watch everyone leave now....
next retarget.......2 weeks Sad

As far as the price will stay .02+ it will make decent profit even at this diff

it seems like dumpers have learned their lesson. the price stays stable at around 0.035 now. RPC becomes the third in price in all the market in just 1 week. amazing.

muchhash pool down:(

it looks like the pools are being bashed. We see a significant lag in webserver response time indeed as well.

stratum works just fine;everything will be counted and credited obviously Smiley these are complete seperate processes.

please don't press f5 every second. we update the front end every 60 seconds automatically Smiley

Holy smokes...

http://rpc.pooljunkie.nl Network Info
Difficulty   12.55819698
Est Next Difficulty    46.0623525 (Change in 319 Blocks)
Est. Avg. Time per Block   32.72 seconds
Current Block   9764

Please pray the multipools stay this time; otherwise we're completely toasted Smiley

There are no multipools right now in the network... if you look at all the pools the hashrate is distributed among them... also RPC is only on coinedup and coinedup doesn't have an trade api like cryptsy so they can't exchange their coins automatically and therefore i don't think multipools will join until rpc is on cryptsy or similiar exchange....

The last time all the normal miners just left(probably because of the high diff)

cheers

Good....gives me a chance to mine some more RPC before the big boys/girls come out to play.

if the 'big boys' come out to play this coin is gonna get dumped to oblivion. Look what happened to LOT. They are getting owned completely by multipools.

BTW I LOVE the USD/Day estimate on rpc.pooljunkie.nl.  It's inspirational.

nice isn't it? Smiley I've set the BTC value in the calcs, haha Smiley This is because there isn't an API available yet showing the true value in USD.

http://rpc.pooljunkie.nl is growing rapidly; come on board of our RPC train and help us increase our hashrate!

Yes...very nice....how about GBP/Day?

Well; there isn't a working API yet from the exchanges... As soon as cryptsy adds it we can make a working one.

for now; 1RPC is about 0,035-0,04BTC. We have set the BTC/USD value in the screen for now; gives nice numbers Cheesy:D

How many last blocks are used for diff retarget? Is it just a few of them or all 1000+? If only few, i suggest sacrificing big pools before retarget, to keep diff low.

17 to go.

If we just all keep hashing; nothing is wrong. The block time will just got to 120sec instead of 40... It will take 3x longer to find a block; SO WHAT!!!

Its only a problem when everybody drops out again!!!

Oh; and a big thanks to everybody giving http://rpc.pooljunkie.nl the 10% network rate we have been after!!! you are rewarded with good block find rates, giving a steady supply of coins for your hashes!!

We just encountered some problems at ron.n0nplusultra.net... The server load went to high and for some reason many people got disconnected from stratum.... the server is again running stable and all your shares got counted.... you should all be able to reconnect to the pool... but maybe some of you want to use the chance and join an other pool so we can get a better distribution of nethashrate...

cheers

Kana

Pooljunkie can take some of the load: http://rpc.pooljunkie.nl

signup and start hashing while the diff is still low!

still 30 minute frenzy to go before the diff jump!

I suggest we all continue to mine; so that we remain that 120sec block time Smiley

Still a VERY decent reward!

How is calculated the next difficulty ? Using nethashrate of the previous block ?

Could we just stop mining 1 or 2 blocks before the switch so the difficulty doesn't jump so high ?
