The spreadsheet has multiple people with vanity addresses, and basic non-segwit addresses. If the campaign manager added them, it means his rule isn't enforced.
This campaign started before SegWit even existed. Rules change for new participants.

I'd like to add that arguing about the rules your breaking doesn't generally make you look better. In my opinion, it would be most beneficial to take the suggestions, learn from the mistakes and give it another try once you've made the necessary adjustments. The rule is that new participants must apply with a Segwit address, which part of that rule hasn't been enforced?

Please stop arguing about this point. Yes, I made a mistake and I didn't follow a rule written by the OP. In the end he is the one allowing and denying entry to his campaign. If I was going to be allowed and he tells me to provide a segwit address, I would have to oblige. It adds nothing to keep commenting on it.

I'm proudly saying this that we at Chipmixer are completely different people, we're all family here. Unlike other campaigns and campaign managers, we really like to involve in a matter we feel that needs some explanation - be it coming from the campaign manager or us (the participants). As well, as clearly as I (and everybody here) can see, bill didn't really argue with you but tried to help you in your case where you were arguing about non-segwit and vanity addresses. It's really your choice to decide with what attitude you take it, whether you take it as a suggestion or an argument - clearly a case of either misunderstanding or ego hurt. You're not literally enforced by someone to use SegWit here, but as everyone knows, SegWit is really helpful in saving fees and so it is being asked here - it's not for the self-interest of campaign manager but for the participants' convenience.

Wow, i just found out about the ChipMixer campaign and i have spent some time reading the post here in the thread. You try to help the new participants and you communicate with each other in a friendly way! This is something that you can not find often these times in a forum.

I would really like to join the campaign cause i do really like the way its participants wear the signature with proud and of course the payment is very good aswell!

Please let me know when a slot will be open Grin

I somehow missed your reply. I created a segwit address to try and re-apply for this campaign if you/Darkstar are interested in inviting me:

As bill said, you’re the one questioning the rules.
I do think everyone should have to use a segwit address at sone point (is it long enough yet darkstar)?

They don’t have to use ones like bech32 immediately but segwit addresses with a 3 might be nice...

Literally your last post, an hour ago, was saying that the campaign manager isn't enforcing their own rules. You are incorrect, so I provided an explanation and offered you to clarify your position, in case there was something you knew that I didn't.

Ignoring the fact that your address isn't a SegWit address (thanks for removing that part), the campaign is still full.

Can you sign a message from that address? There's huge gaps in your post history from August 24, 2016 to May 08, 2017 and then June 06, 2017 to September 06, 2018.

If you want a shot at this campaign you should probably follow what actmyname said, but also be more active here.

I take big breaks because I don't deal with bitcoin a lot. I participated in multiple sig campaigns before, I'm still who I claim to be.

The user was probably removed and replaced with the two new people.

Hi, I noticed there's a user with low quality posts on your spreadsheet. Maybe you'd want a replacement. I can write high quality posts.

Read this:

Nope, I'm "burning" it. Basically what ends up happening is I struggle deciding between people so I usually pick two even when there's one slot open. I currently don't want to bring the campaign to 60 members (technically there's supposed to be 55, we're now at 58)
