That is not bad idea actually, to reward those who invest some bigger amount in the last stage. For example,10% bonus for all that invest more than 5 ETH, something like that.

For bigger investments you can talk to sales team and they might be able to give you some sort of discounts if it’s over a certain amount. I’ve seen that feature on many other ICOs. Hello devs, can that ICO reach hardcap? I wonder what do you think about that.
Are you asking will this ICO reach hardcap? Well, it's still too early to tell, and it's hard to estimate how the sale is going, but I'm sure the team is working to that goal.

I am not sure that releasing such information is standard practice. It could impact sales (positively or negatively) and give a heads up to the potential competition.
