Not that it’s anyone’s business here but, the money is still going to Ukrainians, just via a friend in Poland who is renting a house with his own money for 2+ displaced families.
Although the government of Poland is helping with many things, he is about to hit a very large financial wall. Sad

Payments for this week of the campaign have been sent, using an exchange rate of 1 BTC = $38100 USD*. (046826107fb30357001f193edcc56e2cc70aadf4f96cb9f0efd861f7cd2ee80a)

* I accidentally messed up and used last week's exchange rate of $39790 instead of the current exchange rate of $38100, so people's payments will be ~4.4% less than what they should be. I will add this difference to next week's payment, as the amounts are fairly small. I apologize for the inconvenience.

Cool! I'm close to my Sr. Rank, so I'd just put the signature once I have the signature space (if it's allowed Smiley).

Congratulations to the accepted friends. It is certain that they are accepted because they are better than us. What we need to do is to improve ourselves and improve ourselves more. Maybe then they will accept us for this signature.

nice forums to all, regards

Does it mean that results are not final?

The people who were accepted are accepted into the campaign. That's not going to change.

If you have used algorithm to select participants, could you tell what were the criteria?

I intend on using an algorithm to determine if there are any profiles that may be a good candidate that I might have missed, or to gain higher confidence that the choices I'm making are correct. Everyone is and still will be manually reviewed - nothing will be fully decided based on "the algorithm". I will not share the criteria because it will likely change from time to time and I do not want to influence people's behaviours.

Is it fair to accept participant which do not fulfil the base criteria for applying? I suppose he will not be added to campaign until he collect enough activity points, right?

I gave n0nce special permission to apply. You are correct that he will not be added to the campaign until he reaches Sr. Member.

Or we should say that all forum members are equal but some are more equal than others?

With the rank system in place I don't think this forum was ever egalitarian with respect to signature campaigns  Tongue

Just a few questions:

Best regards,

I haven't answered to the questions that I'm not related to under this type of topics so far. But as I see a post that is blaming a very valuable forum member like n0nce, I feel the need of writing an answer. The ranks on the forum are definitely important but they don't mean everything. For example, would a forum member like laszlo who has contributed to Bitcoin and Bitcointalk community a lot need to be placed below a Sr Member user if laszlo comes back today? Besides, you will see that n0nce's posts are much more efficient than most of Legendary users' if you examine n0nce's posts.

Accepted, please PM me once you change your signature. Thanks!

If you weren't accepted, I would recommend not deleting your application (at least for a little while). There was some software related analysis that I wanted to do but didn't have time to fully finish, which might result in a few more changes in the campaign. This is because I used a different process than usual to select the people who were accepted in the end, and I realized that I'd be able to get some neat insights and see if there's anything that I might have unknowingly missed by automating it a little bit.

Wow! This is a huge development for campaigns and users alike. It is largely a quality over ranks and carries with it a message that quality are not defined by ranks.

Congratulations to all who got accepted into the campaign. You've all made your mark into the forum and Nonce has surely made a remarkable one for users not quiet far below the qualification of a campaign. To have dared it is courageous indeed.

Wow how could we have even dared to apply in presence of Rikafip and n0nce, congratulation on join such a prestige and only campaign I many would love to join.

You guys are definitely and a big addition to the forum keep it up.

Note to self: Prove yourself first, then apply for such "campaign", not after you are selected.

It's an honour to be accepted by ChipMixer
I think it's more of an honor for ChipMixer to have the discovery of the year wearing their signature.

Welcome! Well deserved.

Wow, thank you so much! It's an honour to be accepted by ChipMixer, especially that you did such a big exception about my account status (roughly 2 weeks until Sr. Member). I will change the signature as soon as the software allows me to!

Thanks also for all the congratulations; I don't yet know all of you but having the 'approval' of LoyceV, cygan and other 'big names' via DM really means a lot guys, you made my day today. Smiley

Congratulations to all three new Participants in the Campaign!
Nice to see that the Forum Rank is not the Point to get a Place in the Campaign, only the Quality of the Posts counts. n0nce really deserves it, Congrats!

Congratulations to all those who made it in to this prestigious campaign, its not always an easy get in for sure.

Most of all, a big congrats to n0nce to have made this history and mark on the campaign. You know, I never took note of the applications neither have I been watching the n0nce user but, this particular incident made me look and I wonder whom would have denied him a spot in his campaign. The user is no shit poster and is quite practical in his or her discussions.

Chipmixer really did good in picking this one. Where rank doesn't qualify you, your quality becomes the qualifier. Nice one n0nce and Chipmixer for proving this point. Congrats!!!
