I have seen others post in a dev and tech thread saying, among other things that he doesn’t have a clue how the subject of the thread works, presumably to increase his post count and/to to show he posts in the sub.

I know cwrth did it when applying for this round, and maybe a few others, but from what I've seen/read it doesn't seem to be a huge issue. There's some inaccurate/pointless posts that I don't pay for, but it's decent most of the time. If there's someone who's really bad for this feel free to PM me and I'll send you a small bounty if they end up being removed.

dogs are cute.
I do agree that the certain people should be removed from this campaign. Bob123 for example has admitted to intentionally deceiving someone in order to cause harm to the person by exposing what he knew was secret information. Chipmixer has a business model that relies upon their customers trusting them with confidential information (the link between the inputs and outputs), and I don’t see why anyone would trust Chipmixer to do this if they are paying someone like bob to advertise for them — this is not unlike a daycare center paying Jeff Epstein to advertise for them.
Do you have any links/proof/actual evidence for any of this?? I haven't read much in the forum for a couple of weeks at least, so please do link me down of said admission, and whatever the issue is, I am sure DarkStar_ and chipmixer would handle it in their own way as they please.

Or...there's a fair chance that the user is trying to learn by actively trying to participate in discussions, and even if someone is wrong, they could be corrected. That's the actual purpose of the forum you know Wink. Albeit, there have been times where people post random ass crap just to increase their post count and stuff, but I am pretty sure that chipmixer participants know that there's a fair chance of them getting removed if they do that, don't worry honeybun xoxo.

How come I never see chipmixer signatures on the gambling section? I've run mixing gigs in the past, most of the traffic came from gambling related activity. I wonder what sort of asset you see on super niche local boards above that. Waste of money IMO.

There's also some people that could be replaced by some of the new applicants which are better posters.
The gambling sub has a lot of spam (as others have mentioned). Even if you are a good poster, your posts will not necessarily be seen as much as if you were posting elsewhere because the spam posts will drown out your posts.

There's decent enough coverage in Gambling so I'm okay with it for now. Off the top of my head, there's me, buwaytress, SyGambler and harizen who post in Gambling. I'm pretty active browsing in that section and unfortunately there's just way too much spam everywhere.

I'm open to getting more people who are active in Gambling (such as Royse777) but it's not a huge priority at the moment.

There's good posters on the gambling section believe it or not, some good bookers and insight here and generally well written posts. Just because you post there, it doesn't mean you can't be a good overall poster.

It's ironic that you are wearing that sig which basically is viable due gamblers clicking on it.
Even if good posters made good posts in Gambling Discussion, their good posts will be fastly burried by hundreds of shit posts. I believe this is reason why good posters rarely or never make their posts in Gambling Discussion, as well as in Altcoins / Bitcoin discussion. Those boards are one of the most shady ones in the forum, covered by shit posts. For a long time ago, I read someone else wrote that if Newbie Jail brings back, newbies should be allowed to make their posts in those boards, only, before they surpass some steps to get their accounts whitelisted.

Not that your post deserves a reply but.. legitimacy and integrity goes far beyond traffic and the members that are taking part in this, the most coveted campaign, has all of the reputation that you could possibly want to represent your brand.

How about hiring someone with legitimacy and integrity that posts on a relevant board like the gambling section? not everyone is a spammer there, there are good posts, and people will actually click on your banner to mix coins.

Gambling board is a spam board, imo. Nobody reads anything there (but Google), just post. Like altcoin board.

You won't find high quality posts there. Just megathreads with 40 pages.

I believe that the members that are promoting chipmixer are doing a very good job. So many knowledged and trusted members of the community promoting a service makes that service looks reliable.

I would really like to join this campaign and I think I am as good posters as most members here, I don't  think it is fair to replace old members because someone looks a better poster (I would not like if that happened to me). This idea of "better" depends on the time a person has available, the boards hgoes, and it is very difficult to measure. Some boards lack merits, while others you can easily farm them, so merit is not a good metric.

Here's the deal, innit?

Sometimes, high-quality posters (terrible that we even have to use this term) post in Gambling or other spam-heavy sections. Why don't we see those posts? Because it's a spam-heavy section. One good post is buried under scores of other useless regurgitated posts.
The very fact that we can distinguish between "good" sections and "bad" sections just shows how poorly the forum has been doing from a discussion perspective. This is supposed to be a forum of communication, not one of repetition by those that have no idea what they're talking about.

I post in Gambling if there's something worth talking about. Unfortunately, 99% of those posts are just part of the useless circlejerk sigspam gang.

Good luck to the applicants! It's funny to see how many people are applying without any history of meeting the criteria you've laid out.

It's almost as if people blindly apply without reading any of them...

Good luck to the applicants! It's funny to see how many people are applying without any history of meeting the criteria you've laid out.
Due to the highest payment rates of ChipMixer campaign, for now, people go crazy and forget prerequisites of applications:
There is an original announcement of manager
There is one open slot. This slot is for those who are one (or more) of:
- Active in a Local board(s)
- Active in Bitcoin Technical Support
- Active in Development & Technical Discussion

Don't bother applying if you don't fit any of those categories. I don't accept people based on promises, and I will look at more than one page of your post history so don't bother making one or two posts to 'fit' the critera either. Yahoo's LiveCoin blacklist is in effect for this round. Also, PMing me won't help your application. It's just annoying  Undecided
Then, manager reemphasized criteria
Just to clarify, I don't need all three criteria. Just looking for posters that fit that category (ie I don't need more people who primarily post in Bitcoin/Trading Discussion, Speculation, Economics, etc)
So, please from now on, if you don't meet at least one of those criteria, please do not go crazy and make non-sense applications.
Honestly, I observed the campaign for months, to see my chances to join the gang, but this time, I still didn't see my chance, so did not apply.
