Everything you write is a process for Baunthy Hunter. Where there is not so clever in choosing gifts and spending time completing all tasks.
Easily signaling that the compilation of the project is good. factor in the number of participants. This factor can also explain the interest that participated when they joined, there must be many reasons why many chose it.

We can't stop scammers, at least not now, that's why a bit of luck is needed to make good money out of good bounty projects, to find the good projects you should pray for luck because your research can't always safe you

Thank you for making this nice Thread, But do you always get a good Bounty, which always pays you? I admit it is very difficult to distinguish which projects will actually pay you and not, I often analyze the various sides project that I participated in, their team, whitepaper, roadmap, but sometimes I still have the wrong choice.

Whatever we do I think these bounty scam will never be stop. I can see even we protest like this, those devil opportunist will never listen but just continue to do what they are good at cheating people, fooling, and stealing money. Even though they got busted they will just return with new one and setting up everything from scratch is not hard for these criminals. How many have exited scam on some ICOs making people believe they were real? Too bad.
Yes they will continue to exist as long as there are still people believing them. We cant eliminate the scammers completely but we can somehow do something to lessen their victims and it will start on ourselves. Op is right we need to check if there's a red alarm to stop joining in the project, so dont believe their too good to be true offer.

I prefer to post this here on this section because this is where it actually originates from. This is where the bounty scammers come to catch their "prey"- hunters.

Therefore, I have observed that since 2018, after the 2017 crypto bull , almost all bounty have been failing. After months of running bounty, some that manage to get to the exchange are dead on arrival with less than a dollar worth of 20,000 unit (or more unit) of shit distribution to hunters.

Consequently , with my little time here and as far as I have noticed, their are certain signs that seem like a no go area if we really want to participate in a fairly good bounty that we can also benefit from our labour, time and data.

These signs for me are :
1. When the thread is filled with grammatical and typographical errors.

2. When the task in the different or any of the allocated bounties are not defined. For example, how many facebook shares / posts are not defined and then you are left with asking from the shit BM. This is definitely and certainly a red light.

3. When the task is limitless. For example, no limit to shares/post.

4. When the task is too much. For example, 10 shares  Grin

5. When the requirements to get your reward is complicated. For example, you can be asked to sign up and provide referral number or code  Grin

6. When the process for reward isn't proper. For example, you notice you will be asked to watch a video to know how to provide wallet address or downlines  Shocked Roll Eyes Grin

7. When spreadsheet isn't updated weekly.... Just run  Grin

8. When weekly dates are not seen either on the thread or spreadsheet.

9. When you see only week 1 , week 2, week 3 etc just on spreadsheet without date.

10. When complaints on telegram isn't responded to promptly and you are not satisfied when you get response.

11. You don't need to continue if you notice you have been deleted from telegram and you know you have been asking legitimate questions to understand things not clear to you about the bounty.... Run run fast  Grin

12. When it is not handled by a reputable account as BM.

13. When there is no ANN at the beginning or it is provided later in the bounty maybe because someone is consistently requesting for it.

These are some signs I can remember and I know they are negative signs for you not to be paid after you do your part most times.

*** These signs are ; apart from whitepaper typographical mistakes and plagiarism  Grin Grin Grin

If we go with these signs and not sign up with a bounty you suspect could be scam, then the bounty will have less participants and with time, we can clear these scamming bounties out from this forum.

Each one tell all. You don't need to join suspected scam bounty.

I hope this thread will help bounty hunters.

All of that sign are the basics in telling that it is a shit project or a scam project but if you can also widen it then it will be good knowing that scammers are also adapting and keep on evolving their techniques. There are many projects right now that acts like a legit but in the end they will run the money of the investors.

It is pretty difficult right now to stop those professional scammers especially that most of them are using an advance technique that cannot be seen easily by us who are not yet that professional in terms of digging some deep information about the team behind it. But all of that are still very useful especially in identifying those shit scammers who are still in that level.

Scams are everywhere it is better to identify them by doing some research. I understand there have been a lot of bounty scams but those were ment to happen as most of them did not have a product ready. Only participate in bounties that are ready with a product and are looking for investors to develop and market their product.

It is hard to find such bounties now days but they are the only one who would never scam
You say almost true in many projects but not absolute, people can still encounter fraud when they rely on that criteria. I have seen the Ubiatarplay project where they already have products but the results are pathetic. However, the criteria based on the product I evaluate are still very useful, we can limit the risk.

The scam is unavoidable, even though we have done the research, it will only reduce the percentage of a project to have greater potential when we choose it. I am pretty sure that most users here have tried to try not to support the project scam. however, this cannot be avoided when these people have indeed tried to deceive investors.

