Are there plans to get to a point where one structure is used as "industry wide standard"? Less fragmentation and more intercompatibility would be great.

Most of the wallets are joining the BIP44 train. (TREZOR, Wallet32, Mycelium, MultibitHD, etc.) Yay! Breadwallet would probably also use BIP44 if it existed back then.

... uses BIP39, but uses different structure than BIP44.

I think it also should be able to be imported into the new iOS wallet app 'breadwallet' right?

Unfortunately not. breadwallet uses BIP39, but uses different structure than BIP44. But javascript implementation just appeared here:

https://github.com/dcpos/bip39 (optional passphrase support is coming very soon, already sent a pullrequest)

(usual disclaimer: never ever enter your recovery seed to the computer unless you have no other option)

Which wallets are compatible for Trezor? What future wallets are being added? And about how long for those to be added?

I've been testing electrum + trezor (well, actually: using as my day-to-day wallet, really). It's "right around the corner", 2 weeks style Wink. Seriously, though: dust is settling and electrum is close to a release.

The wallets that talk to Trezor are myTrezor and Electrum, and I think that Armory is planned.

If your Trezor breaks, the seed can be imported into Wallet32 and Mycelium 2.0 (RC1 is out).

Haha I sincerely appreciate the reference... 2 weeks style Tongue

Thanks for making this a reality -- I've been using and loving trezor since it's release.

Any deadlines on wallets that will be implementing Trezor and multisig?

My ideal situation is to have a wallet which requires 2 signatures out of Trezor, brainwallet, and emergency backup.

Do you think we could get transaction numbers to the left of the timestamp on a future update on mytrezor?  I like to be able to locate specific transactions without having to search through each one individually.

Everyone who has been on the fence about buying a trezor should definitely do so with this discount. I assure you it is worth the money for the peace of mind that it brings alone

can you use the trezor simultaneously with mytrezor and electrum?

yes

Well, not literally at the same time. I believe the Trezor can only communicate with one piece of software at a time.

But yes, you can switch back and forth between them, it doesn't matter since the private keys are on the Trezor, not in the software wallet.
That's ok
I was asking if I could change between the program and the web,but not literally at the same time  Wink

because the whole world is based on USD

I wasn't really implying that the whole world was based on USD, that is just the currency that I use in the United States.   It would be really convenient to me to be able to see the USD equivalent value when sending money from mytrezor, instead of having to pull out a calculator or whatever...
