For some reason when I go to send a transaction the send button stays greyed out even though I have the Trezor plugged in and it's recognized.

Any ideas?

Sorry in advance if this is a dumb question, but as i keep sending BTC to mytrezor, do i need to be occasionally connecting the actual trezor? Does that backup the BTC to the actual trezor?  Like let's say for instance, the computer im using crashes and I havent connected the trezor in awhile, if i install the browser plug in on a different computer, and then hook up the physical trezor, will the BTC actually be there even though it hadnt been synced since my computer crashed?
you don't have to backup periodically

you just have to keep the mnemonic seed safe(the words you are given the first time)

that is the only backup you have to do. With the mnemonic you will always be able to restore your bitcoins

Addresses on your trezor are deterministically derived from a seed. They arnt actually "on" the trezor. The bitcoins are on the blockchain. So long as you have the seed, than you can produce at any time as many of the addresses in that series as you feel like computing.

Ok thanks, yeah i knew they werent literally on the trezor, just didnt know if it periodically had to hooked up (sorta like backing up wallet.dat)

is there any way appart from trezor's official to restore the trezor seed?
how could we manage with trezor if in any time mytrezor.com is down?

Electrum has native support for Trezor device, Wallet32 Android app can work with Trezor's recovery seed and there's (lowlevel) python-trezor toolset for managing Trezor without any centralized service.
That's Cool !
Thanks

Looks like trezor wallet can now be restored to Breadwallet on iOS  it looks to be the first decentralized wallet on appstore. Anyone tried it yet? Cool that theres now an option for iphone in addition to androids wallet32

I would like it if we were somehow able to view our watch only wallet from our iphone... Is this at all possible?

it might be possible to take a copy of the "master public key" which can generate addresses only (no risk to find out the private keys from this) and build a watch only app on top of that. i've seen that in electrum and point of sale apps that use address generation only feature.
There is probably an easier way to do this:  download (or write) a compliant watch only ap, enter the xpub key, done.
Great minds think alike!

I prefer Zakir over Muhammed when mentioning me!
Clear would be freakin' epic!
That would never work, because then anyone could access your private keys inside... /s
No problem, you just write "private - don't read" next to them.

If you write like that, all most all of them who see it will try to open it. It's a psychological fact. Roll Eyes . Better thing is just leave than writing 'don't read' . Smiley

Can you connect the Trezor to your iPhone?  I don't have an iPhone but I don't think you can do that yet.

Yes if you have the right cord, but i dont think it does anything
If you can connect it then you would have to try to run Chrome, see it the plug in will load into the Chrome browser, connect it physically, see if they can talk to each other.  If all that works then you should be able to unplug the Trezor and wala!  a watch only wallet on your iPhone.

Writing some code is in no way the easier route for me Sad    I bet someone could make some sort of tweak or plug in for a jailbroken iphone, but I don't know if anyone would really spend the time.   I am going to try and mess around and see if there is some way to make it work with it though
