For Android seed phrase bitcoin wallet, I can recommend Bluewallet and Electrum.

The problem with Blue Wallet is that it does not work with hardware wallets and for Lightning Network it only ofers a custodial wallet. Probably this is also why it is not listed as recommended on bitcoin.org. Electrum, on the other side, is recommended on bitcoin.org.

Bitcoin wallet for Android should be recommendable, provided if the user can backup his wallet file properly and externally. The wallet does not support seed phrase, it support only file backup which is also have to be encrypted. As the file backup is encrypted, I have not gotten a way to decrypt it in a way I can see the seed phrase unless you use the wallet for recovery, but encrypting the seed phrase is recommended.

Indeed, this wallet does not have a seed phrase and, if you want to restore it after using it for a long time (e.g.: use it 3 years, export the wallet because you bought a new phone and restore the wallet on the new phone) it will take many hours to sync with blockchain, as it parses each block of the chain since the wallet was initially installed. Other than that, I had no problem with it.

About the bug on Trustwallet, someone complained it to me, but the person was able to send all his coins out of the wallet into another wallet. It is a bug. Still also good to know that a close source wallet should not be used, not because of this particular bug because an open source wallet can have such bug and be fixed, but because you do not know the kind of vulnerabilities that the developers may intentionally included into the wallet code, like spyware etc.[/quote]

This is true. And, who know?, maybe another bug led to this awkward situation encountered by Becassine...

Sorry if this is off-topic.

If you want an easy to use mobile wallet, try Bitcoin Wallet for Android. This may be the easiest to use wallet. It is listed as recommended on bitcoin.org and it's pretty secured. You can also try other wallets recommended on bitcoin.org.
For Android seed phrase bitcoin wallet, I can recommend Bluewallet and Electrum. There are others too, but I have these two on my Android device and I have tested it continuously many times with little funds on it. Electrum has released version with better user interface, although can not be compared with the desktop version which is better and have more features.

Great, at least my question seems less ridiculous after all and it may even be useful to others! Indeed this problem occurs on Trustwallet and I had never seen this before.

I strongly recommend you to avoid using Trust wallet. If you'll search the forum for users complaining about Trust wallet you'll find many such posts.

This topic is and example and hosseinimr93 explains it very well:

The seed phrase (also called mnemonic) generated by trustwallet is BIP39 and can be imported into many other wallets as well. Of course, this doesn't mean trustwallet is secure. Trustwallet is close source and we don't know whether they have access to users keys or not. It's also possible that you can't recover some of your altcoins due to not knowing the derivation path used by trustwallet.

The best is to avoid any close source wallet like trustwallet.

Charles-Tim, another experienced bitcoiner, explains same thing here:

Know that Trustwallet is close source, this is the reason I can not recommend it, but can be good for altcoins in a way no option for open source wallets, but the wallet is not recommended for being close source.

If you want an easy to use mobile wallet, try Bitcoin Wallet for Android. This may be the easiest to use wallet. It is listed as recommended on bitcoin.org and it's pretty secured. You can also try other wallets recommended on bitcoin.org.

But under no circumstance use a closed source wallet!

I hope this helps Smiley

By any chance are you using Trust Wallet? I just noticed it happened the same to me: I received the payment, the sum is ok but it doesn't show up any incoming transfer, and actually I noticed that even last week's payment transaction now disappeared from the transactions history. Not sure if there is some bug in the app after the last update at this point...  Huh
No, I'm a supporter of Electrum (to be honest, I had no idea that Trust Wallet has a desktop version of the wallet).
Still any slot for senior member sir?

I think you quoted wrong discussion in your post Smiley

Thank you very much for your answer. This transaction doesn't appear in the wallet I have for mysterious reason but the final sum is ok.

This time I looked on the blockchain directly because the transaction didn't appear either, like the first time (And thanks Icopress!).
There is no desktop version for TW, there is just an extension otherwise.

Please don't forget to review and test what you're promoting, I guess it's the least you can do to help the campaign become long-term.
In order to post reviews of the service, should we post them in the ANN thread[1] or will [banned mixer] create a dedicated thread review for this purpose?

PS: Thank you for the timely payments icopress, as always.

No, I'm a supporter of Electrum (to be honest, I had no idea that Trust Wallet has a desktop version of the wallet).
For bounties and small transactions I use the app on a smartphone, not sure there is a desktop version (which I wouldn't use anyway). I find TW easier for this kind of little things.

dont be greedy
We still have slots open, especially for Full Members.

Actually, I would like to contribute to this campaign, but a few days ago, I was promoted to Sr. Member. If you're willing to accept me at the Full Member payment rate, that's fine with me.

[1]: When reviewing applications, the campaign manager pays attention to many details, including; how informative and organic your posts are, for what and how often you get merit, do you have a customized trust list and do you use a feedback system.
No doubt I should have asked this before applying, but how does a customized trust list come into play when considering applicants?

I'd say for people like you, it doesn't matter that you wiped off your trust list. I wiped mine as well. The rest of the considerations about your profile outweigh the potential negatives of not having a custom trust list.

I'm also not sure about the "do you use a feedback system" thing, i.e., what you mean by that.

If you leave feedbacks to others, which you have done a lot.

(this is what I believe, icopress correct me if I am wrong)
