security, in order to make it safe from hacking.

Do you realize that the hack occurred as a result of mistakes made by the Twitter employees? From what I have heard, some of the employees had their admin access compromised by the hackers. This allowed the criminals to reset the passwords for a large number of Twitter accounts, including those owned by people such as Elon Musk and Bill Gates. It is really unfair to blame Elon for the mistake of someone else.

I have two questions to ask:

1 = What does Elon Musk have to do with bitcoin?
2 = What does Twitter have to do with bitcoin?

Both can influence the demand due to the size of the scale that affects people and can add some kind of influence, but ultimately bitcoin has nothing to do with this story, it's the people who create this type of relationship.

Elon Musk and Twitter have not any relation with Bitcoin. A hacker hacked Elon Musk's Twitter account, I think he just wanted to fool people and extort money from them through Bitcoin. so, it is not the fault of Bitcoin, actually it is the fault of twitter's security. Twitter should tighten their security. on the other hand, we need to understand that Elon Musk will not ask for money from us under any circumstances. Finally, I would like to say, we need to be more careful in terms of payment and investment issue.

Twitter hacked events have been very viral on various social media, many talked about and become tranding topics. Because not only
Elon Musk whose Twitter account was hacked, many other famous peoples whose Twitter accounts were targeted by hackers. Like
Bill Gates and Jeff Bezos. This was done by hackers for widespread Bitcoin giveaway scams, and surprisingly proved successful in deceiving
hundreds of millions of dollars. Actually this incident if our vigilance is good, we can avoid the old methods of fraud like this.

You know that Donald trump had issues with Jack Dorsey over a threat Dorsey kicked against. These hackers are using bitcoin giveaway to scam people. what will be the new government regulation for social media and bitcoin. I pray US governement should not ban bitcoin.

Bitcoin has nothing to do with Twitter being hacked. They're not that stupid to use it as an excuse for doing something to BTC

Tweet removed.  But it was definitely from his account.  I blocked the wallet to prevent anyone silly enough to think he'd actually do anything like it.

Quite the high profile account to get hacked though.

I heard about this news about twitter hacking, it was very unexpected for this great platform to be hacked by black hat hackers. The worst aspect of the hack is that they are focusing on influential people's accounts. My concern is the hackers are using bitcoin as the object of the hack. how will the governement react to this?

This should give Jack a hell of concern. If hackers and scammers can easily log into his company and gain access to various high profile handles, then it's a thing of security breach and concern. Again, I am more concerned for the deluded minds who fell prey to the antics of the scammers by believing there's any free money anywhere online. Who does a giveaway by asking you to send them money first? This isn't the last of this type of scam. Next will be something like Carlos Slim or Trump asking people to send them ETH so they could send them back ETH and Bitcoin together. Greedy people are always gullible.

It was Twitter's negligence and about the tweet no generous people will ask to send first before they send their giveaway, this has been going for several months now if there are still falling for this, then it's their fault anymore, there are so many warning prior to this, they just need to do research.
