not all jr.member spamming, but why are we generalized to a newbie, even though many of them are late trying to make good posts, but it's hard now we get merit, are they the ones we fear if many get merit they will feel Compared to the bounty program, I feel that those of us above are worried that if many of us get merit, the amount of prizes from the bounty will decrease because the bounty cursed the pool system, therefore many members here are trading merit and accounts, is this fair, many of them 1 person who has more than 1 account, this is not fair
This is another step for making the spam on the forum lesser. A merit is not that hard to get if you really want to get one and participate on signature campaigns.
This newly implemented feature is good for me since Jr. Members who doesn't have merit are demoted to newbies and at the same time, can't participate in signature campaign.
This lessen the spam on the forum at least but the social media reports are still there and it contributes to the spam too. I hope this will be the next thing theymos will solve in the next feature but overall, I like this

More proof why we need a merit requirement to become a Junior. Nuked the Newbie but not going to waste ten minutes deleting all the posts of the Junior.

The new policy is really good, it helps reduce spam and has many quality posts
I think you do so right, there are now many fraudulent projects, posting some unreasonable post. I have a small suggestion that all projects or discussions on an issue need to be reviewed before posting to avoid spam. Thank for new rules by admin
This decision is quite appalling seeing that a lot of us are stuck on Jr Members all these while only to be demoted to Newbie.
I have made several quality comments, I've attended to issues judiciously without any form of mistakes, I have also been an active participant on Bitcointalk. The most annoying part of it all is, no moderator has given me merit before.
I have complained over and over, my comments have been highly recommended yet, I've not ascertained any merit till date.
I wish the 36 merit sources will be good in their judgements and reward us accordingly.

It is difficult to receive a Merit from members who have merit. If I say that there are many people selling their merit, do you believe it? .There are people who post hundreds of content but they do not receive any merit.
And you're not likely to receive a merit from members who have merit if your "content" is mostly bounty posts.
Honestly, I hope to become Jr. Member needed 5 Merit Points. And also, in near future I hope there's "KYC" on bounty sub forum 
I currently have received more merit than everyone in the forum except for 218 people, and I have not received sufficient merit to achieve Full Member status, but am a Legendary member only because I was grandfathered in. ~ Surely there are more than 220 people who make sufficiently good posts to be a Full Member.
Full Member requires 100 Merit, you have earned 141. As of last Friday, 343 users have received 100 or more Merit (and 423 users received 90, which is enough if they started with 10 airdropped Merits).are you happy jon?
@theymos: how can this user still have a signature? Is it only removed when someone reaches 30 Activity?Update: I created a new account last week, that one still has signature and Personal Text. I kinda like it: a Newbie starts with some perks, and has 30 Activity to prove he's worth keeping it. If not, it disappears.
Personally, I think the merit issue for Jr.Member is very reasonable because that will help the forum become cleaner and restrict the cheater in the bounty, many will review their actions and contribute more positively and effectively to the forum. But in return, I still hope that the senior members and higher, even legends and veteran members, they should be positive and give merit to others if they are worthy because I see a lot of senior members ignoring those contributions, I can even say they are stingy and selfish when they are never encouraged for newbie or jr member

This is certainly an excellent solution for fighting with spammers and bots, but it also hit users who do not deal with spam and do not have merits. Those like me. In this regard, I had to buy a copper member in order to wear a signature. I do not deal with spam (except bounty reports 
), I write meaningful posts, but I did not get merit for it, apparently my posts are useless.
And I don't wanna to mess with the buying of merit, because I do not want to be banned. Now I just need to be more useful on the forum and try to write more informative posts.

By the way, if you want finally overcome the spam on the forum, you should forbid to post reports in the bounty threads and make it throught google form.

very much bouty need jr member . and difficult to have a metrit i have 238 activity but not get metrit . today i become newbie verry sad i think better if need 200 activity to become jr. even 5p i can post 1 that meaning i only can work 20 bouty for a day before i can made 100 . what can i do now give up a dream become a bouty man find a other work ?
