Somewhat confident in this three team parlay between Astralis, ENCE, and Movistar [email protected]. Astralis switched it up against Godsent yesterday and I think they'll continue to steamroll today. ENCE's match against BIG seems like a coinflip based on their last three matches but looking back at their performance in the IEM tournament it's not that surprising to see ENCE favored as they're able to go head to head against some of the toughest teams. The same goes for Movistar Riders, I doubt they'll lose to Tyloo knowing they took down decent teams like Complexity and Sinners in the IEM tournament.

Day after tomorrow the game between [ DWG vs T1 ]

Looking at both the teams having a winning streak it's hard to decide which one will win.
I'll go with DWG they've good game control and have been the last world's champions, T1 has a good chance but I think DWG's play style is impressive.

CSGO Major starts in a few mins, FWIW I got the favorites Astralis and Faze to win the [email protected], I think i've mentioned this before but Team Spirit doesn't look that good recently so i'm expecting the trend to continue while Faze is turning things around based on their IEM results. The Astralis match is a bit of a toss up since CPH is also good, it'll be interesting to see the veterans going up against a young and upcoming team on the opening match.
Place a few bets today on this tournament as the best of 1 matches yesterday were just trials to see how the teams faired.
But today they are back to best of 3 so put some down on Pain Gaming and Heroic earlier.
Yeah lost the first betslip with them being up 9-1 on map 3 and they ended up losing it.
So there is still some more feeling out for these teams still left to do.

The only hero who work counter Magnus is Rubick.

But after that match team spirit ban the rubick, IDK why every team not ban Magnus and choose to counter the hero. Horn hook is to op because collapse keep combo that skill with skewer.

Because their ego are trying to prove that they can counter Magnus within the next game with Lycan and Tiny instead of banning it to prevent Magnus from setting them up and hunt them one by one until the end. Ember Spirit and Terrorblade are also carrying that game and made it hard for PSG.LGD to pressure the lanes.
But PSG.LGD still worth to watch against Team Spirit despite ending in 2nd place.

Their are too confident that they’ll beat that Magnus and PSG prove that after bouncing back its just that, that was not their time to win the title, ended up on a second position is not bad at all. Magnus is not that strong especially if you have good heroes as well, Team Spirit did a great job as a team and not just by Magnus alone.
Just like on what lanatsa said above about their pride and dedication to beat that strategy but still it did really cost them the aegis and another situation happens that LGD did really choke out on finals.
This is just like on what happened on ti8 where lower bracket condition where team liquid had able to dominate that bracket and beat up chinese teams in the finals
This years international is really something that couldnt really forget and LGD do still fail to get the aegis after how many tries on able to get into the finals.

It wasn't totally a counter but XinQ had able to give that skewer back to Collapse with LGD is winning on game 3 or 4 as I remember. They hadn't banned Magnus?

Its part of their Ego or pride and trying to prove out that they could counter that strategy? One thing I do notice on how Team spirit do able to snatch out the tournament is that

they do actually have the good map vision and thanks to its support which is on mir4 and miposhka. They could able to execute team fights because of that one and also
in good positioning.

Indeed.

I know, the coach is not getting some prize too much maybe that's the reason why he betting. But betting on his team match just give a bad vibes and ended bad speculation, Imagine you're fixing match with 18$M prize pool ~LOL.

In my research based on the draft game, I don't think member PSG.LGD lineup has some involvement in this case.
Basing on that last draft game on game 5 then they had been using that lycan again to have that wolf bite on that tiny but it did fail on this time and I don't believe about some fixing the game basing
on the performance alone.

So I do also see that this was a personal choice or habit of betting and they had just attached something up to that but as a coach then you should be aware on what you
are dealing with or made out those actions.

It turns out to be that bad looking.

I know TI10 is over.

