Good !! I really dont know why there are not much miner on this coin , perhaps its because there are no exchange but they are going to miss out on all those cheap coin !
Better mine some at this low difficulty than buy at 100k sat after the release of the MVP platform !

Because of the inconsistency of the current block explorer, I am looking at getting a new one with cryptoID (chainz).

Will contact coinexchange again as soon as the new block explorer is up and running to get the TRP started asap.

Hi all, just a casual update.

Was on a break for the past week due to personal commitments.. starting up work on the EquiTrader platform again full steam ahead.

For now, I am setting up the domain and server and email accounts, then moving the existing code onto the new server. The existing code is a working prototype of the trading platform which is connected to the 1broker engine, and allows you to view your trades, open new trades, and also automatically create trades based on tradingview indicators using the alerts system. But all this is on my local server right now.

Once I move over the existing, will work on integrating the old code into a new bootstrap framework to improve the overall design.
This week I'll be working on setting up the user dashboard, starting with email password authentication, and then make changes to the existing code so that we can accept more than one exchange (i.e. add poloniex data and others in future).

I hope we can have a working alpha for you guys to test next month, or latest by July... Gonna be tight but rest assured we're putting in a lot of time into building the platform.

In the meantime, we hope more miners can support and secure the network and the work we are doing here, so we don't get attacked again like what happened last month.

EQT Token Redemption Program (TRP)

Fair Distribution

One typical issue faced in cryptographic token distribution is in striking a balance between the interests of miners vs. traders & investors, while also balancing the needs of other stakeholders who affect or are affected by the token. To create a level playing ground for investors, traders, and miners alike, we aim to create a fairer distribution system by introducing a new source of token supply on top of Proof-of-Work mining.

Majority of the development funds will be allocated to this token redemption program, so as to decentralize the supply to all interested parties, ensure that tokens are not centralized in our hands, while making it easy for non-mining savvy investors to acquire the tokens without the need for in-depth technical know-how.

Why 6m Tokens?
At the rate of 11,520 EQT per day or  ~345,600 EQT tokens per month, 6m EQT tokens represents roughly over 17 months of mining.

We hope that by introducing this second parallel source of supply, we will be able to ease the rate of distribution via mining and smoothen out the supply, while giving some early advantage to traders and investors in the space who do not have access to mining in the early stages of the project.

This will also help to ease the market into price discovery from an early stage, allowing the market to mature faster, which is beneficial to the growth of the EquiTrader market and community in the long term.


Why Host a TRP?

The high level requirements specifications and overview, architectural design, stack selection, and backend logic are was completed earlier in April 2017. Thus far, we have invested our own funds, efforts, and time into designing and developing the idea into a working prototype to conduct our proof-of-concept and make final adjustments. In fact, we are proud to announce that the MVP for our EquiTrader social trading platform has been pushed forward by a good 3 months or more! We look forward to opening beta testing as early as June/July 2017, and aim to have the platform ready for public launch in Q4 2017.

To take the EquiTrader Project to the next level, we are releasing a majority of the remainder of the development fund to early investors through the TRP. We will also disclose the revised development fund allocation plan, and detail out how we plan to use the funds received.

As we plan for the public launch of the EquiTrader platform, we believe that the time is right for us to host the TRP in order to grow our team and accelerate the development process. BTC received will be used for activities such as:
- Hiring developers to build the necessary platforms, products and services.  
- Hiring developers to build mobile apps.
- Hiring developers to build trading bots and tools, data analysis tools, and technical analysis indicators.
- Hiring developers to make improvements to the token.
- Invest in blockchain development and explore opportunities to utilize smart contracts.
- Set aside for marketing.
- Set aside for research & development.
- Set aside for reserves.


How To Get EQT?

Price/Bonus Structure:
First 1,000,000 EQT tokens at the price of 5,000 Satoshi (0.00005000 BTC/EQT).
Next 1,000,000 EQT tokens at the price of 5,100 Satoshi (0.00005100 BTC/EQT).
Next 2,000,000 EQT tokens at the price of 5,300 Satoshi (0.00005300 BTC/EQT).
Last 2,000,000 EQT tokens at the price of 5,500 Satoshi (0.00005500 BTC/EQT).

All unredeemed tokens will burnt. At the end of the TRP, 40% of the BTCs received will be placed as a buy wall at 2500 Satoshi for a minimum of 4 days.

Once the TRP is complete, you can look forward to trading $EQT on both coinexchange.io and cryptopia.co.nz.
