The Turkish foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said Ankara could impose economic and political sanctions against the Netherlands, if the country's authorities denied him permission to fly to Rotterdam to participate in the rally, reports Reuters.
Note that Turkish politicians had planned to speak at rallies in several European countries. The power of Rotterdam rejected the Minister of foreign Affairs of Turkey Mevlut Cavusoglu permission to hold a rally on 11 March in which he planned to convince the Dutch with dual citizenship to support the changes in Turkey's Constitution.

The dutch have forbidden his private plane to land on dutch territorium, so the turkish minister of  family and social policies just announced she would be coming by car instead. What a joke that country is. Holy guacamole.

Normally, if a head of state gets insulted in such a way, then he is more likely to stay away from that particular nation and initiate retaliatory measures. But by visiting the Netherlands like a beggar, Erdogan has proved that he has no shame.

Going to bed with putin while shitting on his nato allies.

Why is everyone who is friendly with putin such a borderline dictator?

Maybe it is time to question certain nato memberships...

Unfortunately it is a favorable and usual policy of Turkey. That means, as always does, Erdogan has decided to export to other European governments its internal problems with the referendum which will give more powers to him as Turkish president, causing political problems in many countries. It's really funny to listen from Turkey accusing the Netherlands as Nazi when as usual practice prohibits its citizens to use social media and also in the prisons are many people who have different political views with the current government.

Seriously, why bother going around Europe? Last time I've seen it fashionable for their politician to try to get into Europe was during the Ottoman invasions. Cheesy

Countries can ban who ever they want to ban. Seriously, sanctions against the Netherlands? They can shove that up their nether regions, I don't see that making a dent on the Dutch way of life, unless it also comes with support to homegrown terrorists there. In that case we'd see more Theo van Goghs lying on the streets. Oh wait, that way also in the Netherlands right?

I don't think he realizes what he does. Very ugly move, yet he doesn't care. Those elections are the matter of life and death to him. If he loses, he is most likely to be jailed.

You can't do much when the madness takes over and madness is the majority in Turkey right now.

He is trying to do everything he can so he can play the victim. Playing the victim is a very popular way to win the elections. That's how he won almost every election for 15 years.

It worked out for Mr. Trump and it will work out for that dude. (unless some holy incident happens)

Turkey is the same country where more than 2,000 Kurds were massacred recently just because of their ethnicity. And we have to remember that they are yet to apologize for the genocide of the Greeks, Assyrians and Armenians in 1918.

Let every Turk that wants to get involved in national politics move to Turkey.

Turkey shouldn't bark at Western Europe. Turkey should take good look inthe mirror before calling anyone nazis.
