Meme coins have always been overrated, it is just many investors do not want to see this fact as they want to believe the coin in which they invested has a chance to make them rich, but the failure rate of meme coins is so high and the speed at which this happens so fast, that those people will realize very soon the mistake they made.

Unfortunately it will be too late to save their capital, and due to those losses they may come to distrust bitcoin and the few other good coins that exist, which could cause them to miss the upcoming bull run as they leave this market behind.

These type of new meme projects that hype people are not stuff you should be investing into. Maybe there is a small chance that you could do well with it at the time, but that doesn't mean that you are going to do all that well, sometimes you could do well enough and sometimes you could do terrible with it as well. I believe that we are not going to be doing that well if we are not careful.

This type of meme projects will end up making us lose a lot more money, and we should not be doing anything big with our investment into these type of silly stuff. If you really want to make as much money as you want, then you are going to end up with a result that is not going to be all that simple in the end.

Memecoin will remain with us for a while, but every once in a while a currency will appear claiming to be the best alternative to Dogecoin and disappear within months.

Believing that doge will not just disappear, the fact that Elon Musk is behind it, the oldest meme will still be the elder for other memes.
In the meantime the new memes are just trying to hype up the many enthusiasts on this one, regardless they hope to be like WIF, SHIBA or PEPE in the future but I say bullish if there are more memes like that.
I think memecoins will continue to come and go, in the sense that the old ones come out rugpull, then come again.

This is the TEH EPIK DUCK coin. I saw its name on Bitget's official account on X several days ago ^[1], and I believe it was listed. Trading opened on this exchange platform on April 18 at 11:00 AM (UTC).

As for me, even if it were listed on T1 exchanges, I do not recognize these meme coins as a real and safe investment. Although many people seek profit in the first place through their investments, not everyone sees the level of risk associated with these meme coins. Even if its price reaches $0.044, there's no guarantee it will return to that level, continue to rise, get listed on more CEX platforms, or its team won't abandon it and create another coin because creating a meme coin on the Solana blockchain, creating a website, and creating accounts for its community and simple designs is not difficult or costly.

Anything is possible in the crypto market, you'll never really know which new project will fly and still be relevant in the market and gain investors trust, so just carry out research and take chances from the multitude of them, because you're going to be gambling your funds, simple reason being that we have more scam projects than legit ones.
