ETH, like most other coins, has lost a lot of positions. But do not say that this is the end. We have already seen such a picture, when after a rapid rise in prices follows a decline. Therefore, we expect the bull market.
I don't think that this will be the end of Ethereum. I mean there are many things that we need to consider before the demise of a certain coin. And certainly the performance of Ethereum is not even that abysmal compared to other coins. I am sure that the coin will be able to rebound to higher prices once we can amass new players in the crypto markets. New investors and players to trade and invest.

Ethereum has one of the strongest team developers and project set ambitious goals for the future with solving nowadays scalability problems. Soon new hardfork will be implemented in mainnet and, I guess, it will be a good reason to grow. 
Some time it takes months to recover a coin and all is the demand of that if you supplier need Ethereum you have to pay them in Ethereum and it will never end because now the price of Ethereum is $198.94 which is still good and growing but not like past it is showing any recovery still we need it for a good future and the users of Ethereum is also rising.
I don't think the ETH is over, and this is the time for ETH investment. we can buy and save it. because you believe that in the beginning of 2019 prices will increase again ... there are still investors and various kinds of parties looking for ... hopefully that can be true
while ethereum is still widely used by many people, ethereum will never die, on the contrary when cheap prices are as good as we buy more ethereum and hold it until a few months later...
I follow the news about https://whirl.com platform and with each new article I beleive more and more that it is a worthwhile project. The team looks very professional, now they are going to start bounty campaign and pre-ico... I'm not so long ago in such projects but I'm very exciting to see something very interesting like that!
If we are looking on the marketcap, the total volume of transaction form Ethereum is still high, I think there is small chance that ethereum will era will end that easy, and also there are many projects that still using Ethereum as their platform.
Yes, it proves that ethereum will survive in this time and the price will increase later. Maybe we don't know when ethereum will start to increase, but we know when the best time to buy ethereum so don't let this chance disappeared because we cannot buy any ethereum if the price increase higher. Ethereum itself still strong in the market, although the price is up and down in every day ethereum, can back to increase for a little price.
None can guarantee the end of any coins and all currencies are volatile of course. But the inventor of the Ethereum himself declared the downfall of the coin, so it might be taken to concern. But also, it can defy the predictions too, you just have to be patient.
Too early to comment on the ending for ETH. I know there are many thoughts of many investors who are losing patience and thinking ETH will fall into despair. The end of this year will answer for the panic of many people.
Ethereum will not end, it has built a strong ecology in recent years, I think in the future Ethereum application will be more, more and more people will like and use ethereum.

The end of Ethereum?? What are u speaking about? Ethereum is still number two in the CMC, the most ICOs need Ethereum platform, Ethereum is the most liquid crypto currency after Bitcoin! You call it "looking really bad"?
Ethereum still has a position on the CMC, no one has replaced it so don't say bad things about eth. I still believe eth will have more value and will increase, but if the OP only panics the holders, I hope this will not work. The market provides concrete evidence of this.

this project, many ico projects who's using the platform are also affected by this downfall, in the longer perceptions it's all about understanding the project and how far will you believe for its success.

Of course it will be restored. Ethereum is not a simple coin, it serves as the basis for a large number of tokens. This is the reason why ETH will live long.

That's normal situation in the cryptocurrency market . I believe Ethereum will recover because Ethereum is the strong coin , there are many ico projects that are using it and this isn't the end of Ethereum , it's an oportunity for us to buy it .