But what do you guys things about xiao8 case, a coach from PSG.LGD? while he was betting on the match someone said is was fixing match. I read on the Weibo thread, his ex-wife is also confirmed he was addicted to gambling.
That is a strange thing to hear during a tournament this big.
As I had mentioned on occasion I am not too familiar with DOTA2 and just started betting when the Internationals started last week.
But did this coach get caught betting on matches during the tournament?
I know in counterstrike they have their incidents but a coach getting caught betting on or against their own team while in a major tournament would pose a big question of match fixing involved.

As Trofo mentioned in his previous message, post a link so others may see the details.
Thank you ryzaadit.
In behalf of ryzaadit, I did make some research about it and found this one.

Seems like a big issue on this one.

You could have posted the link Smiley

I have not heard about this particular case but I believe that usual logic applies. Even if the match is not fixed it is forbidden for members of the sporting organization to bet on their games and usually also on the whole competition. It is easiest way to stop match fixing, especially now when there is so many different markets. You don't need to loose the game to fix the match. For instance you can make a big bet on who will get first tower, not very important for the game and still very profitable and easy to fix. Even if they don't fix the outcome they have insider information and arguably unfair advantage over the bookies and other players.

I know Valorant isn't included in this thread but I know some of you really like FPS games and It's also included on the Sportsbet.io eSports betting so I'll drop it here.
Valorant is welcomed to be discussed here as it was said towards your reply back in August:
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.57826946

Also mentioned in a post a few pages back here:
Been watching Valorant too? Looks like it getting more popular as these tournaments go on. With over 21k watching the Berlin Masters today.
Their stream on youtube is streamline and their venue looks very nice:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HIzcXf5ga60

Do you happen to be watching VCT masters Berlin (Valorant) right now? I'm betting with sportsbet.io, and I've mentioned in other eSports threads that SEN will undoubtedly dominate the group stage. SEN vs G2 recently had nearly 800,000 peak viewers, a typical G2 marketing strategy but SEN win. I hope that the number of people betting on Valorant grows because they are still comparing it to CS:GO, but if we look at the statistics, Valorant is making a name for itself in eSports and is on its way to becoming as popular as LoL and Dota 2 tournaments.
Markets can be seen here. Thanks to finaleshot2016 for the question of it's availability:
https://sportsbet.io/sports/betsy
Select Valorant from the selections on the far left of the screen.
Will revise the title of the thread so it is made more clear.

Also with the Intel Masters Winter qualifiers upon us, I managed to score a good win betting against the favorites which cost me last time I bet on CS:GO

Looks like the markets come up as the next opponents aren't known until the previous one are finalized.
But they are here later in the day when available:

We have the 2021 Worlds quarter-final draws now. Honestly, the odds haven't been determined yet but my favourites for these 4 matches are like this respectively: RNG, GEN.G, T1, DK. Besides, I think that DK will win the tournament.

Is anyone watching the Last Chance Qualifier for various regions?

We're just waiting for the NA LCQ, then the list of VCT Champions competitors will be full.

This is one of the international competitions I'm looking forward to after the TI because one of the teams playing is Team Secret, which has all of the players from my country. I'm also rooting for Full Sense, a team from SEA, and, of course, Sentinels!

Tournament start date: December 01, 2021
More info here: https://liquipedia.net/valorant/VALORANT_Champions_Tour/2021/Champions

Finally! someone brought up the VCT Champions on this thread, I'm really hyped up on how VCT Masters went, I came by this thread to actually ask if anyone knows a site or at least a community wherein Valorant betting is happening.

SEN is probably the most popular team around the roster considering on how they always perform, especially TenZ, but since Team Secret is playing this major, I'm rooting for them, representing Philippines and SEA this Champions tour, I'd like to see how Dubstep and the team show their skills on their first major in Valorant.

The second round of the groups looks more competitive and LNG is about to take a win from Gen.G that means there's a possibility for tiebreakers. Team Liquid's chances to qualify goes down if LNG wins but I won't be surprised if they get an equalizer against Gen.G later since they can't afford to lose the last two games. With that said i'm backing Team Liquid @2.23 vs Mad Lions, odds are too good knowing this is close to a coinflip but imo i'd give the edge on Team Liquid based on their level of play.
