Bitcoin Garden: FXOpen Adds New Currency Pairs with EOS
https://bitcoingarden.org/fxopen-adds-new-currency-pairs-with-eos/

FXOpen expandes the range of trading instruments by adding new pairs with EOS to Crypto accounts: EOSUSD, EOSEUR, EOSJPY and EOSGBP.

EOS is a new blockchain platform created to ultimately scale to millions of transactions per second, eliminates user fees, and allows for quick and easy deployment and maintenance of decentralized applications, in the context of a governed blockchain. The software provides accounts, authentication, databases, asynchronous communication, and the scheduling of applications across many of CPU cores or clusters....

Hi.

Could someone explain, how to get EOS tokens now?

I stored my EOS tokens as ERC20 tokens in MyEtherWallet.
I followed procedures and registered EOS tokens, I created private and public keys.

What I have now. I still have EOS token in MEW as ERC20 tokens frozen.
I have pair private key and public key.

What I need to do next? How to get my EOS tokens (which are not ERC20 any more)? How to download EOS wallet? How to get my tokens using pair private key and public key?

Can someone explain?

I was not able to find any information about further steps.

...you did not get it? How bad. You know what?

You are not allone!

Everyone recommended to have it on binance, but htf you vote ..?
I checked some of my eos addr on an eos page, it said, unknown address.
Even they are registered...

I'll wait and see 🙂

Wait a little longer, I think the EOS wallet will be launch soon.
You should be able to recover your coin with MEW as for any other ICO.
Planning the launch of EOS is going pretty well and we pass the objectives one after the other.

Hope we can stay above $11 for the time being  Huh

EOS is a solid project backed by huge investors. Right now the slowdown on the price is the effect of the after launch of the mainnet. But once infrastructure are layed out, it will be like the ethereum at the beginning, in few months the price will rocket. This is the next big thing.
The whole market has been down recently. I don't think the mainnet process reflects in its current price.

I agree 100% the price at the minute is based on rough market conditions, and the time the main net is taking to be fully implemted has not helped, but another few weeks and people will be wishing they had bought at $11.

Not only that, the coin was overhyped before the mainnet.
Where can this coin be bought in the open market?

over 100mio staked now 2/3 of required amount. http://dev.cryptolions.io/mainnet/#
and it looks like theres over 71mio on bitfinex balances.
So it now mostly depends on bitfinex' internal voting process. if bitfinex stakes, it could get over 150mio required in an instant

pity i didnt find any info about the current results of finex internal poll.

The issue is that, to vote, users have to prove they hold their tokens, a process that requires the use of their private keys, sensitive cryptographic strings that prove they own their funds, and if lost, would be gone forever. As such, it seems that while users are eager to take part, they are nervous that the tools that would enable them to vote might put their holdings at risk.

"The biggest 'miss' in EOS launch is the failure to understand that retail EOS investors will be reluctant to vote with their private keys on the line," one EOS user wrote on Telegram.

Hopefully this voting situation will be cleared up soon Smiley

What exactly is the problem, too many holders not wanting to stake in case price shoots up after main net fully launches ?

Many are not voting because they just dont know how to. If the EOS developers releases intensive information and application to the community before main net launch then maybe the voting process will not take long days or weeks to finish.

The other reason why the people are not voting is because they dont want their EOS get staked.
And they have no control about their amount. I thought that if your amount gets staked and there will be a locked period. They don't wanna risking their funds. Especially we are still on the bearish trend. lol
If another big bearish comes they can't dump their EOS to the market.  Tongue

so the conclusion two weeks later is:  mainnet did not launch.

EOS is a very strong and profitable sign and I believe it will reach an amazing price by the end of this year. But now the market is weak and we still need to be patient.