It's hard to find good bounty nowadays, some have a working product but that doesn't really mean they will deliver success.
These days, though the market is quite bullish but we are still not back to the old good days status, crowdsale is not selling yet, so there's always a struggle.

Maybe just don't join in one bounty only, at least if you got 10, if 9 are scams, you still get 1 where you can enjoy your reward.

Thank you for these info. I joined a lot of bounty campaigns that appeares to be a scam. To be honest, I don't really like reading much about a bounty, what I do is I look for bountu that has many senior and legendary participants before that's why I always ended up participating a scam bounties. But that was before, I learned. As much as possible, I do my own research. And now, I'll also depend to this info. Thanks OP!

I don't judge bounty project based on how the bounty manager handled the campaign, most times the blame is on BM for his or her inexperience, profits can be make out of any bounties no matter how ugly they may look

Profit from bounty when you don't get distribution of coin tobyour wallet? Or when you receive 30,000 unit of shit pieces that is worthing some $5 after much weeks of task ? That isn't proper and you can't make profit in such is just a waste of time.
What if the same person gets 2BTC worth bounty token due to the few participants on the bounty project which has allocated 3% of the total supply? Will you make the same conclusion? Don't look the things from the single point.

Maybe you don't remember, there were days when the HERO member account was able to make a 0.001 BTC per day. The 3% bounty allocation will not hurt the team but it will look like a good opportunity for bounty hunters.

Many projects are taking advantage of the fact that crypto itself it's not regulated so any project can do whatever they like to bounty hunters because they believe that no one can question them. Many project cheat  and treat bounty hunters any how, if there can be any regulation body to probe any project that treats bounty hunters wrongly it will go a long way to help
So that the scammers can act arbitrarily, make fake projects, raise funds, create a bounty campaign to build a community that seems real, then run away. We must understand this scenario.
Many projects look promising with good planning, but they cannot develop properly due to unfavorable market conditions. So that projects with low budget difficulties. So it fails and is forced to cut bounty allocations or delay distribution and listing with an uncertain time.

If you want a truly legit bounty, please join a bounty managed by Hhampuz or another trusted manager who provides weekly payment in BTC. But the requirements are quite difficult, worth the price I think. The rest, we try our best to analyze the altcoin bounty, there are still many potential, we just wait for the surprise.

Maybe that is the sign that bounty are scam but we don't blame the bounty hunters because they need to earn money.

This is one of the sample that hunters will follow so once they see some about the campaign they join maybe they can leave or not to join anymore. I hope it can help them this thread to know the possible scam bounty campaign project.
I completely agree with your understanding of this. however, doing research as well as any, scam decision or not on the CEO. many projects with a good concept and quality objectives, and think that it is not a scam project, even listing on some popular exchanges. however, from time to time we don't know the true purpose of the CEO.

Yep, grammatical errors used to be one of the ways to dictate a scam, because they are usually careless in their spellings or they are just dumb. But that’s not the case this time around, scammers now take their time to create their project lol, and they make it look more professional as possible as it could.

I have seen a lot of scam projects that people fell for recently, and I noticed that they all looked perfect enough to deceive people. As for the other points you have listed, they are all perfect and can really help people to dictate when they are working on a scam project. People really needs to be wise these days and avoid these scammers. It can be heart-breaking to spend time and a lot of effort working on a particular project only to end up being scammed. So it’s better to find out early and quit.

Maybe that is the sign that bounty are scam but we don't blame the bounty hunters because they need to earn money...

Two years ago, there was a practice when bounty hunters who took part in fraudulent bounties were given a negative mark in the trust. Because they were participating in a bounty to promote a fraudulent project. And then the bounty hunters closely followed the bounty in which they took part.
Yes, and as far as I know this is still applicable even today. As long as the project was proven that it is a scam or if it is related to any project that has a scam history, bounty hunters were given a choice to continue to promote the project with negative trust or stop promoting it.

So now many people give advice to do some research on all bounties before making steps to follow them, because that time is very valuable for bounty hunters, because they will feel disappointed if the time is wasted.

The number 11 is sometimes the better proof that the team are covering up something, because if they aren't, asking questions doesn't warrant removal from the group. When someone asks a question which might expose the team in certian areas they ignore it, asking the question again leads to ban.
Also, your other points are enough proof that the project is not worth the time and attention of anyone. In the same way, it is good to know that even some of the good ones tends to play with hunters when it gets to distribution time which is where having a good manager comes to effect.
