in my opinion, if you are unsure about that it is better to sell a portion of ETH to buy EOS. and if one of the coins falls and starts to produce you will not regret it.

I think ETH is better is hold as it has more use case and efficient blockchain than EOS. I will suggest you hold your ETH but can still get some EOS with spare cash if you really want to.

From last pump of 2017 Ethereum blockchain dump 8*-9* and EOS dump only 6*. Here this history says EOS good but I believe you do support with Ethereum.
Well, it depends on your risk taking personality. If you are a risk taker, I suggest to invest in EOS because the total amount of profit will be higher on EOS than ETH, I guess. On the other hand, if you don't prefer to take risk, ETH is the best option. It wil give you little profit because the chance of reaching ATH for ETH is very low.
Eth and EOS are coins that have the potential to be included in the top 5 in CMC, both coins are worth investing. We will see that this coin has a future and a good value, the increase will benefit the user. If you have Eth, there's no harm in also having EOS, because the development of EOS also looks good.

In terms of what they have achieve so far, both are very successful, only down because of bearish but this coins will have a good future.

Eth nailed it, as we can see now at market the price is real dump so hard. Very wide gap on its highest price last 2017. If got your eth at this current price, you have a high profit when market back to pump days
Completely agree with you, mate. ETH is far superior than EOS in many ways. It's second next to Bitcoin in terms of market capitalization. The development team is extremely active, the community is friendly, and there's already an established ecosystem which is made up of startups and companies in the mainstream world. Being a true innovator in the smart contract space, one can be sure that it'll be here to stay for a long time. Investing a little into ETH each day, would be the wisest decision you'll ever make.
On the other hand, EOS is new with only a few months since inception. It's not as tried and tested as Ethereum, but it has an active development team working on it every step of the way. Relative to Ethereum, EOS is insanely cheap these days. EOS may have superior scalability than ETH in its current state, but that’s bound to change in the future.
Despite this, both EOS and ETH are great investments that will last for many years to come. Just my opinion

ETH and EOS, I prefer holding ETH than holding EOS, because ETH price growth also tends to be stable compared to EOS, because ETH is also a good platform for the future
Tehre is one thing that is annoying in EOS:. the huge amount of shit tokens received.. during 3 months with EOS y received much more spam tokens than in 3 years on my ETH addresses!
if you are in doubt then it would be better for you to sell 1 ETH to buy EOS, not all, because both are equally good and have the opportunity to make you big profits and I think that is the best and safest way because if EOS is not according to your expectations then you still have good coins and that is ethereum
