CCEDK is the registrar and host of OpenLedger wallet. We ar also the initiator and provider of the fiat and crypto bridge. As we believe Openledger is the future but still feel too early to dismis the opportunities with a centralized exchange especially with some upcoming news regarding our debitcard called NanoCard, we dont mind playing on two horses for the time being, who knows both horse might win if not in the same race!!

Ah, too bad I was hoping someone came up with a clever implementation of BOINCs, donations are better than nothing, the problem is that they aren't very sustainable.

I believe that the EMC folding project runs only on donations now and before this was supported directly from the team's own mining at https://pool.emercoin.com See Fixx's recent post below from the other thread, which indicates the team's direct support for the folding project has stopped.

 can someone tell me the details of how is the mining via folding@home done, or point me to the info? (not about how to mine, but about how the mining is organized, via premine funds or is it collected from Pos ?)

Personally, I'm a little confused at the dividing line between OpenLedger and CCEDK.com and hoping you could please summarize the differences between them or where I might see this information answered already. As I see, CCEDK.com is a centralized exchange, and OpenLedger runs on the Bitshares DEX.

Will ccedk.com be moving all its trading to OpenLedger in the future, or continuing to run a separate exchange?
Will there be EMC trading pairs on CCEDK as well as on Bitshares/OpenLedger?

I mine this coin for the very first day as it was annunced by the developer into their
Fixx PeerCoin Pool as a new corrency to use for many future projects (and this is what make me mine it).

So there was no massive pre- or instamine of Emercoin.
Else I run an alternative pool for over 1,5 year (now it is closed for server upgrade until April) as I like the right approach developers did to the coin.

They focus onto develops new features (the one you now see in it) and for the first year they buy Emercoin (with $) at a fixed price that was very hight for a new coin and they direct people to exchange it for real object instead of other digital currencies.
This is why you did not find many exchanges active for Emercoin now.

Lets go behind 2 years: miners actually want only to mine and then sell coins at the most high values in exchanges, so if you find a coin without exchanges you are bring to not mine it.

I had not sell a EMC and else I will go to buy others for use them for DNS in some servers I had.

I have read about massive pre- or instamine of Emercoin.
Is this really true?
Also I wonder a bit how small the community is for a coin that is in the top 10. There are no major exchanges (Bittrex is ok, but it's just in the second league if you compare the volume with Poloniex) where Emercoin is listed.
