At the beginning of January 2018, the Gibraltar Financial Services Commission (GFSC) introduced a new license regime, and is now one of the first jurisdictions in the world to provide regulatory certainty for companies utilizing Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT). DLT Regulations (GFSC).

The GBX will apply for a DLT Provider’s license from the GFSC.

The GBX team is also excited to introduce plans for the RockToken (RKT) serving its ecosystem in three primary ways:

1.  Signal community membership and shared buy-in in the overall vision
2.  Deliver a premium experience for certain users and traders corresponding to their comfort with the industry
3.  Incentivize and reward community members for upholding GBX values of transparency
