How come I never see chipmixer signatures on the gambling section? I've run mixing gigs in the past, most of the traffic came from gambling related activity. I wonder what sort of asset you see on super niche local boards above that. Waste of money IMO.

There's also some people that could be replaced by some of the new applicants which are better posters.

Sorry for interrupting here as it might feel like I'm trying to hijack this thread with some spam here 'Roll Eyes'

SPB (don't want to use your full name), as I went through the conditions of the campaign I don't see any necessity or compulsion for posting specifically into gambling section 'as there are some campaigns with requirements to post there and I've seen people spreading a lot of 💩 there with their unhygienic posts that doesn't match the criteria of being called as high quality, yet those posts are accepted'. IMO, Chipmixer is a different kind of campaign that does not limit you to post in a specified board\s/ to make it worthless with lots of shitposting there but has got well qualified users who have got the guts to post from their main account to apply. Do you have it?

Why NO POST main account? So much IRRITATED inside, ANGER outside. If you think you deserve a spot here than any of the users you claim to have better posts against, why didn't you post from your main account? If you were a trusted member who comes under an exception, I don't see DS hesitating in contacting you.

My love for ARM remains.

Out of Intel and amd, Intel is generally more reliable. Anyone I know who's competent with computers and has used amd always say its not very good. I don't think speed is everything, faster clockspeeds often mean less efficiency and more instability (even undervolted).

You haven't been following recent developments Tongue

Ryzen is actually good, TSMC 7nm is more efficient than Intel 14nm++, and IPC is about the same or better on the AMD side. This isn't Bulldozer anymore!

Minor update, payments will be sent tonight. Need to reinstall Windows (yay!)

No rush Smiley I think we can handle some delays.

And yes misplacing the CPU definitely fucks things up.

I prefer the smooth way of delivering power of intel vs amd. Each time I had an AMD the raw performance was always good, but in terms of usability I always experienced hickups that never came up with intel. Maybe things changed since then tho. My HW is pretty old now.

I had the same thing with AMD graphics. They looked like a great value for the money but then came problems with compatibility my friends with nvidia did not have. You had to spend some more time setting up the graphics in different games and some offered special features for nvidia users like physx. Intel seems overpriced but from what I've experienced you pay more for additional quality.

That said, I had only 1 processor in 20 years die on me and it was an intel. Roll Eyes

I forgot more than you will ever know.

AMD is PGA so it's the CPU pins that are bent. I think the cause was that I didn't place the CPU in the socket properly which ended up causing some pins to bend.

I can drop in a 3600 without any other hassle so no Intel (and Meltdown/other vulnerabilities) for me  Wink

Update: Definitely broken despite my best efforts to fix :/
Payments will be sent at around 2 pm MDT as the store opens at 11 am.

I don't even want to ask how you managed to do that?

What cpu did you kill?

Was swapping motherboards and I guess it broke when I pulled it out of the socket. Cooler might have put too much pressure as well (accidently made it way too tight).

Fortunately it's only a Ryzen 5 1600 so not too bad. Might end up as an excuse to upgrade to third gen Ryzen but I'd still rather fix it if possible.
Go get a new-gen ryzen. Great value for money!

Too much pressure shouldn't bend pins. It could only bend the motherboard as far as I am aware of.

The only time I saw bent pins is when someone tried to mount a cpu the wrong way and they got fiddled up with the pins of the motherboard.

Hopes you get it sorted out. If not switch to Intel Wink

Payments might have to be sent tomorrow. Accidently bent some CPU pins and the local tech store is closed so I can't buy a replacement. Hopefully I'll get it fixed in the next few hours but it will have to wait for tomorrow otherwise. I apologize for the delay.

be constructive or S.T.F.U
more or less they are all over in the forum except some sub boards where signature space is not visible like Serious discussion

There are other boards that are nearly 100% spam free, full of quality posts ,and the mods don't play around, I hardly manage to report anything there before a mod sees and deletes it, for obvious reasons I won't be naming them !  Roll Eyes

Overall, any technical related section tends to have less shitposters, because topics in those places are not about opinions or speculations, it's either you know what you are talking about or you will look like an idiot and eventually get nuked due to the number of good reports against you , therefore those who have no knowledge about the field ,may only ask a question or two once in a while but they will never be able to actually blend in , the exact opposite is true, a section with topics that are opinions / thoughts based is spammers' paradise.

I'm open to getting more people who are active in Gambling (such as Royse777) but it's not a huge priority at the moment.
Aww! That's nice to hear my name here. I am eagerly waiting for my shot :-)

Back to the topic about posters in Gambling section, there are a lot of people in the gambling section who produce quality contents not just doing it for their activity count.

At least new cricketing threads are moving to the right direction.

I do agree that the certain people should be removed from this campaign. Bob123 for example has admitted to intentionally deceiving someone in order to cause harm to the person by exposing what he knew was secret information. Chipmixer has a business model that relies upon their customers trusting them with confidential information (the link between the inputs and outputs), and I don’t see why anyone would trust Chipmixer to do this if they are paying someone like bob to advertise for them

I am starting to get annoyed by your attempts to discredit me as well as damaging my reputation.
How many threads did you hijack with your baseless claims already? 4 ?

Unfortunately it seems that in order to not get discredited by you, i have to answer in each of them.
Let's make this short:

1. I did not expose secret or confidential information.
2. The seller was offering hacked accounts.
3. This - admittedly unethical - action has lead to 2 accounts being returned to their original owner, preventing damage to the buyer of the accounts and (more importantly) the legitimate and original owner of them.

If you want to call 'returning hacked accounts back to the original owner by deceiving the hacker/seller' as intentionally causing harm.. then this is your point of view.

But stop posting some baseless claims - completely out of context - in threads not dedicated to this topic.

I do understand, that you - as #4 of the least trusted members here and an account farmer / seller - hate me with your full passion.
However.. if you still have something to say regarding this topic, use the two threads already existing.

I have seen others post in a dev and tech thread saying, among other things that he doesn’t have a clue how the subject of the thread works, presumably to increase his post count and/to to show he posts in the sub.

I know cwrth did it when applying for this round, and maybe a few others, but from what I've seen/read it doesn't seem to be a huge issue. There's some inaccurate/pointless posts that I don't pay for, but it's decent most of the time. If there's someone who's really bad for this feel free to PM me and I'll send you a small bounty if they end up being removed.

Thanks for remembering, DS. Well, originally, the ones that fit me is the posting in the Local Board. Reading the criteria needed for the slot might as well participate in it. For me, it opened another board that I need to learn more and possibly participate more in those categories. I just hope it wasn't me who had the pointless posts or is it?. Lol.
