You really should increase the character count on this signature campaign.  Look at all the shitposts from useless spammers and trust abusers like suchmoon just to earn money from this campaign: https://bitcointalksearch.org/user/suchmoon-234771

I think this might have turned into the biggest funder of spam and launderer of stolen funds on this forum.  Amazing what people will turn their heads to so long as the right pockets are being greased...
I agree with you, the overall level of his last posts seems to be rather low but a thread is open to report signature spam :

Report a Signature Campaign Spammer!

... and this thread mainly deals with your campaign actually...
You can even find a post from Stake CEO linking a message of apologizes.

I messaged SteveStake when I created this thread asking him to comment, and pointing him to this thread. It seems he has responded by creating this thread soliciting reports of signature spammers.

I haven't been very active on this forum but have been receiving PM's the past month regarding the spam. Honestly we have failed to responsibly moderate this campaign and the result has been endless spam.

I just talked to the Stake team yesterday about shuttering the signature campaign. They will first begin today by removing all the low value posters, in a weeks time if there is not a drastic improvement I will see that the campaign is terminated.

Sorry for annoying everyone with this, we owe much of our success to this forum and we must do better.

I'm sorry but your campaign is a campaign of spammers. Weirdly there is no public spreadsheet available where we can check who belong to your campaign, but every time I see any guy from this campaign he's spamming long garbage shitposts and he got red feedbacks or neutral feedbacks saying he is a spammer...

The payrates explicitly encourage spam

@RickDeckard, I'm pretty sure this kind of campaign doesn't require 8 hours of work a day for a manager. As you know the payout is once a week, and the biggest job is to count and review the posts of all campaign participants at the end of each week since the payout day is Sunday.

Maybe @DarkStar_ has some other tactics, but what I post above seems most logical to me.

Have you ever considered that posting more than 100 characters does not imply that the post was paid? I do more than just check if a post is above 100 characters  Tongue
I can tell you right now that suchmoon has made many posts greater than 100 characters in length that were not paid for.
I wonder, and I apologize if you've answered this before, but how many hours do you focus on the overall management of this campaign? Is it something that can be considered full time (as in 8 hours per day) or do you have some kind of tools that allow you to "lean" the process and make the management/evaluation of the posts being made more easier?

If these questions are too much of information to be given, that's OK as well DarkStar_ and I'm sorry for them. I was just curious regarding the impact that managing a campaign of such magnitude has in the daily life of whoever is running it.

The fact trolls get paid money by ChipMixer to make posts like this shitting on other people's creations, in this case the richest man in the world trying to make human beings a multi-planetary species, is disgusting and insulting to this community.  This campaign needs to do better.  Maybe have some standards for ChipMixer signature participants.

Managing participants based on opinions is something that I do not ever plan on doing. People may (and do) share different views than me and that's perfectly okay - the most I can try to do is to convince them otherwise. Are you proposing that the standard should be that ChipMixer signature participants support anything that you (OgNasty) agrees with? If so, why would it make any sense to base it off of your perspective? I must have missed the memo where you setup an authoritarian government on the forum and began censoring alternate viewpoints.

If you'd like to report spammers, be my guest. I'm happy to listen to your concerns, and decide whether or not action should be taken. However, maybe try reporting someone that you don't have a personal vendetta against.

That seems to play to their target audience of scammers needing to launder stolen funds which maybe is why it works so well and they're paid so handsomely for it.
Yes, money laundering is a crime, but ChipMixer also provides privacy. If you put money laundering above privacy, you can make an accusation and see if it gets recognized. I highly doubt libertarian Bitcoiners will agree as it goes against free speech, free markets and freedom of choice.

Until then, stop derailing this thread. You just expose an inhibited behavior.

You're gonna use this thread now to comment on my every post? I'm flattered but that's not necessary and seems spammy.

My apologies to Elon Musk for thwarting his interplanetary plans with a comment on an internet forum.

You should know that everyone in the Chipmixer signature is a reputable member of the forum which post quality and helpful posts.

I would disagree.  I think many of them are trolls who post here constantly trying to make a living off this forum regardless if they provide any value or not.  The only way for them to do that because they have no actual skills is to start fights and spread lies so they can endlessly troll and bicker their way to a paycheck.  That seems to play to their target audience of scammers needing to launder stolen funds which maybe is why it works so well and they're paid so handsomely for it.

This is the kind of trolling nonsense I come to expect from members of this campaign.  You can see this idiot didn't even read the post and just made some trolling remark about a picture of a prototype.  These trolls aren't bettering bitcointalk or even following the no trolling rules but get away with it because of advertising dollars.  Many of them make this forum worse for anyone who tries to do anything productive and this campaign pays them for it.  Absolute garbage.

You should know that everyone in the Chipmixer signature is a reputable member of the forum which post quality and helpful posts.Regarding your saying that it is Ok to work for scammers I totally disagree because if you were smart enough, you should have known that there are a lot of bounties in the Altcoin section which pay you more and you would not have negative feedback now if you took the time to do some research there.Personally when I was in economic troubles (thank God long ago) and all signatures were full I was a couple of times wearing Altcoin bounties signatures. My point is that there is always a way out as long as you stay honest and humble even in very difficult times. That is my experience at least.

You really should increase the character count on this signature campaign.

Even with an increased character count, it is possible to write up many long (say 300-char) posts that are just plain gibberish. For examples, see members of bounty camapgins, 1xbit, and low (<$40/week) paying campaigns.

I wonder what y'all are really portraying,... I thought op's of higher rank and mods always made rules being pinned on every board just to guide newbies but why the mess?
Information can transform anyone and I don't need anyone to tell me that you both have a big misunderstanding  Embarrassed
Well you better get over this obnoxious fracas and behave matured for once. Oh please, you're meant to lead us as far as the forum is concerned. @suchmoon is really a thorn to donator's flesh though but please, what ever might be the problem should be resolved amicably. No offense,I'm not supporting anyone, yeah!

No offense [and pun not intended], but this is exactly the kind of posts I'm talking about and it's even right here.

It took me a while but yet,I haven't still gotten your point. What are your objections ?
Be specific and make it exemplary so I can take corrections
Maybe you misquoted me   Smiley

Well,I don't really know why you're inquisitive but it's fine.
Point one: not everyone that works in a scam accused campaign is a scammer.
Point two: you had the privilege most of us don't since you joined the forum when it wasn't credible.(I wouldn't wanna explain further but I'm sure You've gotten my point)

Have you ever asked yourself 'bout the cost of living and economic crisis in most countries of the world? You are comfortably earning stipends from the highest paying campaign and you just think all is well with everyone??
No ,come on..!! it wasn't my initial intentions (you can check that out from the quality of post I make every single time)but you see, things just changed and I had to help myself outta the nearest means I thought I could.
Most peeps in 1xbit don't even have shelter over their heads at night, its appalling!
I know most of them are scammers though, ain't tryna defend 'em but you could possibly differentiate a "sheep from a goat" even if they're kept in the same stall ........
I have no more to say 😑😑
No offense bud.

LOL nice try to retaliate for my post in your thread.

This is indeed rich.  He'll throw his own business partner under the bus to save his fragile ego.  You have been quite effective at pointing out his numerous flaws, so now he's under the impression that his only recourse is to attack your ability to earn some income.  Only a truly desperate and hypocritical cad would behave this way, but we already knew that about OG's character.

Many of those posts are not paid (P&S, WO, under 100 chars, etc). I never promised to change my posting habits to fit the campaign and never will, so if you think that I'd post more pleasant things about your ludicrous "club" if I weren't in this campaign, you're mistaken.
