Do you know what Mega Threads are?

I don't think he knows.
To be fair, the Chipmixer campaign (and probably others as well) had the same rule and it's ambiguous.  Sure, a thread with thousands or even 100 pages is a mega-thread, but what about one that has 30 or so and is growing fast?  I'm not arguing against the rule, since even a 30-page thread probably isn't worth posting in unless it's a well-known one like the WO one, but it's definitely open to interpretation on the manager's part and confusion on the participants' part.

A good rule of thumb is that if you trust your campaign manager, don't keep protesting uncounted posts if there's a rule like this one.  Or maybe I'm being naive; there's always the possibility of that.

Props to you, icopress!

I don't think he knows.

I understand that it is logical to take into account the posts written in those threads if you write occasionally, but I understand that the typical mega threads of the gambling section that may be of interest to a casino advertiser will not be of interest to a mixer, among other things because comments like on page 634 are soon buried.

I did checked the rules and refrain from posting to sections you mentioned.
Posts are disqualified because moderator doesn't like that?
Do you know what Mega Threads are?

These are threads with hundreds of pages of posts. Posts written in this kind of threads are instantly lost and such posts have zero marketing effect. Nevertheless, I kind of take into account posts in such threads, but not when the entire weekly quota fits into the framework of such threads.

Friends, thank you all for a great week / Your 2nd week payment is on the way.

It's likely that a few users will leave us next week as I don't like the trend of user posting 30 posts a week and not getting any meritю.

I think that's saying a lot.  Tongue

The merits in the French section should count triple because it is so difficult to get them  Grin

But it is important to post in the locals, otherwise they will die ...

I don’t think that those who publish posts for their own pleasure should be worried about this.

I hope that's because it's been during more than just one week. I did get a few merits lately but I've had weeks earning like 50 merits in one week and not a single one in the next.

I just want to remind that anyway Trust Wallet is owned by Binance, the biggest exchange in the world, which makes a ton of money every single day so I'm not saying that we should 100% trust them but I find very hard to believe that they would jeopardize everything they've built over a wallet spyware, it makes little sense to me, if someone would discover a spyware in their wallet it could mean the end for them and for the whole BNB/BSC ecosystem.
....and Google's motto used to be "Don't be evil".  Take that to mean companies have been known to do things that turn out to be very much against their interest--kind of like BTX, you know?  I wouldn't make any assumptions about what Binance would or wouldn't do based on the consequences they'd face if they got caught doing it, and that's true for any other business.

Enron, anyone?

Only the fact that the wallet is owned by a centralized exchange should be a monster flag for anybody to not use it ever.
Are we still talking about safety or is now a privacy problem? Because they're two different things.

Binance, the biggest exchange in the world

Should I remind that in 2014 Mt. Gox was also the biggest exchange in the world? Needless to remind what happened to it and to its clients, right?
2014 for bitcoin is like a geological era for bitcoin, everyone has his thoughts but placing on the same level an exchange from 2014 with another one 9 years later really makes no sense for me. Anyway I think we've highjacked the thread long enough Smiley

Or should I remind that Coinbase, one of biggest exchanges in the world, was caught selling clients' personal data?

Any association with a centralized exchange is like a plague, spreading more and more. Stay away from CEXs and stay away from closed source wallets held by CEXs!

About the bug on Trustwallet, someone complained it to me, but the person was able to send all his coins out of the wallet into another wallet. It is a bug. Still also good to know that a close source wallet should not be used, not because of this particular bug because an open source wallet can have such bug and be fixed, but because you do not know the kind of vulnerabilities that the developers may intentionally included into the wallet code, like spyware etc.

And just to be clear, as I said before I use Trust Wallet just to receive the bounty rewards, it's not my main storage wallet, I just prefer it for small transactions using the smartphone.

The problem with Blue Wallet is that it does not work with hardware wallets and for Lightning Network it only ofers a custodial wallet. Probably this is also why it is not listed as recommended on bitcoin.org. Electrum, on the other side, is recommended on bitcoin.org.

Just a small heads up: BlueWallet was/is closing the LN feature. The news about closing came in... February I think, I don't know when will they close the feature, but imho it's no longer a good idea to keep money in their (custodial) LN service.

In order to post reviews of the service, should we post them in the ANN thread[1] or will [banned mixer] create a dedicated thread review for this purpose?
I see no problem if you join the discussion in the main threadWink
